Favorite Performer onboard

This is a topic I am not sure I have ever seen on the boards, at least not since I have been semi active on the boards.

Our favorite performer that we have seen is John Charles, in a runaway. We were lucky enough to see him on our first cruise on the Magic, and along with his funny stuff he did a set of three James Taylor songs which was unreal, especially in the intimate setting that you get in rockin bar D (like this set up better than the tube for this type of performance). We also were treated to his performance on the inaugural Hawaiian cruise which was a blast and really went long:cheer2:.

In a best of the rest, I actually really enjoyed Mike Super even though I generally dislike that type of act. Also so him out among us commoners and he seemed like a great guy. We really liked the buckets and boards family show, the drumming was really cool, I wish they would have done more of that during the adult show, I would go see them again, especially the drumming bit.

None of the rest really stick out, though there have been very few that we didn't enjoy, no others jump out in my mind as must sees again.

We love Ricky Kalmon. Alfred & Seymour was good too. Scott Pepper is okay.

I've only been on two cruises, but we really liked Michael Harrison, the ventriloquist.

This is not directed towards you, but towards him. We tried to watch him...both at the family show and at the adults-only show in Wavebands after. Ugh...he was so awful...he was doing basic theater class potty humor (like literally, jokes about toilets)...we snuck out :rolleyes1

Mike Super was awesome!

We ended up seeing 3 of his shows. Check out his website for a really cool trick to watch..you will be amazed.

Hope he's onboard next time...

Alfred and Seymour and Buckets and Boards!!!!!!!!! Also on the Dream we saw Knight Magic-they were unbelievable!!!!!

We've cruised 8 times, and seen a lot of repeat acts. There were only 2 that I wasn't fond of. But of the rest, I really liked Freddy Fusion, Mike Super, Michael Harrison, and a comedy juggling act I don't recall the name of. Ricky Kalmon was great, but I don't know how much I believed it. Oh - and Charo was probably the best show on the ship!

Hands down MIKE SUPER! He is LAVENOUS.

We are also very fond of Heath Hyche.

Alfred and Seymour and Buckets and Boards!!!!!!!!! ...

Linda

Those were our two favorites from the December Panama Canal cruise. We spent a pleasant time with Alfred one afternoon outside the Cove Cafe. He's as funny to talk to as he is on stage! I laughed so hard my sides were hurting.

:thumbsup2 Another Mike Super vote! Our favorite joke wasn't part of his regular act. He performed the night after Guy Bavali, who gave autograph pictures of himself to audience members that came on stage. So when Mike performed, the first guest that came up he gave them an autograph picture of...... Guy Bavali.:rotfl2:

If we're talking any cruiseline I have to add Joel Mason.

Susan Egan, voice of Belle on Broadway, and Meg in Hercules. Her voice was amazing and she hit the notes so effortlessly.

Loved Ricky Kalmon. Also was a female ventriloquist on board who was hilarious, but I don't remember her name offhand.

We liked JUNK who are from the UK and sailed some Med cruises last year. Loved the adults Buckets n Boards too, very funny.
I am wary of Alfred and Seymour as they do 'reverse racism' (if that's the right terminology). I try to laugh, but I think if a white guy said the same thing, he would be kicked off the ship. Probably just me and maybe just in the one show we saw .. I'd give them another go though.

Alfred and Seymoir hands down. They were out and about on the canal cruise. Just don't be late for thier show.
