Water Delivery FAQ

Thinking of ordering from Costco for delivery. They say 2-3 days. We check in on Sunday. Do you think Wed. prior would be too early? If delivery is UPS, it would probably arrive Friday, right?:confused3 Too early?

I was going to order my water from Costco or Sams club but I just saw a post about Walmarts water for nearly half the price. We are staying at POP and the walmart site did not recognize the address.

If you ordered from walmart and stayed at POP did you have any issues with delivery? Also, how far in advance should I order it? I have read that the resort will hold packages for two weeks. Is this accurate? Thanks!

Just placed an order for 2 cases of water from Walmart. Total was $8.90 with shipping.

We arrive at Pop Century this Saturday (May 12). It said delivery would be between May 9-14. Hope everything goes smoothly. Worst case scenario it's only $9.

Thanks for the tips everybody!!

How did it work out for you? I just tried to order to POP and it did t recognize the address. Hmm...

1050 century drive
Lake buena vista, fl 32830

Its the same address as on my reservations and on the pop thread page.

I'm looking to have water delievered for our trip. In the past we've had no problems, but this year we are staying at Coronado Springs. Do they still charge the $10 delivery fee at CSR. I thought I read that if you shipped it through USPS you can avoid this charge. Does anyone know which companies ship USPS. We've always used Costco, but can also use Staples.

Thanks!!!

All the info is on the sticky at the top of the board called shipping to your resort. Convention resorts do charge a fee.

It is also suggested you do not use USPS for delivery. Read the sticky carefully for the explanation.

I used Walmart to deliver "Great Value" bottled water to POFQ. The total cost for 2 cases was $8.90 including delivery. I ordered on Friday morning and it arrived Monday afternoon via FedEx ahead of the projected Wed-Fri delivery window projected by Walmart.

Port Orleans stored package at Riverside mailroom. When we arrived Friday at 11PM, the mailroom was closed. In the morning, I had the French Quater request the package be delivered to the FQ lobby. We went to breakfast and returned to claim our package.

The resort store charged $16.00 for one case of water vs. $8.90 for two cases delivered from Walmart.

I am planning on ordering water from Walmart in the next few days for our trip starting 8/27. We'll also be staying at POFQ and I was wondering how you filled out the address part of the order form? What address did you use and what other info did you include? Thanks!!

I just ordered two cases of water from Walmart for $8.90 including shipping, to Coronado Springs..hopefully they make it by Saturday!

mrf777 - Did your water make it in time to Coronado and how much did the resort charge? Were thinking of doing the same thing for Coronado and wondering what the most recent experience with this was.
Thanks.

What shipping code did you use and what did the resort charges, we are going in 3 weeks, and I was wondering how you made out?

Well, typically when I go to WDW i typically use staples or Garden Grocer to deliver to the resort.
Typically if it is during the winter months I tend to wait till 3 days before i go so if there is snow etc I can well not order it and deliver it to no one or if I have some one I know that is in the College program I have it delivered there and well make a fast taxi stop to visit them and pick up the package and it also helps when we have lefty over stuff
Hope this helps

Is Costco still delivering to Disney Resorts? I wanted to order some water for our trip in two weeks. Thanks

When I looked into this a while ago, the Costco website did not "understand" the Disney resort's street address. This is apparently because the Costco site verifies every delivery address against the U.S. Postal Service database. Since USPS does not recognize Disney street addresses, instead using the P.O. Box exclusively, those addresses fail the database check and Costco shows you some annoying error message. Unless there is some way to tell the Costco website "Yes it's a real address, just ship it there, dummy!" it may be hard to place an order.

Mind you, this was back in 2011 when I ordered from Costco (our last time shipping, I did it via Amazon)...

I followed the address format listed in the first post and it worked fine for both sites. Like, for the Beach Club

Name: Miss OutandAbout
Company: c/o Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Address 1: 1800 WEST EPCOT RESORT BLVD.
Address 2: #4xxxxxxxxxx (Reservation Number)
City, State, Zip: LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL 32830-8423

I've done it for the past 3 years with no problem.

Ah, that's good to hear, it sounds like costco.com has gotten better at recognizing Disney street addresses. The dad in Carousel of Progress is right -- things just get better and better!

ETA: I notice that the USPS database now recognizes Disney street addresses. If you type in the Pop's address, for example, and request the ZIP code, you no longer get the "address doesn't exist" message. I wouldn't be surprised if USPS still funnels everything through the Disney PO Box, though.
