Thanks Norm, DD was kindof in a "pout because we are leaving Disney" mood so she prob would not of participated anyways, the food was amazing, I almost had to roll myself on the Monorail, best food we had all weekend, and it beat all the food from the last trip too. Besides the DVC discount I was happy that I was able to buy the DVC 4 resort pin set with SSR, BLT, AKV and OKW, the first one I got, I'm glad I looked before we left but it had 2 BLT ones and no SSR so I exchanged it. And thank you again for the heads up on TOTWL, We all loved it and DD was so proud that she spotted the hidden Mickey on the 16th floor on the ceiling

On our last trip, we ate their on our arrival day. We stayed at BLT and we made the mistake that day of going to the MK while we waited for our room to be ready. Everyone was tired\cranky at it was insanely busy. Fast forward to dinner at 6PM. To say I gorged is the understatement of the year! So the girls were pushing for us to stop at MK on the way back. I told them I didn't care what they did but that I was going back to the room. I've seen very mixed reviews for O'hana but we LOVED it.

Some of you already know but tonight my son was tested and received his pre Black Belt in karate, by The Grand Master himself, usually a instructor or Master does it, so having A Grand Master do it is quite a honor:thumbsup2
Very cool! That's a big achievement.
My youngest DD had her second Tae Kwon Do session tonight. She absolutely loves it. And she enjoys kicking me in the shins as practice.

Congrats. We might be there at the same time. DW and I are still trying to decide if we should push our trip back a week.

My wife is a pharmacist so once she has that vacation week in, it's etched in stone! It'd be cool to meet up with a fellow DIS Dad.

I was thinking that and it also reminded me of the college days when we'd go running in an attempt to cure our hangovers. Or when we had to run back to the bar where we left our cars.

Kinda have a weird idea, would anyone be up for A Finding Bigfoot expediation in either VA or PA this summer:confused3 Although IMO after a few cocktails it would be way more interesting:thumbsup2 But a DDC Bigfoot expedition would be a 1st::yes::

Would this be like a Snipe hunt?

Congrats on booking your flights, I booked ours yesterday too, but for west coast, did WDW Halloween last year so wanted to see DLs this year, we learned our lesson on doing a park on travel day last trip, did AK shortly after checking in and DD was cranky, we did 2 rides and tough to be a bug and Tusker house and that's it, so this time we explored our hotel on Friday and the park days ended up being awesome.

Good morning fellow dads hope all is well

Morning Guys!

Hope you guys in the mid-West dressed warm, looks like another fun filled day of snow and cold.

Matt

Running to cure a hangover????:confused3 I always thought you were just supposed to sleep it off. :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

Bummer, dude. But keep your head up and continue to work hard. I've been there and have gone through the range of emotions.

Thanks, Brett. I try to allow myself 24 hours to feel sorry for myself and then get back to work. Hard when it keeps happening over and over, though.

sorry you got passed over. didn't you slip the boss an envelope full of bacon??

Of course not. Then I would have less bacon.

Sounds like you're pregnant. ;)

sounds interesting, although I think I'm more of a DDC Ghost Hunter type.

Good Morning.

137 Days to go.

Here's the pressed penny bracelet I made for DD. She promptly broke it and I have to fix it today.

I also made this one, which ended up being HUGE, even on my wrist.

So, not the most successful blog experiment. I'll have to do more research about how to make it so DD can't break it as easily.

Today, I have cupcakes to make. Butterfinger cupcakes from Starring Rolls.

Morning gentlemen. :coffee:

The kids got a snow day today and DW is working from home. I'll fire up the snow blower later and the kids will go sledding down the hill next to the house. Fun times.

I am so tempted to book with Southwest but I'm waiting for a local airline, Sun Country, to post their airfares first. Their prices are close with Southwest being a touch cheaper when you factor in Sun Country charges for baggage. Sun Country's flights, however, are all non stop. I think that might tip the scale in their favor.

Could I ask all of you guys in the Upper Midwest and the Great
White Norf for a favor?

WILL YOU PLEASE CHECK YOUR WINDOWS AND DOORS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLOSED.....TIGHT!!!

Your cold air is sneaking out and running down here. I am headed to Lake Okeechobee next week for some bass fishing.

I do not need a cold front to "make things interesting". Things are interesting enough, thanks!

Sincerely

The Fed.
