Monorail pictures

South Carolina - Your pictures are inspiring! Makes me want a fish-eye lens (if that's what you used for some of these).

Kathy

Thanks Kathy, your kind words made my day. :) Yes, this was my new "toy" that I got just before my last trip. It was a fish eye zoom on a full frame camera. Here is another one that I posted in another thread.

Don't tempt me South Carolina! I thought long and hard about a full frame before getting my T4i; just couldn't quite make the leap!

Love the inside photo!

Here's one DH took when we had a chance to ride up front.

It's an old film photo that I scanned in, that's why it looks crappy. I don't know how to make the pictures smaller once they're in photobucket. :(

Ah, nostalgia!! I completely support the decision in the name of safety, but it's sad that nobody will ever bet the chance to see this view again :sad2:

I don't use Photobucket much now days but there is an options key where you can do it and choose your size. They have changed it recently ....I hadn't been on for months and logged in today to get this one, and it took me ages to find it :rotfl2: Everything has moved!

Totally agree as well; so glad we got to ride a couple times before it ended. Here's ours from 1997; another not so good shot I need to spend time working on to make it look better:

I am so excited to see/ride for the first time 3 months from tomorrow:cool1:. I'm even more excited that DLR still allows guests to ride up front :yay:.
i was surprised too. There is a cone in the front and a cone in the back where they let you ride. The monorail have a different seat configuration than at Disney.
