Wow, what a gorgeous day! The weather looks amazing. Your TSMM pics are great. I agree, I don't get why the lines are still so insanely long, but I do like it better than Buzz.

Presley looks so cute in her Snow White dress. She's a real princess!

Your TOT pics really make me miss how fun that ride is. I love speed and drops and always think I'll get used to that ride, but never! It's so fun and unexpected each time!!!!

It was a gorgeous day and it got HOT! You'll notice I started the day with a jacket on but quickly ended up without it

ToT is unexpected no matter how many times you ride it! I thought I'd get used to it at some point but NOPE still a heart attack each time and I ride all roller coasters

I love TSMM, but I agree the lines are out of control. Didn't you love the queue?

I've never seen the Chip magic shot before! I love it! I have got to get over my fear of asking to get those shots. I really love them.

I do love the queue so much! The only reason I'm sad we didn't ride standby is because we didn't get to see the Mr. Potato Head and other elements that everyone talks about!

We are definitely in the same boat with magic shots! We had pre-purchased PP+ so more than one photographer told us to ask them for magic shots but for some reason I feel strange about asking. I feel like they should just automatically offer if they're capable. I've seen people politely decline if they don't want to pose for the shot but I was also waiting for a photographer who I watched do a magic shot for the people in front of us and then didn't offer us the option

It is definitely one of my goals for next trip to try to work up the courage to ask for more of them!

I’ve missed so much! Time to catch up!! Haha. Love the interaction with Mickey, that’s great! I actually have never met any of the characters out at the hat, I’ve always been busy doing shows or rides and just figure I can meet them somewhere else! They’re outfits are super cute!

I find that I end up running around DHS in circles too, its definitely the park I end up walking the most in, there’s always so much doubling back for fast passes and shows and stuff!

Baha! I always end up taking a million photos of the shows even if I’m going to ‘enjoy it” it just never works out! Aww! Super cute photopass photos!! Yay for free pretzels! How awesome haha!

I love TSM!1 Ihave to agree that it’s way better than buzz, I can never figure out how to actually hit the targets on that one, haha! The line always being so long doesn’t really make sense either, but it’s super popular! And awesome!

You had the best excuse for missing some updates lol! Yeah it's strange how early they have them stop meeting at the hat but I guess it's their attempt to give parents with little kids something to do in the morning other than sprint to TSM loll.

Haha I take 1000 pictures of everything and at Disney my problem just becomes that much worse!

TSM is pretty awesome! I wish it was easier to ride though.

Definitely my logic with the photo pass pictures. I figure the more pictures we get, the less each one costs lol!

Hello! Sorry for the delay but it's been a whirlwind week here! I FINALLY got a nursing job but I literally had my first interview Tuesday, second interview Wednesday then on Wednesday night they called me to tell me I got the job and had to go in Thursday to do paperwork and Friday I started orientation. Luckily, my boss was understanding when I gave him one day's notice that I couldn't come in. But my new job in Monday-Friday and I'm still working at my old job on Saturday's until they find a replacement so I'm finally sitting down to breathe now!

Also, on Wednesday night, DBF and I saw Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, which I had already seen but he hadn't and the show is so so awesome! And when we left the theater we saw Tom Hanks cause he's starring in another show on Broadway! I wish i had gotten a picture!

Anyway, without further ado, we return to Hollywood Studios!

We got on line at about 3 because their next set was starting at 3:15. When we got online, there was a bunch of people online outside but since they weren't meeting, there was no one waiting inside so the line wasn't as long as it seemed. We were walking in here at 3:16.

After this, DBF and I had minor meltdowns. We had been trying to connect with Jen and Rick all day to meet up and do some stuff together and it kept not working out and they were getting frustrated that they kept running into long lines and we felt bad that they might've been not enjoying themselves but we told them the key is getting there early, especially for AM EMH. Then, the discussion of meeting for a sit down dinner came up AGAIN and I told everyone that we didn't make an ADR but we could try to see if there was anything available during the first Fantasmic cause that's where everyone would be and then DBF wanted to know why we weren't seeing the first Fantasmic and then I got annoyed because I'd been planning the trip for months and telling him/asking for his suggestions on plans and his answer was "I don't care, I'll do whatever you want" but then when we got there everyone wanted to change all my plans around.

Yeah it was rough for a few minutes. Luckily we recovered quickly and headed onto The Great Movie Ride.

I had to smile when I read about your rough patch because I can so relate. For months Bryan will tell me he doesn't care what we do, but then we're there and he's all "why aren't we eating there? Why didn't we do that?" Makes me want to scream. Luckily this trip he's getting much more involved.

That's great luck finding Buzz and Woody with only a 15 minute wait! Last trip we didn't even meet them together because the line was alway 45 minutes or longer!

Yup that sounds pretty much exactly how it goes here too It's pretty frustrating because I really do want his input but he waits until it's too late to give it to me!

The line was SO long all the time! The only reason we caught them was cause I knew that's when their next set started and because it was during the parade or we would've missed them too!

Sounds like you had an amazing time at Phantom and the Tom Hanks siting is an extra bonus.

I love the cue for the Buzz and Woody meet and greet. It's so creative. Using your great character stalking tips, I hope we can catch them next trip. The Great Movie Ride cue never disappoints either. There are always so many interesting props, costumes, etc. from the movies in there. But really, is it too much to change out those creepy, dusty trees in the loading area? I'm surprised because we all know Disney's eye for exquisite detail. But pleeeease, change out those trees!!! Rant over.

LOVE the updates!!! We were there around the same time as you. Jan. 5-13. We stayed at AOA because now we have 3 kids over 3. We loved it but also love POP. It was a magical trip and I cried when it was over. How about the awesome weather that week!! I couldn't believe how hot it was. My brother and his family went the first week in March and froze!!! I'm starting nursing school in September so CONGRATS on the job!!!!!

So this update has been delayed because:
a) Officially working Monday- Friday 8:30- 4:30 has proven more taxing than I thought! I'm officially an adult
b) I'm not entirely sure what we did next!
I've managed to patch together a rough outline however so here goes!

When we last left off, we were recovering from a melt down and Presley was meeting Buzz and Woody.

We got off the GMR at 5 and I have ONE picture.

This was taken at 5:25. So it's my best guess that this is when we decided to walk over to the Streets of America to see if the Osborne lights were on yet because I know we were sitting on a curb waiting when we saw Mulch, Sweat and Shears start performing and decided to stick around and listen for a bit.

Next, it seemed like we decided the lights weren't coming on and decided to go see the Little Mermaid show. I had no idea DBF liked this show but all day he kept asking to do it and all day the line kept being horrendous. When we got there, it was still INSANELY long even though I was hoping it would empty out while people were at the first Fantasmic but no such luck. I think it was about 6 and there was supposed to be a 6:15 show but the time said 6:40 or something around there. The guy said we may or may not make it into the 6:15 show that's why it was posted 6:45. Grr.

We decided to wait anyway and hope for the best. They kept letting people in and fastpass people kept coming and we were like oh there's no hope. BUT then we made it! We were one of the last groups! Success!

After this, we made a quick dash over to see the Osborne lights! I had been waiting all day for them!

However, it was now 6:45, the lights were packed and we realized we should eat something before we lined up for the 2nd Fantasmic showing. We headed to ABC Commissary for the 2nd time that day. I know the first didn't make it into an update but I know it happened. I know ABC gets a lot of hate on the Disboards but we enjoy it. The food is typical fast food but it tastes good and it's never crowded. We ate and headed over to line up for Fantasmic!
