We are "officially" booked for our 3rd Disney trip! So excited and driving DH crazy with all the Disney talk and planning! I am a little excited! :yay:

The cast -

DH who loves thrill rides and does his best to make us all happy. He is a trooper and goes along with my "plans"

I am the obsessive planner/replanner/lets start over planner .. I have everthing typed up and highlighted with color coded colors..

The pics are from our trip in 2011.. 2 of my favorites :)

DS (13) Lover of thrill rides, always ready to stay in park from opening to close and favorite character -Donald

DS (10) not a fan of thrill rides but he has gotten a little more adventurous so hoping to get him on a few new rides on this trip. Favorite characters are Mickey and Chip & Dale.

We have stayed at the All Star Movies on our last 2 trips and the only thing DH asked was that on this trip we stay somewhere with a bigger bed! So we are booked at the POFQ. Looking forward to staying somewhere new.

We are booked June 2013 and will be driving from Texas  We have drove the other 2 trips also and it really isnt too bad. Last year our vehicle broke down the morning we left!!! We only made it to Ocala. The bad part was we had brought it in to have everything checked out before we left and thought all was good! Not the case! The fuel pump went out.. Hoping for a safe and uneventful drive down and back :wizard:

The main reason we picked these dates is to fit in the Star Wars week-ends. Our first trip in 2006 we attended but in 2011 we went in June instead. Really looking forward to going and have scheduled in 2 days for that.

Up next ... park planning and ADR's

Day 1 -Paradiso 37
Day 2 - Via Napoli
Day 3 - Tusker House breakfast
Day 4 - Crystal Palace breakfast
Day 5 - Coral Reef
Day 6 -Sci Fi for an early lunch &Mama Melrose Fantasmic package for dinner
Day 7 - Plaza restaurant
Day 8 -just counter service

We have been to the Crystal Palce once before and Sci-Fi we visited on both of our previous trips! Probably our favorite!!

Both kids are very picky eaters so I really looked at the menus and tried to find a place they would both like -- One likes steaks the other grilled chicken only. Excited to try some new places..

Planning on spending 2 days in each park -- except Animal Kingdom. That is just a one day park for us.

Thinking about changing my Paradiso 37 reservations to TRex???

I am a little anxious to see what all the plans to the Fast Pass program will be and when it will be started :worried:

For Tusker House and Crystal Palace I really wanted 8:05 ADR .. When I booked all I could get was 8:20 TH and 8:25 CP ...

I have been checking each day and I did get an 8:05 TH  Had to swap MK & AK days but for now its

8:05 Tusker House on Wed
8:25 @ CP ... going to keep my fingers crossed an earlier one opens up..

Also did some changing and cancelled Paradiso 37 and went with T-Rex -- thinking the kids might enjoy that a little more! popcorn::

DH has heard all he wants to hear about Disney until we leave :) I have driven him crazy by discussing everything over and over and trying to decide a plan

I think I have finalized the general plan and ended up adding a day at the beginning!

Leaving as soon as school is out on the last day of the school year and driving as far as we can go we arent really planning where we want to stop because if we arent tired we will just keep going. DH works nights the night before we leave so he will be sleeping until kids get out of school and will be rested and ready to go.

Day 1 at Disney

Arrive POFQ and check in. Then head over to Downtown Disney For lunch I am looking forward to Earl of Sandwich but will probably let the kids grab a quick bite at resort before we ride the boat over to DTD. We have ADR @ Paradiso 37 @6:15 never been here before and I know DDS (10) will be happy they have Dr. Pepper :yay: That is one of the things he remembers very well! The lack of DP at Disney! He will probably stick with water at every other place we eat!

Day 2
In the morning we will hit HS for Star Wars weekends fun. We have an ADR @ Sci Fi @11. Heading to the Hoop de doo Review for the 6:15 show and then taking the boat back to MK area. EMH @ MK this night so we will probably do that. I was also debating heading over to the Poly and watching the fireworks from Poly beach??

Day 3
I plan on being at rope drop @ Epcot (my favorite park) Hit some of the must do rides Soarin, Test Track. Head over to WS and start in Mexico on this day.. I am thinking lunch in Mexico @ the CS restaurant over the water. Continue around the worlds and we have an ADR @ Via Nappoli @6:20first time to try this restaurant. After dinner we will take the boat to the EMH @ HS.. Will be catching up on the other countries later in the week.

Day 4
Crystal Palace for breakfast! This is probably one of our favorites and a must do. I have a possible trip back to resort scheduled today for rest/pool. This night we are going to EMH @Epcot.

Day 5
Spending this day @ Animal Kingdom. We have an ADR @ Tusker House @8:05. First time at this restaurant. The plan is to head straight to the Safari and then over to Expedition Everest. I love FOTLK and plan on seeing that. We havent seen Nemo but will try to fit that in this time. Kali River Rapids is off the list for this trip .. Just not a must do for us! We plan on having an early night today and hitting the resort pool when we leave AK.

Day 6
Back @ Epcot this day. The plan for WS today is to start in America and head around to Canada. I also have a walk through the International Gateway today to visit some of the resorts over there. We have ADR @ Coral reef @ 7:05. This is a new restaurant choice for us and I have read great and horrible reviews Looking forward to giving it a try and seeing what we think.

Day 7
Another day at HS to get in on the Star Wars Weekend Magic :cool1: Probably just a snack for breakfast today as we will try to fit in Pizza Planet for an early lunch. Not the greatest food but my kids both like the atmosphere and seems to be one we do every trip. We have the Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package booked on this day @5:05& We have not seen Fantasmic on previous trips so really wanted to see it this time around.

Day 8
EMH early @ AK so we may head over there first and try to get in a few rides on EE.

Heading back to MK today Late night ADR @ Be Our Guest (9:10) I have been trying since we booked to get something here and finally snagged this one--

Day 9
Last day really dont have a schedule.. I have no ADRs this day because I really just wanted to leave it pretty free to go back and see those things we might want to catch one last time -

Just begin reading your PTR and enjoyed it so far. Sounds like a great schedule! We also drive to the world. For us it is about 12 hours but it is certainly managable. I know you must be counting down the days. Looking forward to reading more!

Great plans, I would just not enjoy that long drive. It will be worth it once you get there.

The drive down there usually isnt too bad! I guess because we are so excited :) ... the drive home is another story!! lol

Hey there. Im reading too. We are also going during the time you will be there but sans the kids. Looks like tons of fun.

Here's a hello from a neighbor to the north up here in OK and our drive is about 19 hours, but we love it. Heck, for us, 12-13 hours would be a one-day drive :) . Have a great time.

Thanks for following along with my ramblings :)

19 hours -- WOW!

I will probably read for most of our drive, seems to make the time pass quicker :car:

Today we have 91 days to go!! Seems to be going oh so slow! I have made a few changes to my "planning"

I cancelled the Paradiso ADR and Downtown Disney on our arrival day.. DH has mentioned on our last 2 trips he wants to go to Old Town for some sort of car show?!? I just never have been able to fit it in ... He mentioned it again a few days ago so I decided we would do that ~

I also added in breakfast at Kona Cafe on our last Saturday .. we are going to EMH at Animal Kingdom and then I thought we couuld easily catch a bus over to the Polynesian and check it out and have breakfast -- I have heard great things about that Tonga Toast :) then head over to Magic Kingdom after that ..

Last week when we were at 101 days, I surprised the boys with "dalmation" cupcakes and we watched 101 Dalmations -- They thought it was completly cheesy and corny, but they smiled and went along with it for me --

We're also going to WDW in June. AND leaving the day the kids get out of school. I won't have a PTR going, so I'll just read yours...lol.

We are flying. We did the drive twice and it's not for us. However, it's a 2 day trip for us (20 hours if we didn't stop). We're staying at POR. The kids are dd14, ds12, and dgd7.

The only planning I've done so far is book the resort, book the flights for the kids & I, and get a ressie for BOG restaurant. I still have to book dh's flight. He will only be joining us for a few days.

I'm having a hard time figuring out if we should get hoppers and/or water park tix.

I was going to avoid DHS for the Star Wars Weekend. Ds used to be a big SW fan, not so much anymore. I still have to decide if we'll attend.

Thanks for sharing!! I'll keep on reading. :)

Thanks for following along with my ramblings :)

No prob. im now having the guilt of being a bad parent. We will probably miss DS last ball game of the season:( Im not sure Grandma is ready for toddler and baseball in one weekend. :rotfl2:

BTW- Your 101 cupcakes at your 101 day mark was such a cute idea. The Poly is nice. It smells good:upsidedow

We will be taking our first trip to Disney in June  I'm really loving seeing everything others have planned.

Our drive is about 16 hours and while my my kids, my mom & I will be out of school for two weeks, we still have to wait for DH to get off work on a Friday before we can leave - so no getting to Orlando until late Saturday night!

We got park hoppers on 1st trip and not our 2nd .. I like the flexibility of being able to go to multiple parks if we want. Originally I had us down for water parks even though I am not a fan at all -- Oldest DS mentioned wanting to go but the more we talked about it he said wasnt a big deal to him.

All the guys in my house are huge SW fans so I am outnumbered.. If they werent we would most defiantely avoid HS those days!

So awesome yall are taking an adult only trip :) I would love to do that one of these days..

We are now staying at the Coronado Springs resort ...

We will be there at the same time. We are staying at POR. I think we'll be at Crystal Palace the same morning too. I'm enjoying reading your plans. We have very similar ones!
