I've been taking a look at WDW tickets through Undercover Tourists. Would love some opinions here....

I'm at the World for 7 full days. We want to fit in a day at one of the Water Parks; possibly Blizzard Beach...and a MNSSHP.

If I buy a 7 day park hopper and water fun ticket, it will be about $376 per person.


I was considering the option of buying a 6 day park hopper and water fun ticket. The cost is about $366 per person. There is a $10 saving per person, which amounts to $30. I suspect that will cover 0.5 of a MNSSHP ticket.

I know I could just get the 7 day park hopper and not have to think about it. But I was thinking....if I get the 6 day park hopper, we could fit in Blizzard Beach in the morning and MNSSHP at night; which would cover that extra day.

Its unlikely that we would head to another park on that day....am I overthinking this? Should I just get the 7 day and be done?

It's always dangerous thinking.....this close to ADRs opening.

So I think I want to experience food at:

Animal Kingdom
Tusker House. I can do this for a character meal.
Yak and Yeti. Not really sure about this one. It would be for lunch. Do I do counter service?



Epcot - less of a concern because there are so many good CS options but also because it will be F&S.
Via Napoli. I could do this for lunch. It is at Epcot; so I'm wondering if I should book an ADR or if I should just wing-it to see?
We mentioned Chefs de France, didn't we???

Hollywood Brown Derby - This is one we might all want to do for Fantasmic! We won't be able to sort out the day until the schedules come out; but what time? Did we agree on5.45pm? That is a good time for us.

Yes, I think the Brown Derby/Fantasmic package was agreed upon and it seems that the schedule here comes up about 6 months ahead of time. If you go by last year, October 2012, it was offered almost daily in October, so that's good.

You mentioned going to BB and that's a lot of fun. Since you want to go to a MNSSHP, why not save the bit and buy the 6 day hopper instead of the 7. I think you would be safe doing that. You're staying at BCV and that pool is pretty great, but BB is even more fun! If I'm there when you do go to BB, I could join you for a bit at least, since I do have water parks included in my AP.

Chefs de France also has not been hard to get ADR's for, and neither has Via Napoli (DH and I will be trying that for our first time in April), I think we can wait until the Fantamic day is known before booking either of those, JMO.

My schedule for BB depends on which days MNSSHP are on; and Fantasmic! and the Wishes pontoon. I wonder when the October schedule will be released? It will be easier to have this all set then...

The counter servicesthat I like the best are at Flame Tree Barbecue, and the food court in the Land. I have been known to go over to a Value food court, or the one at AofA because they take TiW. Need a car for that, though.

Hi Guys I know I'm not there at the same time exactly but, I am enjoying reading about your food choices

I'm watching Mousesavers for them to offer a free meal plan. If they offer a free meal plan like they have for the last 2 years, then I will book Coronado Springs. In the past two years, they have offered a free meal plan for my dates by now. That makes me wonder.....

I like to try new restaurants every time I go. I'd like to see the Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge Villas but that will count as 2. Have you all been there?

With Be Our Guest, I'm not sure if I want to do counter service for lunch and sit down for dinner.

Kozzina's (sp) is a Greek place on the Boardwalk that sounds like it has good lamb. I'm always on a quest for lamb

At Epcot, I have never eaten at the Chinese sit down restaurant or the new Italian one. But, they are going to be having the Wine and Food Fest so.... I've researched that and found the 3 most expensive things you can get as a snack on the meal plan

Oh, and a sit down breakfast, either the Character breakfast at the Contemporary Resort and/or the pineapple/macadamia nut pancakes and Tonga toast at the Kona Cafe at the Poly Resort.

Makes me drool just to think of all the food I'm going to eat!

I'm also thinking about the water parks. I've never, ever been to either of them and would love to have some pictures for the Where in the World thread

Oh and Princess, I've been wanting to tell you, that picture of your DS running down Main St. toward The Castle is my new "happy place" picture! I don't run anymore but, that's what I feel like in my dreams!

I've had the lamb shank at Kouzinna and it was delicious!!!
Artist Point is very good, and very expensive. I love the way they prepare salmon, and I've had excellent sea scallops there as well! I don't know if they still have the berry cobbler for dessert, it was outstanding!

We sometimes go over to the Poly to Kona for breakfast, and we do share the Tonga Toast, and another breakfast entree.

I hope you get the plan you're hoping for. Would love to overlap a few days with you!

I think a few people are waiting on free dining.

I've been wondering about Kona Cafe. We've eaten at Chef Mickey's before and I think we might prefer something different. Ohana's is an option but I think we liked Tusker House.

I haven't been to Artist Point. I've eaten mostly in the Parks and at the resorts we've stayed at. I'm not sure I'm going to get out to a lot more on this trip. I suspect that when we get to WDW, the boys will want to just take it easy.

Glad you like that picture of my DS. It is one of my favourite happy places too. In retrospect, Hong Kong was a really nice trip.

I'm looking forward to F&W and hope to have a few grazing meals round Epcot this trip.

I've eaten at Kouzzina and Be Our Guest for lunch. I would go back to Kouzzina as there are a lot of other things there I would like to try, especially the lamb burger!

Be Our Guest, it was OK, nothing spectacular, but I did like the soups. Those were pretty good.

The only breakfast place I have been to on the Monorail Loop is 1900 Park Fare. I would rate that as an excellent breakfast, can't speak for Chef Mickey's or Kona.

I'm thinking of an early breakfast at Tusker House.

We've already got the cookout, Brown Derby for Fantasmic!, the Wishes Cruise, Raglan Road and MNSSHP tentatively scheduled in; pending park hours.

I'm not sure I can fit anything else in; especially given that we wanna graze round Epcot for F&W.
