$200 to $225 a point min of 200 to 250 points $10 incentive :scared:

$155 per point, $15 discount for 160 point purchase, $140 per point.

140 a point, net of discount. This will be the lowest price possible direct with incentives for minimum purchase amount.

Will be a all time record for starting price at new resort, will blow Bay lake tower way out of the water which if I recall was slightly lower then 90/pt.

50pt increase...wow

I agree. :cool1:

I'm seriously considering buying...are you?

My expectations are $140, but will not be surprised it its as low as $120. Anything over $160 and I'll pass.

I'm also thinking we should expect some point increases over the BLT chart. I would like enough for a week stay 1BR in Dec - so total cost 35-45K?

Although, I can see the family arguing for Beach Club instead...I'm waiting for the pricing and point chart to start the conversation...

...I expect to lose as we already have BLT for a MK resort, the fam wants an EP/HS resort...

$199 per point, $9 discount for more than 160 points.
Already a member doing an add-on, $185 per point up to 100 points, more than that $175 per point.

I'm hoping to buy...but won't spend $180 or more, I am not sure I would buy at "my" price, $175. Maybe I should just use our points at GF now, while I can.;)

At $140, we probably will buy. My gut feeling is that is reasonable. Anything over is hard to justify. We have had BWV points for over a decade, and honestly I think it is the best overall place to own. You get the cheaper standard view villas or the fantastic Boardwalk view. Garden/pool view is still a good option and can be had most of the year before the 7 month window hits. And in the end, we should be able to book GFV at the 7 month window with these points that we got a lot a value out of. So I won't be completely heartbroken if we don't get in this time - there will be resales available within a few years.

I agree with this.

I do think that Disney will price it at higher than $140 (net after discounts), but we won't go for it if its more than $140/pt. Rack rates are not a good justification for us, since there are discounts often (especially w/AP). IMO rack rates seem to be there in order for them to justify DVC direct costs.

If we don't get in now, we'll buy it resale in a few years. And frankly I wouldn't care if they put more resale restrictions in by that time. If I buy GFV resale, that's all I would use it for anyway.

We're going on a cruise soon, so I'm hoping GFV debuts closer to the time we cruise so that it's "cheapest" when it comes out, especially if they do some OBC cruise incentives with it. If they give us more than the standard offer on the cruise, that might just push us over the edge to buy.

$145
-Some sort of founder's reward such as a tapestry with your name if you buy 160 points or more.
-$500 visa gift card for 100 points or more.

195.

20$. Disc and 2 yrs of AP with 250 points
20$ disc with 180 points plus 500$ gift card
10$ disc with 100$ points.

I also think even the cheapest studio in value season will be 28 a night.

I think this will be the most expensive place to buy and with the limited inventory they can hold their ground on price.

I say $155 with some sort of ticket or closing credit incentive for over 200 pts and then the price will rise quickly to nearly $200.

I say 150 a point but the points needed to secure a room will be 20% more than BLT.
