On way to accountant for taxes (hate this), and will try to come back later. But just had to say we are at 99...double digits...for girls trip in June. This also means the wedding is only 107 days away.:eek:

:love::banana::banana::banana:
BOO for taxes :surfweb:

I have NEVER gotten the cowboy scene in GMR, so I'm jealous! Lucky you though.

SciFi looks like fun, and is another I've never been to either. Someday!

It was the first time in years and it was a nice change of pace. Sci Fi is fun and I think one that you would really enjoy.

Looks like they strategically placed Grandpa and Grandma sitting behind you to make sure those middle seat occupants were behaving, too! ;)

Yes, I guess after all of our smooching pictures, you are right. :rotfl2:

I feel the same way when I read some DIS reports. People who have been many times have not gone to a popular restaurant or seen a certain show. I am always a bit surprised at that. Hope she loved Fantasmic!

There are still several restaurants we've not tried...some due to the type of food they serve and others because we've just never fit them in. But this year we are trying two new ones...Ohana for dinner and Grand Floridian Cafe for breakfast. Des LOVED Fantasmic.

Oh, Kathy - you just made my day..even tomorrow! I love these photos...all my favorite places! The cowboy is my favorite because John Wayne reminds me of my dad...I do enjoy both sides though. My last few trips no one wanted to do the Great Movie Ride, but I am going beg and plead if necessary next time! ;)

My dad LOVED John Wayne and I remember sitting in his lap watching the movies with him....gosh, I miss him. They better do it with you.

Isn't the ambiance at Sci Fi fabulous? Another favorite - I think Rosie and I make just have to make an ADR for our Cruise trip.

It's so fun in there. You and Rosie should made an ADR.

Then the Christmas Shop and snow....I just love this area of HS...

I do too.

I enjoyed these updates so much I got all teary. Fabulous photos, every one! You are all so photogenic!

Christine, thank you...you are very sweet.

I have made some progress. :goodvibes I loved the surprise. You got him good! I also want to visit MCO. Loved the Mickey decor. Do they have a Disney store in there? Our airport is being expended right now. I hope they will start offering direct flights to FL before too long. Right now you have to go to NYC then fly back. Um, that's nuts. I've never flown in a commercial airplane so I need to try it just for that reason.

Hi, Tammy. The surprise was so much fun and we did get him good. After this, I don't think I'll ever be able to pull one over on him again. Yes, there are two Disney stores at MCO...one in each terminal. You've never flown commercially? Wow!

I always enjoy the hat pics, as you know, that's something we love to do too. It makes for the best vacation pictures.

I've been loving seeing your pictures of the kids from the past trips.

I am on the Christmas update where you are visiting family right now. This pic caught my eye. What is the thing on the fireplace that looks like the Brady Bunch show intro? That's so cute. Very good picture of you guys too.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb136/Luvwrestling/Cristmas 2012/MeandDes.png

I'm not sure what it is; we were at my sister-in-law's; I'll have to ask her.

Love the 60th frame too! That is awesome!

Thank you.

I have been on this attraction at least a half dozen times and have never seen the cowboy. I guess there are two things now I have not seen in WDW: The moving version of the Yeti on EE and now the Cowboy on the Great Movie Ride.:goodvibes

I've not seen the moving Yeti, so I'm only one up on you.

Looks like y'all had a good lunch! I keep saying I'm going to book Sci-Fi one of these days. I think I just keep getting worried that it'll be too dark for me. I like lots of light when I eat. I know, I'm weird. :lmao:

Hope the rain stopped before y'all went back to the park!

Lunch was fun and good...never had a bad meal there. It's not too dark...there are lights in the car.

Fun update and I love the picture of the 4 of you in your Sci Fi car!

Alisha does look awfully comfy with that baby

A football :lmao:

Thank you, Cynthia. Yes, she does, doesn't she? She's going to be a great mom.....SOME DAY!

Yes, my son is one in a million. :lmao:

Love the Great Movie Ride (there's not much at Disney I don't love)! Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies too. I was a bit of a hyper child and that movie was the only one I would sit still for. I think it was played a lot in my house when I was little. Are you excited for the new movie? I know I am.

I'm not so sure I want to see the new movie. I really hate when they mess with certain originals (kind of like when they made Miracle on 34th Street into color and a new cast!).

I haven't been to Sci Fi since 2011. I do like eating there and actually had a reservation for this upcoming week. I ended up cancelling it because it just didn't fit into the rest of my schedule. Oh well, maybe next time.

You have plenty of trips...maybe for your January trip?

Those Darth Maul hats are hysterical. I'm not sure if they are supposed to be Darth Maul or Darth Duck?

I'm not either...but they sure looked cute in them.

You had a LOT more decorations then when we went!!! I love the snowman and snow drifts!
LOVE sci-fi restaurant! one of my favorites!!! your pictures came out great from the GMR!!!
Nothing beats the hat pictures!!!

That snowman and snowdrift is always by the Chirstmas shop at DHS. I really like Sci Fi too...Mark had me book it again for August.
I'm glad you are still enjoying the hat pictures.

:flower3: Flower and Garden has the food this year too :thumbsup2

Alisha IS a natural!! :goodvibes and Mark...:rotfl: my hubs is a baby hog he would've snatched the little peanut right up..yet he's had MUCH practice :p

I heard that F&W was going to be at F&G this year. We will see if we have enough time to do flowers and food; I'd really like to concentrate on the flowers this trip.

Mark is a character...I swear we dropped him on his head when he was born. Yes, I would imagine your DH has a lot of practice with your adorable brood.

Except you must not, under any circumstances, fumble the baby!

I'll be sure to tell him no fumbling or he is penalized.

Needed some quality air-conditioning, huh?:confused3

It's not a bad attraction....just needs an overhaul.

:eek::faint:

Trust me, we've been there a number of times when there was a 30 minute wait.

Yay! Cross that one off the list.

I didn't think it would ever happen again.

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Someone has to watch the young lovebirds.

::yes::

Best onion rings in all of Disney.

Interesting how different the experiences are. I'd take 50's PT every time. And who knows where Mary Ellen will have to go in order to get another cruddy veggie burger. :rotfl2::rotfl:

It is funny how different the experiences can be. I doubt we'll ever go back to 50's PT and I know we will definitely NEVER go back to WCC.

:woohoo:

And he was nice enough and shared with us.

Glad to see the hat pictures are still going strong!:thumbsup2

Would never let you down my friend.

yay for finally getting the cowboy version on TGMR!!!!!!

I was beginning to really think they got rid of it.

yum, lunch looks good! we've always had good food and service there! so if you were making sure the kids behaved, who was watching you and Mark :rotfl::rotfl: you two look mighty cozy there!

I guess from what a previous poster said, the older couple behind us. ;)

so what did you buy at the christmas shop :confused3

I bought a door hanger and a couple of ornaments.

think you went back to the resort and maybe some swimming if the rain let up!

Good thought...but that was not it.

Congratulations!!! :thumbsup2

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Pretty good assessment. I know it gets a lot of hate, but I love it for what it is. :thumbsup2

Us too. :)

Well darn I was so far behind..... but I would have said ....

EPCOT and POP so :cheer2:

I knew that and it is why I picked those two. ;)

For POP - either the 50's section or the 80/90's section is close to the parking lot.

I made the mistake of requesting and getting the 70's when I had the car and as many times as I have stayed at POP finding the parking lot was a bit of a challenge.

You can also "request" a king bed ( not a separate category) They are limited but you can try if you wish.

I'm not worried about what section since it is only one night; if it were a longer period of time, I'd certainly request something close to parking. Wait...let's be honest...if it were a longer period of time, I wouldn't be staying there. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Kathy I love Sci Fi too !! The Oreo Cookie Milkshake is my favorite ,:thumbsup2Carol was impressed when we went in October so it is on the list agin !! I think the guys really like it !! Christine will not have to twist my arm to go on GMR I love it , one year Kyle and I went on it 5 times one day !! His story is he did it for me:rolleyes1:rotfl2:Yea Right !!!:rotfl2:

Rosie, on your recommendation I am going to have one of those milkshakes in August. Kyle is a sweet boy!

Pat that is a Marv comment if ever I heard one !!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

It sure is, Rosie, it sure is.

I agree 70's isn't my favorite section I like the 50's or 60's !!!

Any section will do for one night. But the 50's would be good...it would fit our "era."

Another great update!! Everything at Sci-Fi looks so good!! We had the burgers and onion rings when we were there in 2009 and the atmosphere was just very cool. The kids loved sitting in the car and watching the clips. Fun restaurant!

Isn't it great? And I think it is the ONE place boys enjoy more than girls.

First off--:lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc The Great Movie Ride! AND, :woohoo: for getting to see the cowboy scene!

If I hadn't gotten it, I would have begun to think anyone who said they had was telling a little fib.

 I couldn't help but wonder, who watched you and Mark?

As it has been determined above, the older couple were hired to watch us smoochers.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Maybe we have been hanging around the same threads too much... :rotfl2:

Or because you live in the same area? ;)

I like the 60's. But the 60's and 70's are just too far from the parking lot if you have a car. 60's is perfect is you don't have a car.

The 70's is a bit more confusing but the 60 's is actually my favorite by the Hippy Dippy pool.

No swimming for us...we will have to do Epcot from rope drop to close to get all of the F&G stuff in I'm sure.

Finally caught up!! I think I originally posted on page 14 or something...time flies when you're reading an awesome TR!!

Welcome back....it's good to see you again.

-I love all your PP pictures!

Thank you.

- I put on every hat and pair of ears in every store...the DBF can't stand it!:rotfl:

Tell your DBF to get with the program. :lmao::lmao:

- I MUST try the Japanese restaurant you went to...ADR for my next trip WILL BE THERE

It was very good...we really enjoyed it.

-My other ADR will hopefully be at Be Our Guest. It looks so beautiful in there

They did an A+ job on Be Our Guest...it is stunning.

-OK...now...maybe I am crazy or I fall asleep every time I ride the Great Movie Ride, but HOLY COW-BOY! I have never seen a cowboy nor have I ever seen anything set on fire...I am determined to see this twist on the ride

We've not seen the cowboy since our kids were MUCH younger...and they are 27 and almost 25 now.

I hope you are safe and warm in the midst of WS Rockey. I know down here in Normal the roads were terrible, and I saw on the radar that Elgin (where my parents live) was also yucky.

All I can say is I am officially done with winter. I am tired of snow, be it flurries or WS Rockey; I'm tired of grey skies, rain, etc. I need some sunshine and I bet you do too.

Thanks for making my half-snow-day so enjoyable as I got caught up on your TR!:coffee:

Thank you for coming back and catching up. :goodvibes

Catching up here...

:wave2: Molly.

I'm with Andy and Des, no WAY would I would be getting up at that ungodly hour on vacation! I am not a morning person, more of a night owl actually.

I love having breakfast early and making rope drop. I used to be a night owl...then I got old.

Kona breakfast is one of my absolute favorites! It never disappoints! Love all of the MK photopass pics, especially the sassy one of you with fairy wings!!!!!!:thumbsup2

We love Kona too and are going again in August. I'm glad you liked my "sassy" picture.

Oooh, the Little Mermaid ride looks awesome! Can't wait to ride this when we go back to Disney. The theming looks fantastic.

They really did a great job with it.

Super cute pics of Andy and Des too with Mickey and in front of the castle.:goodvibes

They are a cute couple. :)

Storybook Circus looks fabulous! Again, amazing theming going on there. So, is this a "Grumpy" reference here....Grumpy imitating Grumpy? Too funny!
Day3SaturdayDecember8096.jpg

If the shoe fits.....

Love all the crazy hat pics you guys took while waiting for the kids. You all are like a bunch of wild teenagers! I think you and Nicki must be a bad influence on your poor DH's...

Well, when you reach our age, you need to do something to get back that craziness. :)

The Peoplemover is seriously one of my favorite things to do at MK, I love it! Nice tat also Kat!

I love it too...so nice for a rest the feet type of ride; I think I need to get another tattoo when we are there (but I won't get one in June for the wedding; but then again, maybe I will.

Ugh, Space Mountain does not agree with me either! Last time we rode and I swear I dislodged my intestines and relocated a couple of internal organs. Too jerky and I'm so tense when I ride it because I'm trying to brace for whichever drop, curve or turn is coming.:lmao:

Nope...doesn't agree with me either; I get a major headache. And to be stressed on it like you is just as bad.

Ok, that caught me up to day 4! I'll be back to fininsh up, promise sweet Kathy.:flower3:

You are doing great with catching up.

Yay for double digits!!! I hear you on the tax time. Hate it. Ours aren't even difficult really. It's just the whole idea of getting everything together and making the appointment to go have it done.
I was trying to remember and I don't think we have ever gotten the cowboy scene on GMR.

I can't believe the trip is in double digits. As much as I can't wait for it to get here, it means the wedding is getting here. Oh my!

I try to collect the tax stuff all year, but it truly is a pain. And then we have the wait for 10 days until we see our figures. :scared:

I think you chose wisely for POP and Epcot. I probably would try to squeeze DHS in the morning solely for a ride on TSM  then grab a boat ride on over to Epcot. That's only because I forever am trying to squeeze the most out of every minute as if I'll never go back. Enjoy your day at FandG.

I'd love to squeeze in DHS in the mroning for TSM, but since it's only one day, I think I can wait until June with the girls.

DHS........do I know you or what??? For whatever reason I am not as big on the Christmas decorations at DHS compared to the other parks, but the Osborne Lights sure make up for it!!! :goodvibes

See, I thought the Studios did a very nice job. But then we didn't get to AK so I don't know how theirs were. And I didn't think Epcot was all that much better.

I'm with Des and Mark on this one........ :thumbsup2

You, Mark and Des (and half the population) can have R&R; I'll stick with my TOT!

:woohoo: on extra DISmeets at Disney! And even though there isn't a picture, I guess I will give you a pass on the rule and believe it still happened!!!

Yes, I've had a couple DISMeets now that I didn't even mention because I have no pictures to prove it.

Yeah, I would love to have some of the pictures there, but they sure are proud of them! :scared:

One of these days I will get one.

Des did another great job with her photography, and some pretty good efforts by everyone on the artwork. Certainly better than I would probably have done...........

She did awesome; I wonder if she'd let me borrow her camera for a week. :scared:

Hey, that's not a half bad idea..........or am I miscounting too??? :rotfl:

I have Andy's picture but for some reason it's not on my photobucket (but it is on FB). :confused3

I know I am a little late to this, but I would have to say Epcot for the park because there is enough to do there to fill up all your available time, and for you I would suggest staying at CSR because if you stay somewhere you aren't familiar with, you are going to want to tour your hotel and get pictures, which is going to take away from your limited time there. :scratchin

Hi, Pat, in disguise. :) Nope, no CSR this trip...too expensive.

How convenient........... :rolleyes2

Nope...turns out it was Andy's that is missing.

You mean I may have taken my last ever Disney trip??? :sad1:

At the rate you are going, YES!

Pop? Really? It's like I don't even know who you are anymore............. :guilty:

It was the cheapest option. Unless you got points you want to sell me for one night really cheap!

Isn't this a business trip? I would think the cost wouldn't matter...........sounds like a business expense to me??? :confused3 That is a very aggressive plan going from Pop to AKL for Boma, and then all the way to Epcot. Hope you have good bus karma so you don't lose too much of your F&G time.

Mark's company is CHEAP! And we have to keep the expenses down. As it is, we have to pay for most of our nights in Naples even though it's part of the trip because the last couple of days are our Nicki time. I'm not worried about the buses...we'll be driving with our rental car.

Sounds like solid reasoning to me...........

Of course it does...you are a guy!

Don't think I would be bragging about thinking like Rosie...... :sad2:

Stop it!

I guessed that was her picture. ;)

And why would you guess that?

Nice! There seems to be more of that lately!!!

So I'd heard often, but I was beginning to doubt it.

At your age I'm guessing you and Mark feel more comfortable in the rumble seat anyway............. :lmao:

Ha ha ha....funny man.

There is so much to do at Disney, it is very easy to find things you haven't done before. I still have a list that is much too long!!!

Us too...hope to get some of them off with four trips this year.

Now that sounds like something I would have done........... :thumbsup2

Pat's here again. :rotfl::rotfl:

Okay, so now I'M thinking like Rosie??? :faint:

Uh oh...trouble time.

:cheer2: for double digits!

we just have 2 days until DLR :cool1:

Thanks, Lisa. Are you on your way? Or is it tomorrow? I've forgotten.

I had to get caught up! I'm so jealous that you have a couple of trips to Disney coming up so soon. I think that you made a great choice of which park to visit. The Flower & Garden Festival is absolutely beautiful and I'm sure that the addition of the food booths will make it even more fun. As far as Pop goes, we toured the resort a few years ago and it has a fun vibe.

Very fun DHS updates! We have always enjoyed our meals at Sci-Fi even if, like you said, it's not fine dining. The atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Lisa, no worries...I had a lot of catching up to do on yours. And you'll be going again in two months.

Yes, one day in April, 6 days in June, a week in August and 5 days in December. I can't wait.

I'm getting really excited for F&G. I'm sure Pop will be fine.

The atmosphere definitely makes up for it. The atmosphere at Brown Derby is awesome...but I thought the food and service was terrible; I'll stick with Sci Fi since I know what to expect.

Yuck... just got done with that myself, this morning. It hurt pretty bad, but then I remembered to add DD as a dependent. Totally spaced on that one for a little bit. :rolleyes2 It still hurt, but not quite as bad. :crazy2:

Hate tax season; we won't have our figures until the end of next week, but I'm hoping for a refund like last year. Godo for you remembering DD, but sorry it was still bad. :(

My taxes are done and I di better than Judy, by claiming 1 of the girls !!! Are accountant figures every conceivable way and tells us which one between us we get the most back and then we split it , well actually I give her most of mine !!:rotfl2: As if it wern't for her letting me claim one I would get NADDA!!!:rotfl2: But this year again I am financing a newercar for Samantha or at last a good chunk of it .

Good for you, Rosie. It's good that you can claim one (although I'm not sure how the accountant gets away with that). These kids cost us forever!

FInally caught up! Between the snow storm and a virus I got I have been so far behind!

I'm sorry you got sick; I hope youa re feeling better.

First off, yay for being cancer free for 6 years! I wish you many more years of great health!

Thank you very much. :goodvibes

Love all the holiday photos! Makes me ready for christmas!

I like the photos too, but not ready for another Christmas just yet. ;)

I think for one night Pop will be ok. It is not my favorite hotel. I didn't care for the sheets on the bed, but I would not be opposed to staying there again in the future. I agree Epcot would be the park to visit. The flower festival is so pretty. I love all the topiaries! You will have a great time.

That's what I'm thinking....one night will be okay. We are staying at a Hampton and a Marriott so we'll have good beds there during the trip.

So many exciting things coming up for you so soon! You must be getting so excited for the wedding!

I cannot believe the wedding is 105 days away. I better get back to writing out those invites.

Great park and resort choices! F&G is so pretty!

Thanks, Shannon.

Lunch looks yummy, and yay for the cowboy scene!

About time someone I know...me....saw the cowboy scene. :rotfl2:

You know I'm loving the hat pics ;)

Yes, I know you are one of my biggest hat loving fans.

:cool1: on the double digits. I can now say I'm going to Disney this month! Holy cow I am going to WDW this month and I have nothing prepared! :crazy2: Hope all went well for tax time. I have to say I was happy when we walked out this time. :thumbsup2

I can now say I'm going next month. :) I can't believe you are going again this month. I'm so jealous. Taxes were painless...just the preparation...getting our stuff, each of the boys, my mother. Just a big headache. I'm glad you were happy when you walked out. I hope I'm happy when I get my email that ours are ready.

I love the head bands you and Des are wearing. Those are really cute. I would get some, but I get headaches from headbands.

I really liked those headbands; but I'm with you...I get a major headache from them.

I've finally caught up :thumbsup2
We must have riden the Great Movie Ride like 10 times and every time I have my fingers crossed for the cowboy side and never get it :sad1:
Love the pictures from Sci-Fi, the one in the car of you all together is great :goodvibes

:wave2:Linda. Someone suggested that you can maybe ask for it???? I don't know how they would do that though. I like that picture of the four of us too and I had that one blown up and chopped out our "chaperones" in the back. :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I hope to get an update or two done tonight or over the weekend. I think Mary is anxious for me to start my PTR.

105 days will evaporate!! What a glorious day it will be! :cloud9:

Kathy, I think the Grannie trip days might overlap with some of your December days! You know, Rosie and I (Janet too) would LOVE to see you and Mark, if you have time. We would do whatever we could to make it work. ::yes::

My dad LOVED John Wayne too - do you remember the movie "The High and the Mighty"? It doesn't come on often anymore, but now and then TCM will have it....oh, do I ever cry. I can hear my dad whistling the theme song...just like John Wayne did in the movie.

Kathy we all live together and I pay most of the bills sooo there is No problem with me claiming any or all of the kids !!!

YOU GOT THE COWBOY... it does exist...;) I've never had the cowboy...:sad2:

I'm glad that you had a good experience at the Sci Fi... It gets a lot of hate on the boards... I think it is great for what it is... a really well themed car hop/diner ... the burgers, shakes, fries and onion rings are all really good, the theming is fun and the sci fi clips are a hoot... David LOVES it... it's one of his favorite restaurants at Disney and he always asks for it...

Good for your overnight escape...:thumbsup2 a dinner at Yachtman, a breakfast at Boma & the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot... sounds like a win win win to me...:goodvibes

Speaking of Mary, I am back from vacation and all caught up! Didnt realize you did not enjoy your breakfast at Cape May-oops. I will make sure they put us in a good place! To bad about the food at WPE-it looked good. The girls also like Sci Fi. I am working on plans for June. Hurray!!!

We have also never seen Fantasmic......

105 days will evaporate!! What a glorious day it will be! :cloud9:

That's what I'm worried about. I have no idea where the last year has gone...it will be a week next Saturday that he popped the question.

Kathy, I think the Grannie trip days might overlap with some of your December days! You know, Rosie and I (Janet too) would LOVE to see you and Mark, if you have time. We would do whatever we could to make it work. ::yes::

I would love to meet you guys and we will figure something out.

My dad LOVED John Wayne too - do you remember the movie "The High and the Mighty"? It doesn't come on often anymore, but now and then TCM will have it....oh, do I ever cry. I can hear my dad whistling the theme song...just like John Wayne did in the movie.

I don't remember that one. I'll have to see if I can find it on one of the channels one day.

Kathy we all live together and I pay most of the bills sooo there is No problem with me claiming any or all of the kids !!!

That explains that. :)

YOU GOT THE COWBOY... it does exist...;) I've never had the cowboy...:sad2:

Yes, we got the Cowboy. It does exist. :rotfl2: Maybe your next trip you'll get it. :)

Sci Fi does get a lot of hate, but it is exactly what you said a car hop/diner and it fits the bill.

Good for your overnight escape...:thumbsup2 a dinner at Yachtman, a breakfast at Boma & the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot... sounds like a win win win to me...:goodvibes

It does sound perfect, doesn't it? :goodvibes

Hi there stranger. I've missed you. It was okay...it just wasn't as good as it used to be. But I can fill up with Mickey waffles and I'll be with you and the girls and MEK so that will be perfect.

I know the girls liked the atmosphere at Sci Fi; can't remember if they ate much.

We may have to rectify Fantasmic in June!

I really want to get the PTR started soon. I've got to come up with a title. Any ideas?

Using my scarce free time to catch up on all my threads !!Happy Saturday Kathy!!!

Happy Saturday, Rosie. I'm going to attempt an update now and then I am going for a massage and we are going to dinner with friends tonight; Andy will be at a bachelor party...heaven help his head tomorrow. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I am back...and ready to get caught up on dis!

I am so very glad to hear that your scans came out clean!!!! :cool1: 6 years!!!!

I am still kinda surprised at how TSM is still so hard to ride. We were not even able to get a fp this last trip.

I love that picture from the animation class. I need to see that movie still..so I don't know what her name is... but she is super cute.

You questions... Looks like you made your decision. Not that it matters... but I think Epcot would be a great choice due to Flower and Garden (we got to see a bit going up this last week) :goodvibes and Pop is a good value... and staying only one night, I think it will be perfect.

December102012Day5066_zpsc60091fd.jpg

I was very confused when we were there last week. See how people are going in the main door? Well, off to the side is another door under the covered walkway... they redid the queue so that you enter the building from the side and that front door.... it was closed.

So cool you got the cowboy version! I love that version...just cause the fire! :rotfl2:

Let me start this update off by saying I absolutely HATE the new Photobucket!

So we had just finished up some shopping, the skies opened up and we needed a break from the park. So we put on our ponchos, covered Des' purse and camera with plastic bags and headed to the bus stop. We no sooner got to the bus stop, and it stopped raining. But we were on a mission.

We hopped the bus and headed to Saratoga Springs. I love this little guy at the pool:

We walked through Saratoga Springs and saw this tree in the restaurant there:

And then followed Des' lead since she has stayed there in the past, and walked over to DTD and surrounding areas. Des needed to get something from her mom from one of the artsy stores on the West End.

Some photos as we walked:

All of that walking made us thirsty so we stopped to get an adult beverage.

Andy ordering:

And Des and I had the simply wonderful Bailey's Shake:

The boys sat and drank theirs while Des and I took off on our own to do some shopping with the plan to meet the boys at the main store at DTD.

I think Santa may have been in here:

Continued in next post

I hear ya on photo bucket. I cant even really get in to see my 12/11 trip pics. I made the mistake of uploading my pp pics (and there were WAY too many) and so now it takes too long for the entire album to load. (since there are almost 2k in pictures in it)

The baileys drink looks yummy. I was tempted to try it... but didn't cause I was trying to stay away from all boozes pre race.

Had to stop at Des' favorite store:

Then we saw these cute guys:

Our shopping complete, we headed to bus and went to the Coronado. Des needed a sweater and we wanted to drop off all of our purchases. We still had some time. We had great luck with the buses yet again and a bus was there to pick us up and within 15 minutes we were back at the CSR. We got off at the main building and the kids went to the room to drop off the packages while Mark and I waited.

The kids came back, and we decided to take a short taxi ride over to the Studios because we had just missed a bus.

Our first destination of the night would be here:

I have to stop here; I've got a couple of threads I have to catch up on, some laundry to finish and then I am off to go see "my" Edward and get a massage. :goodvibes

Up next, Des' first Fantasmic experience. Would she love it or hate it?

I love all of the Christmas decoration pictures in DTD that you took, as I took almost none!

Can't wait to hear how Des felt about Fantasmic!

And you know how much I hate the new Photobucket too, so I feel your pain. :headache:

I just love all of the Christmas decorations! I could really go for an afternoon of Disney shopping right now. Sounds perfect.

CSR looks so pretty. I guess it has to go on the list of places to stay.;)

I had no idea you could walk from Saratoga Spring to the Westside. I thought you could only get to the Marketplace from there.

Lots of great DTD pictures.
