What job would you be lousy at?

I'm sure there are alot for me but the first two that come to mind are...hair stylist and nurse. I admire both but could never be any good at either. The thought of touching a stranger's hair creeps me out. As for a nurse, the first sign of blood, guts or bodily excrement and I would pass out :faint:

There are nurse jobs that don't involve any of those things. You would have to get through school though.

I couldn't do any job where I just stood still and did the same thing over and over. Like a toll collector.

Of course, if I HAD to, I could do it.

It's recently become obvious to me that I would be a very unsuccessful interior designer!

Lol... I was going for an Asian Zen spa feeling room... I got more of an enchanted forest vibe. I thought I found the perfect shower curtain and my DD tells me she loves the Cat and the Hat shower curtain.

What I see in my mind's eye never comes out that way!

What the heck are you doing in your picture?:rotfl:

I have yet to find a job I *wouldn't* be lousy at.
Well, I did have a good run in shoe sales as a teenager.;)

Funny enough I decided after college to totally change directions and be a flight attendant. American Airlines flew me to Dallas to interview. Luckily I didn't get the job; I figured out I was deathly afraid to fly. I got tanked on the return flight because I was scared to death! I was fortunate I didn't get kicked off!!:faint:

Anything that had to do with blood or graphic injuries. A hockey player on our team recently got his leg sliced open and he was in danger of dying on the ice. The newspaper had an article that went into details of the injury. I had to stop reading it because I was getting lightheaded.

A nurse or doctor because band aids are beyond disgusting to me. Even typing that word makes me feel squicky inside, and when I read it anywhere I feel sick. Groooosssss!
ETA, blood doesn't bother me-go figure. LOL

Other than that, I would make a horrible salesperson, not someone at like Macy's, but someone who has to sell sell sell.
I used to work for a bank and we had to sell a certain number of accounts per month. Say things like Mrs. Jones, I noticed you keep a large balance in your checking account, let me show you how you can earn more money by putting some of your money into a CD. Ugh it was so awkward for me, I felt pushy and rude and hated it.
My father in law was a very successful salesman, he never gets embarrassed, never feels awkward, loves talking to people-a natural salesman-the opposite of me. LOL

I'd be a horrible accountant. I'd be an even more lousy podiatrist. And I'd be the WORST nurse in the world.

Also, anything outdoors. Because outside is dirty.

You'd be surprised, you do get used to it. The 1st time I saw a procedure (and it was minor, I really didn't see much), I got sick. Now I can see anything and it doesn't bother me.

An Opthamologist (sp). I think that is the eye dr that does surgeries. Just the idea of touching someone's eyeball skeeves me out.

A nurse. I can stand blood and things like that, but I don't do sick people very well who are very needed. Nurses need to have infinite patience, and I was not blessed with that.

Cook, chef, anyone who prepares food - you'd all die. So thank me now that I never cook for anyone else.

Bus driver - I don't have the patience. Well, if you gave me enough duct tape (just kidding! ;) )

I used to be a naturalist on a whale watch boat, but now I get seasick, so that is out too!

Sales. I used to work at Things Remembered and we had quotas each month on how much engraving we sold. I felt awful trying to convince people to buy more than they intended or put more words than looked right. (A locket that is intended for a monogram looks silly with "Penelope Anastasia" spelled out on it.)

When I had my own photography business, I did great with pics, but lousy with sales. People would say "oo we like them all, but can only afford to get 3" or whatever. I'd have to restrain myself from saying just take them all! That was not the right business for me.

Any sort of driver, taxi, truck, bus, etc. I hate driving, highway driving in particular.

Kindergarten teacher or day care worker. I find little kids extremely boring.

Housewife.

I'm pinching Will Smith's nose....why? He was cool with it:rotfl: Have you considered selling used camels? :confused3:rotfl:

He's pretty relaxed about that kind of thing.

Um...I haven't been around a camel for 6 years.

I'll let you know how hairdressing goes.

(Not for camels...)
