I know, and certainly for a good cause. Just seems the first time I finally get to see these folks in person, I'd like it to be in their usual state. Kind of like going to Disney the first time and seeing the birthday cake castle.

Well, it depends on when you're coming. Julie will only wear it on Saturday if we get to $2500 by Tuesday of next week.

I just registered last night under thekylers for 2 tickets to Saturday's Event. I printed out my tickets, but it says that it is for Friday night 6PM. Is this ticket still ok?

Melissa- I got your registrations for Saturday today- you are all set!

Neal- I have your registration for Friday- just came through today. This tickets should say Friday night.
Your Saturday tickets should be for Saturday. You signed up for those before I even added the Friday night option.

I looked at the app and cannot see why this would be happening. BUT- let me assure EVERYONE that if you have signed up and paid, we will have a master list at each event. Even if you forget your paper tickets, we will have you on the list.

Your Friday night tickets should say
"Friday Night Game Night
Meet & Greet, Bunco and music trivia
Snacks will be served. Bring your own non-alcoholic beverages."

Even though you may have already registered- stay subscribed to this thread and watch- all the important updates and announcement will be here.

TODAY is the LAST DAY to register early and get 10 auction tickets.

Starting tomorrow 5 tickets will come with your registration.
You can certainly still register for the event- you'll just miss out on the 5 "free" tickets.
Auction tickets will be available for sale at the event. There will be so many baskets and items available- you will want to buy more tickets when you arrive!

Just a reminder- registration is now open for Friday night & Sunday breakfast.
Friday night is at the Hilton and the fee is only $10 per person. We will have games, time to meet other DISers and snacks from 7-10pm. Then you're just an elevator's ride away from a good night's sleep before the BIG EVENT on Saturday!

There is a separate link for the Hilton hotel reservation on Page 1 of this thread. No deposit is required and we have obtained a terrific rate for our event. So get your room now while they last!

On Sunday, we are gathering at a local DINER for a great breakfast and then shopping (lots of fun options here for anyone interested) Diners are a great Jersey tradition- and a meal in a diner is a "MUST DO" when visiting our great state!
Registration is just for a head count so we can let them know how many of us are coming. You can order whatever you want that morning- everyone will have their own check.

You can also order your LIME GREEN meet shirt in the same link. These are a nice heavy weight 100% pre-shrunk cotton. They come in a "generous" MENS' sized t-shirt. Please order accordingly. I think they are a great value at $15. (I think the order page says up to 3XL, but I can actually get up to 5X- just let me know)

We are so looking forward to having everyone come to NJ and get together to meet new DISers, see a Podcast recording and meet the Team and raise money for one of the best charities out there- Give Kids the World.

the last NJ DIS meet I atteneded was the one I created and hosted quite a few years ago at the Cherry Hill mall.

Can't wait to attend, this is way bigger and better then my simple meet at a mall was.
