I dont mind sharing at all. You guys got me scared so I went to look at my sheet that they sent me and I this is what I am paying before taxes on each night:

Sept 21st (Saturday) $274.30
Sept 22nd-27th(Monday thru Thursday) $293.80

After looking at this sheet that they sent me in the mail it does not say CL BUT When I look at it online it says CL. Should I call :confused3

Okay All - sorry for the crazy numbers. Disney has all my paperwork jazzed up, and that was the numbers I was going off of. I am not getting that great of a deal:crazy2: Sorry for all that. Good thing I keep a budget spreadsheet on my computer and looked at that. I am paying with tax $418.00 a night. I guess I was wishing for somepixiedust: for the good old days when prices were alot lower.

Well the gv cl rate at that time as listed on mousesavers is $566/ night. If you got it for $274, thats more than 50%! A regular gv room is 422, which if i am calculating it right would be about 35% off with tax. I think you have a regular room not cl......i would defintely call asap!

The availability of water concerns me a bit (some reports of NO water available, plastic or glass). Is this something I can contact the IPO about?

I have the same concern. We will be at BC in May. Will there be water available to take with us to the parks? Will they have pitchers of water that I can use to fill my reusable water bottle with? I don't want to spend tons of money buying bottles of water everyday.

When we stayed CL at CR, they gave us big, glass bottles of water to keep in our room/fill our reusable water bottle.

The recent reports on the BC thread have all said there is water available you just have to ask for it.

Gosh now I'm thinking maybe my BC CL rate wasn't that great after all if people are doing that well with Poly. They had me all confused on my numbers too as on my receipt it showed a rate that does not add up to the total even with tax added. But I think what happened is they added in the extra adult after the discounted rate and just didn't show it anywhere. I was actually upset because my initial quote was lower and then I called back 2 hours later to book and it was higher. Now I'm realizing it was the same difference as on the receipt, the amount for the 3rd adult.

Anyhow, the rate before the adult add on is 404 for the weekend and 367 for the weekday for a standard view CL room at BC 3rd week of May. That's using the AP discount. I assume short of being military there is no way to do better than that?

That's an amazing rate -- I've never been able to get it that low, but then like I said in my post, we tend to travel at peak season, so I'm not sure what's normal for low-season. And I've stayed LVCL, not GLCL, so that may make some of the difference. But no matter the season, that is a really low rate for a CL room at the Poly -- Good for you! :) If I could get a rate like that, I'd be booking a room there... ;)

Just want to add that during most of the summer, deluxes are cheaper (value season) and with discounts, you can absolutely get CL under $400, there's no way I would pay more...:scared:

Last summer, we paid $249/night (weeknights) and $273/night (weekends) for CL at WL.

For our upcoming April trip, we are at $339/night (weeknights) and $373/night (weekends) for our YC CL stay.

To contrast, we were booked Poly CL for April and those rates were $379/night (weeknights) and $405/night (weekends)....that extra $5 made me shy away...:rotfl2:

We do have 40% discount, but if you get even 30-35% during summer, you'd have a pretty decent rate. :thumbsup2

So we had BWI SV booked for our anniversary April 21-26.

We got terrific flights today and are now going 4/22-4/26 but still have the same amount of time at parkis due to early/late flights.

So with the savings on 4 nights opposed to 5 i wanted to upgrade to BWI CL well it wasn't available with my BB rate so i took YC SV and requested a balcony!

Please Please tell me about CL at the YC!

Also, this is our 1st experience with ME, if we land at 9:55Am what time would you say we would get to resort?

thanks

That's a great rate compared to rack! Looks like 35% off, which if I could get, I would book today :thumbsup2

Awesome-

Say Hi if you see us. It's just Dh and I! We will be the ones with the smiles planted on our faces!!:cool1:

Our "babies" are 21, 19 and 12...this is our 1st trip without them since 1989.

Too funny! :rotfl:

It will be awhile before we get a Disney trip to ourselves...:cutie:
Luckily we got in a few before the kids came. :bitelip:

We stayed YC CL a few times, the latest was last June. I love the YC -- it's quieter than the BC but has the same great pool and location.

CL was nice. They had the "standard" breakfast snacks and oatmeal, some swedish fish and snacks in the afternoon, etc. The CMs at the desks were very nice and friendly. The YC CL rooms are all on the 5th floor -- we asked to be close to the lounge (and elevators) since there are long hallways. I think most, if not all, of the rooms have balconies.

I haven't used ME, though, so I can't comment on that.

Thanks! I did request a balcony, close to lounge sounds good too! We are super excited about our adult only trip! It's also the end of tax season for my DH so he is counting down the days. The club level planning staff took care of ME for me.

We've used ME a few times and I really don't have any complaints about it. It might take you 10 to 15 minutes to get to the ME check in and another 10 to 15 minutes before they load you on a bus. Then another 10 to 15 minutes before the bus leaves. You should be at the resort in about 2 hours or less. They show a nice video while you're on the bus ride. One of our favorite Disney traditions.:)
