Wanna See an Autograph Book? Another one to share. 2/24/13 Update

SORRY guys!! I totally forgot to post my new pics and of course got all caught up in our January trip. I will try to find the new pics and post.

Cannot wait to see the next book! Great job!

Thanks!

Those pages are so wonderful!

Thank you!

Beautiful pages! Thank you for sharing!

Thanks to you too!!

Your pages are beautiful. I am working on a book for my DD's now and was going to go digital but after looking at your pages you make me want to scrapbook. I just don't know how you find the time to do all the details to those pages. :)

It was definitely a labor of love. Now it seems I only get to scrapbook if I book a weekend Crop! But I do want to get back to it more. Next year my youngest is in 3 day preschool so I'm already looking forward to the extra days!!

I do know that my daughters love feeling the stickers and embellishments, so I still do both digital (vacation photobooks) and regular (paper) scrapbooks for Autograph books and their baby books.

ok sooo did I totally miss the pictures? There were no pictures on that first page. :(

Sorry apparently my work computer is blocking the pics. I'll have to try when I get home.

Hope you found them!

Marshay,
What size scrapbooking paper did you use for all of the pages. It looked like 12 x 12, but i wasn't sure. I think they are beautifull. You have inspired me to make a book! I found stickers @ joanns, but I will look online to see if I can find a better selection. Thanks! I hope you get your other pics up soon!:thumbsup2

I used an 8x8 album for both Autograph books. I also made an interactive Disney book for the plane in 2007 and a Disney ABC book in 2008. They are really cool too. All of them were 8x8 which I find is a good size for the kids.

I do 12x12 for their baby albums.

So here is the start of Elizabeth's Autograph book. I changed it up so her book will actually have two (or more) characters on one page. Rachel's book has just gotten to be enormously big -- beautiful, but too big to take into the parks.

So with Elizabeth's book, I just have the sticker, space to sign and some embellishments. However, I do plan to put a very small (like 2x2") photo 'somewhere' on the page if we got a good photo to share. I"m sure she will like to see herself with the character.

I may have to only paste the photo on one side so that it can be lifted up to see the rest of the autograph underneath. I haven't started on the photo yet.

These are the pictures of the pages I took prior to our trip, so no autographs.

From bottom: Rapunzel, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty and Ariel. These are 3 dimensional stickers which Elizabeth loves to touch! I kept it simple.

From bottom:

Snow White, Belle, Pocohantas and Cinderella.

I used a shimmery yellow (not sure if you can tell in the badly lit photo-sorry!), the 3D stickers and a silver sparkly ribbon to hide where the two pages join together.

Again, a simple design but Elie liked it (and that's all that counts!);)

The top is Flik and Atta from It's a Bug's Life and I thought this page was cute. The bottom matches up Tiana and Mulan and is my favorite Princess page for Elizabeth.

Lastly, I wanted to combine the characters for Toy Story together, since some of them sign and others do not. And I thought why not just make one big page?

Then Daisy and Donald of course had to go together on their own page.

As you can see I have greatly scaled back my designs for this book. I did it two-fold: 1) I don't have a lot of time...got more involved in volunteering at my church, at DD7's school and with Girl Scouts and 2) I ran out of stickers, esp the smaller ones now that I am putting two characters on a page.

So when the craft stores put Disney stickers on sale again at 40 or 50% off, then I'll go back and buy a lot in the right size for this book.

And I hope to work on her autograph book some more this summer prior to our Nov/Dec trip. I'll try to get them both in summer day camp for the same week and use that time to devote to catching up on scrapbooking!! That sounds soooo wonderful to me!

Thanks for looking!!:goodvibes

I like the new design! Especially the big page for Toystory Characters. That will be fun! My bet is that Buzz Lightyear will try to make his the biggest. LOL

Very nice additions!!! :) It looks great!!

Thank you! I really want to get some more, like Mickey and Minnie! That will be a fun page to do.

Okay, I have a question about your scrapbook autograph books. Do you intend to see all these characters on your next trip? What if you miss one? Do you leave that page blank? Fill it in next time? Omit it from your book? Add it to the next book? I have thought about making something like this, but I know that we will probably miss a character or too. What about the character you did not think of? (is that possible?! ha ha ha ha)

Yes, now that we got the main characters, I just bring along blank pieces of white paper and a variety of colors of sharpie markers and a small clipboard and we just have the characters sign that piece of paper.

Also, I've been working on my younger daughter's book and this time I decided to use multiple characters on the same page. I can't remember if I posted pics or not...will have to look.

But I did one page for all the Toy Story characters (big white piece of paper in middle with characters all around).

I added two princesses on one page that had complementary colors.

This way my book isn't as heavy and bulky. I had to stop taking my first daughter's book to the parks and just pull out the pages of characters we hadn't seen yet, along with blank cards.

I actually took a break from scrapbooking and your email is a great reminder for me to get back to it for our December trip!! So thanks!:goodvibes

Yes, I see I did post the latest pages showing 2 characters on one page.

I can either decide to post a small picture with autograph or just use the autograph.
