Pretty sure you can book the full cruise pass online in your reservation area. I do know that the one-day pass is not typically offered onboard though, and you have to call Disney to add it to your reservation.

Full cruise Rainforest pass is not available in the spa section of the pre-booking window. You can only get that onboard. It does sell out so get it sooner rather than later.

The day pass can be pre-purchased by calling DCL (you will be charged now, unlike other spa services/excursions/Palo). It is also offered onboard, but only if the Rainforest is not full that day.

I also keep hearing about a day pass to the rainforest room at the Spa, and a pass that's good for the whole length of the trip. Does anyone know more about this? If they're offering it and/or how much it is?

The day pass is $15, unless prices have gone up recently. In 13 cruises we have never been told they are sold out and we could not get one. We have done the length of cruise pass a few times (went to spa first day to purchase) and really enjoy going daily to the Rainforest. I remember that the 7 day cruise pass came out to be paying for 6 days - so one day free if you actually used it every day. It is so relaxing! :goodvibesIt can get a little crowded at times, but we have never found it too crowded to stay and enjoy. You might have to wait a few minutes for a lounger to open up (and we always need two at a time since we are joined at the hip and do everything together ), but we just spend some time in the dry heat room until loungers open up. The only time we found an issue was when 2 CMs were cruising as guests and spent literally all day, every day on 2 of the loungers. They never got up that we could see! That left only 2 loungers for the rest of us to share. :sad2:

I would agree that full cruise pass needs to be purchased (and used!)first day, not because sell out from my experience, but because if you wait until day 2 or 3 or 4 you are wasting money to purchase for those days you missed.

DH and I were just discussing the "sold out" Rainforest passes and crowded spa....maybe this is on the new ships with twice as many people. ??? :confused3 We have only sailed the Magic and Wonder.

I tried to help with when they are doing Mickey's Island Jam. It's in really bad code for the dates.

:thumbsup2 Thanks!

Another thing, am I assuming right that the wine package for dinner does not have to be booked in advance, but can also be purchased on the first night on board? We are thinking about buying the 7-night package but would like to leave the decision until we are onboard.

We have only sailed on the Wonder and the pass sold out on both of our MR cruises: one in January and one in April.

Yes, the packages can be bought onboard. There is a pamphlet at each table and the servers will offer it to you the first night.

When I did the Rainforest room on the Dream I wasn't extremely impressed.

We sailed on the Carnival Magic the year before and the spa area on that ship is a lot nicer - more sauna/steam rooms, more loungers, hot tub is larger & not part of the view for the loungers which I think is nice - you feel a bit like you're on display in the Dream spa hot-tubs. I think Disney could have done better with this area of their ships. But it is what it is.

Tiff and I have a Couple's massage scheduled. Sure, it's expensive.... but it's our honeymoon! :)

Anywho, if anyone here has gotten a massage, do you get access to the Rainforest room with the massage?

If you can swing extra money for the spa villa for two, I would upgrade to that. On top of your couples' massage you get a private verandah with a hot tub and Roman bed, champagne... we did it on our honeymoon and it was AMAZING.

We were allowed into the Rainforest but I have heard conflicting reports about this being a guarantee. Honestly, after the villa the Rainforest was a letdown, ha.

I believe our Couple's Choice massage IS a Villa. We're excited!!!!

By the way, to add in to the games that people are bringing onboard, we're debating starting a rousing game of "BattleShots"!!!

(google it...) :)

Yup, Couple's Choice is a villa. You won't regret it! I'm hoping we can save up enough money to do it again this time. We have a slot booked but we might have to cancel it.

Okay, I guess we might want to limit that one to the 10.00 pm adult game sessions and leave it out of the family ones :thumbsup2

With this game maybe someone will need designated walker to their stateroom :) Sorry I couldn't resist to comment after reading game description :) LOL

Have they consistently given these to passengers on the recent PC crossings, too? .

Yes, that one was from our 2011 crossing, but I'm fairly certain we got one on the 2008 crossing as well.

Hello fellow travelers. I have enjoyed reading all the posts from the past couple weeks. I brief my wife on the highlights. She keeps saying,"I need a vacation" she is working 60 hours a week.

Welcome to all those who have joined in recently. A two week cruise for a honeymoon sounds awesome. 35 years ago our honeymoon was a night in a hotel and a week camping at the coast.

My yet to book list:
rental car in Florida, transfers in Miami and LA, and flight home from LA.

Kathy needs a vacation! That is too much work. :scared:

:lmao: Our honeymoon was one night in a motel (The Anchor Motel on Lincoln in Anaheim, room 8! :snooty:), one night on my sister's couch :sad2:and then Dennis left for VietNam. We have made up for it thru the last 46 years though!! :dance3:

I need to book a rental car in Florida also. Orlando to FLL. Maybe I should make that my project for today.
