Does the Wonder have the newer beds & bedding?

I did a quick search and nothing came back so I'm not sure this has been asked in awhile? :rotfl:

Does the Wonder currently have the newer, higher beds along with the newer mattresses and bedding like the Dream and Fantasy have? I thought I had read in a trip report somewhere the Magic did *not* but the Wonder had been replaced with the newer mattresses and bedding. I understand the Wonder will go through a refurb but she won't have that done until after we sail on her next year.

Just curious - it's my DH who fell absolutely in love with the beds on the Dream so I have time to break the news to him gently if the Wonder does not. It won't break the cruise for us, I mean we are going to Alaska but I'm sure it would be nice if they did. :cloud9:

If the Wonder has the older style beds, can you still store the suitcases under them?

Thanks in advance,
Heather

Not sure about the new bedding, but FYI we don't store anything under the beds anymore. On one of our cruises a stateroom had plumbing issues and there was a backup. Needless to say their items on the floor were wet and smelly. The floor of the closet sits higher, we store our luggage in there.

The Wonder has the newer bedding. I'm not sure about the new beds, but our suitcases fit perfectly underneath It. We had two large and two carryon size and they all fit. :)

YIKES!! :scared: Thanks for sharing your experience and suggestion. I had never heard that and good point! :)

Awesome!! It sounds like they do and the newer bedding like the Dream/Fantasy will thrill DH! You know, it's the small things in life... :cool1:

Thanks,
Heather

We were on deck 2 in December and I hope that wasn't the 'new' bedding. The bed could be separated into twins, and we did that, but my bed definitely had a sag to one side, and it was so bad I usually flipped around so my head was where the feet should be. I should have com plained but didn't. Also, the sofa was pretty broken in the springs area, although my daughter didn't have issues sleeping on it when flipped open.

I liked the Wonder, but did find most of the things in the staterooms old and needing an update. Cracked tiles (repaired but cracked), not enough plugs for wave phones and other electronics, the 'coffee table' broken so didn't go up and down. The sheets and pillows were fine, towels fine, but the furnishings old.

Thanks Nancy and I had to laugh at that :) Now I'm prepared and that's what I remember now - it's the new bedding, but not the new beds which is exactly why they are twin sized, not queen sized.

All they have is the new bedding. The beds are the same old ones.
Thanks - that's exactly what I just confirmed. Oh well - no worries, we will certainly sleep well I'm sure!

In the cat. 4-11 cabins they are twin size.

Thanks - that's exactly why I wasn't sure as I remember now reading about the twin beds and the mattresses not being like the Dream and Fantasy.

Thanks guys,
Heather
