How far in advance should I book?

We want to go on a cruise in April 2014. We want one of the main large rooms (I think there are only 8 on the ship)... how early should we book?

I can book Dec 2014 so I am guessing you should have no problem booking April 2014. Go online and check the dates and availablity of the room

A friend of mine has already booked her cruise for April 2014. If you want to make sure you get the room you want, I would book now.

I booked opening day for our May 2014 cruise on the Fantasy to lock in the prices and to make sure we got the room we wanted.

Book it as soon as you have the money for the deposit. If you have it now, book it today! The prices start at their lowest and go up from there (sometimes daily!). We decided we wanted to do this cruise a year ago. Back then, the same room was $3700. I've watched the price go up over this past 6-9 months. I just booked it last weekend for $4200. The next day it went up $100. Then $50 two days later.
