How long for a response from Dreams Unlimited?

Emailed them for a quote this morning, need to book a guarantee fairly quickly. Does it usually take them the 2 full days to get back to you? :)

No, it is usually within 12 hours or so. My agent with DU has 'office hours' of 5-10 pm, but she often contacts me outside those hours, on weekends, etc. It's just that she WILL be there during those hours. If you haven't heard from anyone by tomorrow morning, try again.

I agree. I usually get mine back same day. It really depends on how busy DCL is. Someone may have it, and if DCL is busy and it takes a while to get an answer from them,or even get in touch with them your kind of stuck.
 
within an hour or so. We have always heard back quickly. even going back and forth with them.

After emailing a couple times back and forth Starting Saturday (I think) I put in a quote yesterday and got an auto confirmation email right away and a generic response today. The one today said thanks for your request we will check it out with Disney and get back to you. I am new though so I'm sure existing clients get faster service. :)
 
We used them our first cruise no problems. This cruise we tried contacting them for weeks never got our quote! Even talked to someone here on the dis that worked there who was apologetic! Still never did get a response so we moved on. Not sure if once we were given to someone(that was nonrepsonsive) they would not let us speak to a different agent but either way that was a bad experience. Good luck! I think our second experience was not the norm.
 
No our agent gets back with us right away. :)

Do you have an agent?

If I email my TA at Dreams Unlimited, I would receive an email with a couple of hours.

However, if it is overnight, I will receive a response the next day.

As for calling in to speak with someone, it takes them 1 day to get back to me.

I really like our TA. Her name is Tracey Heinrichs.
 
For me, I emailed in October and still haven't heard back. I was to be getting an email when the 2014 rates came out. I since booked on my own.

It's been over two weeks and I never heard back from her. Needless to say my quote expired and I Moved on to another agency and got awesome service and a better OBC!
 
Wow! I always hear back from my agent within a couple of hours. Alot of times, I have emailed her late in the evening not expecting a response until the next day, but end up getting a response from her that evening. I'm sure they are busy right now with the rest of the 2014 itineraries being released and the wait may be longer than usual. :goodvibes

I had a response within 10mins and the booking all sorted for 2 cabins in less that 30mins and all from 5000 miles away. Thanks Kelsie.

We have used DU before also another couple of TA's, which I have paid in full however I have forgotten the name (not good)

I have it somewhere, just were I don't know.

try putting "new booking" in the subject line.;)

WHo did you use instead
 
I requested a quote on a Med cruise Tuesday - rec'd a generic thank you note stating they would get back to me with a quote...it is now day 3 and no quote...I am looking elsewhere now. In my opinion, this is not good customer service...the OBC is not worth it if you can't get good service.
