Well.....DH "cooked" tonight. He raided the cupboard and decided to open the packet of bean mix that was there. He chopped up some vegies and boiled it all up together. He added Miso to it.......and then whizzed it all up together.

It looked like concrete. It felt like concrete. I do not know what it tasted like but as I was heating it up, DS come up, took one look and flatly refused to eat it.



We ended up with take-away falafel for dinner.

I ended up making Mexican Casserole - again. I got two YAYs from the boys (who could eat it every night) and a groan of AGAIN? from DH. Oh well, can't please them all!

Tonight dinner is tuna salad , salad. We make tuna fish salad, then make a big nice salad and plop the tuna salad on top of it...

That sounds really good! I might have to make some tuna melts...

Cover pita bread with a thick layer of homemade tuna salad, top with fresh sliced tomatoes, and cover with shredded cheddar cheese. Melt in the oven & serve with a side of fresh fruit.

Unfortunately both sound nasty to me, the concrete and I do not like garbanzo beans, so I have not ever wanted a falafel. :

I like that too, but Fan has this weird way of making "tuna salad" so we rarely have it. She makes a salad. Puts a can of tuna on it. French dressing and then puts it all in a pita pocket. I'd ather have it your way.

Tonight we are having hot roast beef sandwiches. It will be the last of "the roast".
