Hello everyone! New to this site and planning out first trip to Disney on feb 15.. My husband and I are surprising our 5year old daughter for the first time to Disney.. Anyone stay at this hotel recently? Thoughts/ opinions? Likes or dislikes? How far from magic kingdom? Any info would def hl! Thanks!

Please note that there are 2 Embassy Suites LBV. You may want to specify which one you would like comments on.

You are probably thinking of the one at crossroads, just outside of DTD. Its a nice hotel, and we would gladly stay there again. very easy access to disney.

We are staying at the one in lake buena vista- the actual address is 8100 lake street in Orlando.

I know they seem to have a good reputation and I like the fact that they include breakfast and have an omlet station( this will help to save money before heading into the park)

We are staying here next month and would appreciate any recent information regarding shuttle service, advice on room locations, etc
Thanks! :wave2:

Hello! I really really enjoy this hotel.. We are currently here and are leaving Friday morning.. The hotel has rooms which when you walk into the lobby are what I call "inside"... They also have rooms which you have to go outside to get to. Luckily we are in the 5th floor in the inside area. It is very quiet and I really like it. This hit is very family oriented which I really like too. It is very clean and all the staff members are nice. The comp breakfast with omlet station is great and the food is always hiot and fresh. On the weekend the omlet line can get a little long but the line moves quickly. I rented a car so I don't have much info about shuttles for you I'm sorry. The pool was also very clean. Between 5:30-7:30 pm they also have a managers reception with free drinks. One thing we did do was during the managers reception they have snacks out ( popcorn, goldfish crackers and trail mix). We went to the local supermarket and bought some sandwhich bags.. We filled the bags up with the snacks to have with us while we went to the Disney parks.. It was great bc the snacks were free and they helped us save money at the parks :) but all in all the hotel is great I really enjoy it here. Hope this helps!

Also this hotel is very close to the Disney parks, downtown Disney and lots if places to eat.. Great location Id say about 5-10 minute drive to DD and about 15 tops to parks

I stayed there in November and enjoyed it. I've stayed at a number of Embassy Suites across the country and loved each one. The guy making the omelettes is hilarious. It's best to have your own transportation.

I did not use their transportation. It's been my observation that most off site hotels have fairly restrictive transportation when it comes to frequency. I find it more convenient to go to the parks at my own schedule with a rental car. I'm a band director- I actually had my band of 250 at the embassy suites and they were great!
