Made some ADR changes.

added 4/22 @1:00 Rainforest Cafe Animal Kingdom
4/23 cancelled Tokyo Dining and added Coral Reef @1:15
4/25 changed Spirit Of Aloha from the 5:15 show to the 8:00 show

We tried to get into rainforect cafe on April 30th and they were booked so we are going to Sanaa Dinner at 6:55 but the park closes at 6. Not sure what we are going to do for the 55 mins. Anyone have this issue before?

Been to the Coral Reef and lucked out with a table right up against the glass. Didn't even ask. Our waitress's name was Mullan.

Did anyone else watch the Kelly and Michael episode live from Disney just now? I'll have to admit, I teared up a bit. I can't wait to get there.

I caught the end of it and I have DVR the other shows this week so I won't miss them. I too, can't wait to go!

If you leave when the park closes, it will take all of that 55 minutes to get over to Sanaa and let them know you are there for your reservation.....trust me. Having that 55 minute window is actually a good thing.

Did you try calling the Rainforest Cafe directly? They only release a few ADRs to Disney, it's usually a lot easier to get in if you speak to the restaurant. I think you can find the number on the main RFC webpage.

I also think you will need 55 minutes to get to Sanaa though - by the time you wait for a bus and make the trip over to AKL, get checked in, etc. The resort itself is beautiful, so if you have some extra time just wander around!

Sounds like you'll be quite busy. What kind of tickets do you have? Are your tickets Park Hoppers? Also, depending on the ticket type you have, you could possibly add another day. An upgrade for 2 tickets is $30.00. That way you could go to a park on your first evening, making the rest of your stay a little more relaxed.

Either way, i'm sure you'll have an excellent time.

Sorry I forgot to specify! We've got 3 day hopper passes. And as much as I'd like to, we've got to stick with the days and passes we've already got. I want to do as much as we can but still enjoy our trip. I feel the need to go to HS and AK since DH has never been. I'm thinking we may wind up ditching my "plan" and skipping one of those parks. Sometimes you're in the mood to do everything and other times you just want to enjoy and go at your own pace. I'm not sure which way we'd want when we're there!

Waving at you! We are going to be in the same places for most of the week. We're at AoA, but doing AK on 4/14, Epcot on 4/15 and MK on 4/16. So I think your plan sounds pretty good, lol!

Hi again guys! I am doing a mini happy dance today! Our Mickey and Minnie ears came today! I also bought two new shirts that I love! Thought I would post pics just cause I wanna!

So...they are normal bride/groom ear hats, but I added something to the back!

Darn it! The picture is cut off at the edges. Anyway, they say 15 years! I thought it was a good idea, so I hope it doesn't look weird.

And...my new shirts. I am going with a Mickey and Minnie in love theme as the people in my husband's company call us Mickey Marc and Minnie Melissa.

Yes, we may be crazy, but we paid to upgrade our phones early and we're getting iPhones to help with our upcoming Disney trip. We've been discussing getting iPhones since they came out, and talked about it last year when we got our current phones, but didn't make the leap at the time.

My DH is already planning to get an iPhone case at WDW. He wants a Pirates one, LOL.

On another note, what are you doing for countdown calendars? We need to do something to stop the questions about how long until we go to Disney World? Heck, we went to Iowa this past weekend, and my DD told her whole K class that we were going to Florida.

There are lots of free countdown calendars available for the iPhone. I use "Disney World Countdown" by Minnieware. Rather than an app, it's widget that you place one your screen. It does do anything except show the number of days left. I put mine on my bottom line tray so it's always visible. (I like simple!)

You're not crazy. I'm seriously considering activating my iPhone just for Disney. I need a cell phone eventually anyways, and I've been stalling over reactivating the iPhone I had in Korea.

DS is still too young to even realize what's going on, but I've seen several ideas.
One is to make a chain with the number of days you have left on it, and remove a link as the days pass.
Another is to make a box with all the dates or number of days written on something (flowers, mickey silhouette etc) and put them on a big posterboard. Once the box is empty, it's time to go.
Or you could just go with the classic cross off calendar.
The idea is just to make something tactile that shows exactly when you're leaving.

I am doing my own happy dance since we finally booked a trip for April 27-May 4 We will be at the Grand Floridian. We are giving ourselves a splurge since we had saved a good bit of money thinking we were going to owe taxes this year, but it turns out we should be getting a refund. I think that calls for 3 bananas.

The meds will work but you must rest also. If you don't rest, you'll be sick again as soon as the meds are finished. Take care of yourself and let others take care of you for at least a week or so. I speak from experience! I'm praying you are as good as new by the time your trip comes around.

I work in health care and since the flu is rampant i am so afraid it will hit. I did have my flu shot. but I could get the strain thats not included in the shot, taking vitamin c and sanitizing everything in site LOL. I hope you feel better soon. make sure you rest and take all your need don't stop even if you feel better after a few doses.
