DISmoms 4 - The Hunt for Jack Sparrow

I am soo excited for May !!!!! Can't wait to get the details hopefully pretty soon !! I mean it;s only 78 days away !!!But who's countung !!!:rotfl2:

You went to Serenity Bay? Where did the boys go?
And HEY! Don't insult our scurvy man! :rotfl:

When we cruise we had a Double dip at Castaway. So our 1st day/stop there we spent it as a family. On our 2nd stop we went to serenity while they went to their clubs on the island. We didnt stay long as we wanted to spend the rest of the time with them since it was the last day also.

I would love to go on another DCL with girlfriends- it was awesome! That ship is GREAT for adults, and it cracks me up that people think it's a ship all about kids- it's a ship and a cruiseline for ALL- everyone gets to have fun!:thumbsup2
right!! people look at me crazy when I say i would cruise on it without the boys.. yet they look at me crazy when I say im going to wdw or dland without them too. I get the why would you go to a kids place by yourself.. HELLOOOOO its where I can relaxe and enjoy being a kid at heart! lol (along with riding whatever rides I want without some whining kids lol and a few beverages to boot!)

Back to Serenity Bay....

Of course, the 3 of us HAD to stop for a pic here-

Love the cordanating sun gear lol

I am VERY happy that my upcoming cruise with Timmy for 4 nights is a different itinerary- so for the first DCL cruise ever for me, we will be going to CC and it will NOT be on the last day- we get a sea day after CC, which just will make it sooo much easier, don't you think? There is always this HORRIBLE sense of dread when you leave CC on the final full cruise day- it's over, and you know it's over. The best day of all, but also so bittersweet.
i think having a sea day on your last day is THE best. no having to rush after a port stop to pack. Just pack a lil in the morning pack some at lunch then finish it up before dinner. lol

Ok- I actually have to upload the rest of my pics- I have NO idea what happened next unless I look at them- do you? :rotfl:
DITTO need to take some ginko baloba im horrible at remembering things

LOVE LOVE LOVE the pic of you me and Joan!!!! We are such the 3 MOUSEketeers!!!! And look how we color coordinated our swim cover ups!!!!! :thumbsup2
lol good minds thats what I said! lol

Sorry, Ellen... still figuring out the PhotoBucket features (did some editing). It's ITSK, not ITSE, right? :rolleyes1

Wow, I can't believe I just read 65 pages in 1 sitting! Lying on the couch feeling lousy while DH is handling running the girls around to their evening activities, this was a nice distraction from my feeling of crappiness. I can't say it helped my stomach or head pain, but I think I will drift off to sleep peacefully dreaming about the boat. Err, I mean ship;)

Lmao i love how Els feet are all that u see lol. And Kara looks like she's relaxing down lol

Aww, so sorry your CC day had to end. :sad2: I ddn't know that Cookie would make you a steak - note to self. Love the slide pics - especially Ellen's feet! :lmao: KJ, I didn't see the ITSK pic, promise. :goodvibes

That's because I sprayed your butt with cooking oil when you weren't watching..... :rotfl2:

Was it YOU I was texting while Ellen went pamming down the slide? I never go anywhere without Pam..... It's a chick's duct tape.

Well if you didn't see it, I think it's been quoted 27 more times!!!!! So surely you can catch it!!!! Did you notice the can of Pam?

Holy cow that slide SHOT you right out!!!!

I know I won't ever be going on that one. :rolleyes1

Oh Baby- I am so sorry you were depressed! I hope you are more adjusted now. How is the baby? How long is your DH's deployment? Are you able to Skype with him?

and yes, we do know how to have fun- thanks for joining in!

Lilly is doing great. Grandma and Grandpa took us to Disneyland at the beginning of December which was a lot of fun but a lot of work. She's almost 7 months now. Hubs has been gone since October 1 and will have been gone 7+months by the time he finally gets home. We haven't been able to Skype because his internet connection where he's at is absolutely horrible. We've had to rely on two 15 minute morale calls and texting apps.

Can't wait to read more!

I need booze help and what better place to ask than a DISmoms' trip report. :rotfl: I am a wine drinker so do not know what is a good liquor and what is a nasty one. In our liquor cabinet we have Absolut, Cuervo, a couple of Irish Whiskeys and a bunch of "cooking liquors". Suggestions please of what I should buy, family is coming and I want to be prepared.

Sounds like you have a good start. You need some good Bourbon, maybe Jim Beam, Jim Beam's Red Stag is good, Jack Daniels or Maker's Mark. Rum is needed, Ronrico, Captain Morgan, Bacardi are decent brands. What about some craft beers like Guiness, Sam Adams or Leinenkugel? There are tons of brands.

And a gin? I'm not a brown liquor drinker so I can't really help there, but we have lots of white. Vodka, gin, rum, plus some after dinner liquors like Baileys and Frangelico.
