That's Great Nathan had a blast last year we did a 4 day with our vacation club points. Looks like there will be quite a few kids their age. Our anniversary is the Tues of the cruise We can't wait

I don't know about any of you, but it is kind of hard this week to get into planning for our cruise after listening to report after report about the poor Carnival Triumph cruise.

For our international Disney cruisers, if you haven't heard, this ship lost power early on it's week long voyage and we've been hearing horror stories coming from the passengers who were stuck on this ship for days.

I know the chances are astronomical that this would happen to our cruise. It just puts a little damper on things. However, It does help you appreciate the planning that goes into just one voyage. And I can easily say, since we've traveled on both, that Carnival is no Disney.

A question I have for those involved in the Fish Extender Gift Exchange: would it be too much to ask if your kids have a favorite Disney character or show, to list it next to their names on the list? I see so many Disney things for kids while I'm out and about, but it is hard to know what is age appropriate. For example, my younger son loves Agent P (hence my avatar) and is out of his Lightening McQueen stage. I don't want people to feel obligated to get specific items (my kids will be grateful for whatever they receive) but it helps me to plan for others.

Just a thought. Please let me know if you think I'm over thinking this too much. I really don't want to add stress to anyone's planning.

My dh just had me watch 20/20 last night all about cruise issues .... What was he thinking!! My thinking is as long as it is safe and floating then all is okay.....uncomfortable and unsanitary
but afloat.

I have posted before but I guess it was so long ago (2 years) that my post count went back to 0. I guess I need to post 7 more times to be able to do more things.

Since I have 7 more posts to go, would anyone tell me what excursions they are thinking of taking and at which port?

On our last cruise (not Disney) my family and I went parasailing, snorkeling and had a dolphin encounter. I wouldn't mind snorkeling again but I'm not sure at which port we should do this. I don't think I will ever go parasailing again, although my 10 year old really wants to do it again. Once was enough for me I think. Anyone think the stingrays are worth seeing?

We did the sting ray experience at Castaway Cay and really enjoyed it. We weren't planning on it but won at Bingo the night before and decided to use some of our winnings for it!

Hi Everyone,

My family (me, DH and DS, 10 at time of sailing) are booked on this cruise as well. This is our third Disney cruise, first on the Fantasy, can't wait!

We live in Nova Scotia, Canada, not looking forward to the winter, but planning our cruise makes those months go by a bit faster.

Our DS is hoping to meet some fellow cruisers his age to hang out with...
