Teacher and/or Nurse Rates for Swan/Dolphin?

Go to this link:
http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/dreamsres/sd.cfm

You can plug in your dates and choose the discount through the drop down menu. You don't have to book through the link. it can give you the rates though.
Also, if you call 1-407-934-4000 or 1-888-828-8850 which are the S/D reservations lines, the reservations person can tell you if those rates apply for your dates.

You can also get quotes directly from the resort, here. The links for teacher and nurse rates are on the right side of the page.

The Swan/Dolphin website has a "Special Offers" button on the right side that brings you to all their discounts.

So glad I found this!!! I have been saying for years that Teachers and Nurses need discounts too. Some places at home only give discounts to military, ems, and sometimes teachers. BUT I never see anything for nurses. I may have to try this one day.

Thanks for this information! After all of the times I've looked at the S/D Special Offers page over the years, you'd think I would have noticed this.

I am a teacher and I've always thought about staying at Swan or Dolphin. When I plugged in our dates the rate was $169 for teachers but $151 for AAA so I' m glad I just rented DVC points for our trip. Any discount is good but I was surprised that AAA was a lot cheaper. Be sure to check that too if you are a member.

Same here. I'm a nurse and the AAA discount was also $151, with the nurse discount $169. The AAA rate also includes a $50 resort discount.

We stayed at the Dolphin with a teacher rate last summer, and we got a FANTASTIC deal! The AAA rate is sometimes cheaper, but in our case the teacher rate was. You really have to make sure you're comparing apples to apples, though. When you look at the rate of $151 per night, for example, that doesn't include taxes and resort fees. Plus, if you're driving, you have to pay for parking, and if you're flying you cannot use Magical Express, so you'll need to book a car service or shuttle. Make sure you're making an equal comparison if you're comparing the rates to the Disney resorts :thumbsup2
