Live with Kelly & Michael being filmed 2/17 & 18- how will this affect park entry?

We just got our tickets in the mail today for this taping. In the envelope was a parking pass for MK parking, 2 complimentary 1 day one park passes to be used at MK, 2 plastic colored wrist bands for the show taping stating the time of the show and a letter documenting how to get where and when to arrive that morning. We are really looking forward to the show and hope we have good weather those two days!

Darn! We really wanted tickets to this since we're annual pass holders and live so close. Maybe there is still a chance they could come tomorrow...

I got my tickets today. I do have annual passes, can we give our comp tickets to someone else to use?

I got my tickets yesterday. I'm going to the live taping on the 19th, I'm excited!

Yay!!! I posted for nothing... We got our tickets today in the mail for the 18th for the second show. Yay!!!! I'm sooooo excited!!!

I hope there won't be a problem getting into the park. We have the tickets and wristbands for the 19th but my sister was hoping to come with us to the park that day and just hook up with us after the show. I checked the park hours and it looks to be business as usual.

The show should have little impact on park access.

I know the local TV news station where I live is holding a drawing for 25 winners (with a guest) for a one day park admission, show taping and bus transportation to and from Orlando. Winners will be picked tomorrow.. I will be up there next weekend and did enter my name. I don't need the park admission, as I am an annual passholder. I don't need the bus transportation, as I am going for the entire weekend. I just thought it might be cool to watch the show :thumbsup2

I got tickets to the fist show on Mon. It says to be there at 7:30am. Does anyone know if that means to be at the gate at 7:30 or where the show is filming? Will the parking be open that early? I want to make sure we are at the right place on time. Thanks!

If it is anything like the past tapings, they will be in front of the castle. That is were they have been before. It is really easy to get around them and the audience.

We got tickets to the 2nd show on Monday. I thought for sure that they would be right in front of the castle...but everywhere I've read says town square.

It means be to the main gate at Magic Kingdom for checkin by 7:30am. They will have it well marked just be sure to bring your wristbands, parking pass and park tickets. Parking at the TTC should be open early enough for you since the park opens at 8:00am that day. Just be sure to check when you go through the parking plaza and ask the attendant if the transportation can get you to MK by 7:30am. If there is any doubt, as a back up plan, you can go to the Contemporary, check with security there, park and walk over. But that should not be necessary. Also remember that having a wrist band does not guarantee show seating, so it's better to be early rather than late.

Be sure to allow at least 30-45 min from the time you park till you get on the tram, hop the monorail or ferry and walk to the main gate. Have a great time! It might be fairly cool that morning so dress warm!

Strahan rode IaSW two boats behind us last night, filming a segment for the show.

Stage is all set up in Town Square, CMs and large plants stationed all around it.

I hope he didn't use a flash on his camera. ;)
