Here's to hoping rumors are just rumors, could not imagine losing the look of the original animators. Don't care for animators on the dream. A lot of people sail the Magic and Wonder because they prefer these ships over the Dream and Fantasy, why would they want to risk losing this large following ?

Where is anyone talking about Animator's Palate? The images found of the Magic's supposed plans are of Parrot Cay, Beach Blanket Buffet, and the Spa.

I just got off the Magic a week ago and was able to speak to several crew about her drydock. She will drydock in Fincantieri and will undergo extensive refurb to include all rooms being redone, the crew area is getting a new look to include some features from the Dream/Fantasy. Topsiders and Parrot Cay are going to be refurbed. Animators is also expected to be upgraded to match the Dream/Fantasy. All new carpeting throughout the ship too. I asked if the horn will be upgraded but never did get an answer. Nobody said anything about stretching her but who knows. Also, next year the Wonder is scheduled for a long drydock to receive the same refurb and upgrades. Didn't hear where though.

Any rumors on what (if anything) they are changing in the cabins? Obviously bedding but I'd love to see virtual portholes!

We were on the Magic January 26... my son was in the Edge and the counselors told him that they were going to gut the whole kids area. They really need some work when you look at the difference between their clubs and those on the Dream/Fantasy. Didn't think to ask about what else they were doing while we were onboard but I think that's a good start.

My daughter will be very sad if they get rid of the big slide in the clubs on the classic ships....

I was thinking about that the other day when I was looking at the Magic for 2014. It still says queen or 2 twins, but that is no guarantee.

On the WBTA 2010 they started ripping up carpet and putting up plywood the night before we disembarked. There were other things going on during the cruise but nothing that affected our trip. It was weird to go to bed and in the next morning the carpet in the hallway by the elevators was missing and the wall next to the lifts were covered in plywood.

I have been on cruises where its been friends or family members that definently dont want to share the same bed, however its always just my wife and I and I hate having the bump in the middle where they joined the two twins together. Would be nice if you could choose to have two twins or a real queen mattress. Actually I would like a king, but then the bed would be the whole room

I wouldn't mind the kids area being redone as well. My kids do like the slide, so I hope that stays. But I loved the hand washing machines at the front of the club on the Dream. I thought it was weird when we went on the Wonder for them to just squirt soap in her hand and have her walk all the way across the room to wash them. It would be nice to have something up front.

I agree, please keep the beds split! I had to sleep on the convertible sofa on the Dream and Fantasy and gave the real bed to my best friend. I love sailing on the Magic because I don't have to sleep on that sofa bed. I wish the beds on the newer ships splits, it would make sleeping arrangements better.

From what I have gathered, Animator's Palette on the new ships was designed fully by the imagineers and not an outside company. I could be wrong though, so in this case that leaked images of Parrot Cay, etc wouldn't also have the images of Animators.

How wonderful the Magic will undergo some updating! I have not cruised on the newer Disney ships, and not so sure I want to given they are so much larger which means so many more people. It would be nice to enjoy some of the benefits on the new ships on the Magic.
