Marie, Berlioz and Toulouse - Live at DLP for the 1st time

Berlioz and Toulouse were created specially for the Prince according to CM on DCP

Even Marie has been redone as the Marie that was in DLP last time looked different and squinted :)

OMG they are sooooooo cute  wish wish wish they were at DLP all the time.

Oh my Favourites :goodvibes I always wondered why they didn't have more about them at DLRP, considering the story is set in Paris !!!! Now all I need is Georges Hautecourt in Inventions and a jazz club in the Disney Village :goodvibes

Kx

I love the idea of a jazz club in the Disney Village.

We were there, Just back today, we saw the parade twice on Thursday and got given roses and sweets (The first of three was cancelled due to the weather, it was wet and very cold) and we even met Marie yesterday. Angel, Stitch, Mickey and Minnie in their blue (royal brunch?) outfits, Goofy, Tigger and Rabbit were at the DLH magical moment at 4pm on Thursday. We saw Esmerelda and Phoebus as well. A lot of the rides were closed or on temporary pause for the prince, for example only one car was going on Space Mountain as the other was on hold for if the prince wanted to go on it, and pinocchio was closed and swept out very thoroughly so although there were lots of characters (all with massive/vicious scrums/ very little chance of meeting) the queues for rides were pretty long. The weather was really wet as well so it was very disheartening to wait for a character for half an hour before a set, and then through their set without getting close. We had a good day though - Got to meet Stitch and Angel in the evening outside inventions.

We managed to see the second parade and aquired full set of rose (Mrsbadger) and sweets\postcard (missbadger). Saw it up near small world and was plenty of space for viewing up there.

Descent of the stairs was a nightmare though, missbadger got shoved by another child and parent was rude when I asked her to stop. I then had to get a crying child out of the crush which wasn't fun.

I don't get the feverish adulation of stitch though, I thought the film wasn't that popular? Although stitch live was pretty funny

Will post high lows later

I absolutely love the Aristocats, it's probably the Disney movie that I never ever tire of, even more so that the little mermaid and cars! I wish they would be a permanent set, I'd love to meet them in June :goodvibes

My little girl loves Aristocats so it's great to see some characters that she will actually want to meet in the park - she's very fussy and hates the princesses!

I'm amazed it's taken this long though..?! The park is awash with Marie merchandise so I could never understand the absence of The Aristocats characters. Let's hope they stick around :)

Elaine you'll be seeing them :cool1: The Prince has paid for them to be until Saturday :goodvibes

we met Marie :cheer2:! She was out doing meet n greets on the bandstand on both Saturday and Sunday (randomly she was with Mary Poppins and a Penguin when we met her :rotfl2:).

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: What a load of rubbish!

Seriously some of the lies I have read online about the Princes visit during Valentines Day etc is laughable.

More lies. Don't believe everything you read or hear, and certainly don't believe what CM's say. Half their information is usually wrong. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

And you are so well informed because ??

Calling people liars is not big or clever especially from behind your pc screen and it's not in the spirit of this forum.

Cassie was reporting what she saw and heard that day being over there.

Perhaps you would like to share with us your version of events rather than :rotfl:

In the end, people were allowed to actually meet all 3 of the kitties on the Sunday apperently.

A shame they had to do the "private-meets" in the middle of everything, roped off, so many little kids didn't understand why they couldn't meet certain characters, and the people on the other side of the rope could.

I ran into Robin Hood twice on the 15th, and they were roped-off for the regular guests.

.

That is right they did a few sets during the day and lots of people got to meet them.

Marie was originally supposed to meet on Valentines Day alongside Duffy on the bandstand but because of the weather a lot of things got cancelled.

Robin Hood and his crew did meets for other guests. I saw them getting mobbed.

As always on this forum, lets keep it friendly and polite please.
