Ok, we just booked this cruise. 4 nights from Vancouver to San Diego...can't beat that price (besides being free). I love the repo cruises because they are affordable. I like this one because it is mostly days at sea and we can just enjoy the ship for 4 days. Anyone joining me?

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

We will be on this cruise with you:goodvibes We're doing a B2B Alaskan with the 4 night back to CA. It's hard giving up the Fantasy, but I think this trip will be amazing!

Very smart idea. I think we might be doing an Alaskan cruise in June of 2014, but we will be going with Celebrity.

We just were on the Disney Dream...what an awesome ship. I will miss the Aqua Duck, but the Wonder is a great ship. I have been on both the Wonder and the Magic...both great ships.

We just booked! It's my Mom (Victi, MsTxMom on the boards) and me - Michelle. We're hoping to convince my aunt to come. Wish we could do the back to back, but there aren't enough vacation days in the year. ;)

Welcome...we are from Vancouver, so it is only 1 flight for us...we will probably stay in San Diego for a few days after the cruise. We love Southern California and try to go every year, so we figured this would be a perfect way to get there. So far it is myself, my hubbie and my parents, but hoping to get more of my family to join us.

I am hoping we will do a FE on this cruise...we did our first FE in January on the Disney Dream and LOVED it.

Thanks! We're hoping to do a couple days in San Diego after the cruise, too. I definitely want to go back to the zoo - it's been YEARS since I got to go! We're planning on flying into SEA and taking the train up to Vancouver again. We had such a lovely trip last year - believe it or not - that was one of the highlights from our AK cruise!

We'd like to do the FE too. It's fun planning what we're going to give and getting all the unique items from everyone else!

Ya, we loved the FE and already have an idea of the gift to give...but only because we are celebrating our 25th anniversary this summer and are going to give it as a party gift (yes, it is Disney themed).

Vancouver is beautiful...so much to see and do. We love living here. We live about 30 min away from Vancouver. We are actually a few minutes away from the Canadian/US border (Peace Arch Border Crossing).

We have done lots in San Diego, but have not done the zoo yet...maybe this time :)

We are a military family and I'm betting on the Air Force moving us back to California sometime this summer. We will go on this trip regardless (in-laws live in Huntington Beach, CA) but it will definitely save $ on airfare if we fly out of L.A.

My DH is currently deployed and we were going to do the Fantasy western when he gets back, but it's hard to plan when you don't even know where you will live in 6 mos:confused:

Hi, Stinkerbe11!

~*~

We are booked but not totally decided if we are going yet. Lots of time and potential income fluctuations between now and then, plus I am hoping to take DS on a cruise for his 3rd birthday in 2015 and unless there are some serious itinerary/ship assignment changes, we might have to push the money for this one to the following year. UGH I hate paying for travel to sail!

Life can throw a curve ball between now and then...we are booked, we are hoping to go, but who knows...here is hoping finances will be good. Thankfully the cruise is cheap.

Welcome by the way.

Hi, Stinkerbe11!

Hello:) weren't we on the Mexican Riviera together?

Well, we got word that we are moving back to California:cool1: I will miss the beautiful beaches here in Destin though...My in laws live close to Disneyland, so I priced annual passes and wow! Over 2,000 for our family of 4. It was so much less when we lived there just a few years ago. I guess we will have to explore the great outdoors instead, so I can save up for the Alaska cruise.

Yup, that's why I said hello. :D

The AP prices are insane now. We still have them because DS is a baby, and we up or downgrade the level based on whether or not we will be in town for the Christmas blockout dates, but as soon as he starts looking three we may have to give them up entirely.

That said, if DCL brings a ship doing shorter 2/3/4 night cruises to LA or San Diego on a long-term basis, we would trade our APs for cruise fare.

oh to live close to Disneyland...heck even anywhere in Southern California, would be my dream. How come you Americans are so picky about letting us Canadians live there?

Picky? From the looks of it, they will let anybody live in California:lmao: Oh, but you probably meant legally...never mind .

Just anybody? Well, that's my cue! :rotfl2: Another Californian joining you all! Actually, there are four of us. It will be me, DH, and our two boys will be 5 and 2 in September 2014. It's our first cruise and we are beyond excited!!

I was hoping Disney would be back at the LA port, but San Diego is close enough.

Happy to be joining you all! :)

Welcome...boy, not bad for this early in the game...we have a good handful of people on here already.

we are also doing the 2 cruises back to back... and hoping to spend two days at DisneyLand afterwards :cool1: after all, don't want to waste all that time in an airplane, do I? :confused3 (we live in the middle of TN)

:wave2:
