A Simple Guide to Making an Autograph Book

MusicMouse -

About a year and a half ago, you made my family some character meal autograph covers. Are you still making those? I can't find them in your Photobucket account, so I thought I would ask.

Thank you.

Hi MusicMouse, love your work!! I've looked through your photobucket and tried to find the castle with all the characters and blue background that says Walt Disney world 2013 in 4x6" but couldn't find any. Is it possible to do one for me? Thanks a lot!

Could anyone do me a front cover for a homemade autograph book

Evan's Autograph Book 2013

I love the picture of all the characters with the four park landmarks in the back in blue writing

Thanks so much if anyone can!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and for the blank pages! I love them! Going to finalize their books on shutterfly now!! I cannot thank you enough!! LOVE THEM!

Thinking of using Shutterfly this year for our autograph book. Anyone have any experience with it and what there thoughts were vs. just printing on card stock and having spiral bound at Staples?

I'm really confused if I see templates I like and want to have them printed on 4x6 matte picture stock does it already leave room for the binding or do I need to adjust the sizes? Or should I leave them the way they are and mount them to 5x7 card stock and have that bound?

I'm looking for an autograph card that is 4 x 6 that has both Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope together on it, but no writing. Does anyone have one like this?

I did see a little boy during Christmas with one like this (whether it came from Shutterfly, I don't know but ideally the same). It was adorable!! My only issue is that if you miss some sigs, it's blank and if you don't have a spot for someone you need to plan "generic" spots for them to sign. I am debating doing this vs the cards I made which I printed on half sheets of 8.5x11 paper and had many left over plus ran out of generic pages for extras. We were there for 2 weeks at Christmas so as you can imagine there was A LOT of cards to have on hand. but alas I do comptemplate doing a shutterfly/snapfish type book to make it easier! Remember though you can't add pics in after but if you have pics of the kids from before with the characters you could use those instead of an autograph card design!

I do think I want to make my cards smaller though if I print them myself. It just takes me so much time to resize stuff! Argh.

We've printed them in photobooks a couple times and as 4x6 pictures a couple times. Daughter likes both options. If we print as pictures, we take them in a recipe card holder "thingy" and sort them alphabetically. Works like a charm. Each night we take out the signed ones so it grows more empty each day of the trip. Then when she gets them home, she can put them in a scrapbook, photo album, 4x6 index card box, or whatever she likes.

Hey - Getting ready to print daughter's new set of cards for June and just noticed Indiana Jones and Marion on the list? Where are they appearing?

Ahaha yep this was what I did but mine were a bit larger than 4x6 do I got a bit larger a box folder (not a giant file folder but one that was probably 6 inches high and 9 inches wide. Then I only carried the cards for the day in a hard pencil case with a clipboard I made by decopauging Disney stuff to it. Still with 14 days and 2 Christmas parties plus some extra other Christmas additions and every character restaurant pages (with of course every character possible there because you never know who will show up that day), the main box was HEAVY! This time we will be there another 2 weeks in May but 3 days will be on a DCL cruise so now I will need to make pages for that. Ugh!!!

Has anyone ever used Blurbook or something other than Artscow/snapfish/shutterfly with success?

This is such an awesome list. Does anyone know if someone created pages for the new Be Our Guest restaurant? Thanks so much!!! Preparing for a May trip. :cool1:

Yes, I still do them. I know it's virtually impossible to find things in this new photobucket format! :furious: I Just need a name, a color, and which character meals that you will be attending. :goodvibes

Here you go :goodvibes:

Thinking of using Shutterfly this year for our autograph book. Anyone have any experience with it and what there thoughts were vs. just printing on card stock and having spiral bound at Staples?

I can only say that folks have been very happy with their Shutterfly books, and they tend to be a little thinner that the card stock. It really depends on whether you would rather print your own or not. :goodvibes

I'm really confused if I see templates I like and want to have them printed on 4x6 matte picture stock does it already leave room for the binding or do I need to adjust the sizes? Or should I leave them the way they are and mount them to 5x7 card stock and have that bound?

The binding takes up only a very small margin at the top. Please see post #1 for the best printing instructions. :goodvibes

I'm looking for an autograph card that is 4 x 6 that has both Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope together on it, but no writing. Does anyone have one like this?

I don't have one, because there really isn't enough space on one 4x6 card for two characters to sign. If you would still like one, you should put a new request thread out on the main Creative DISignboard. :goodvibes

Hey - Getting ready to print daughter's new set of cards for June and just noticed Indiana Jones and Marion on the list? Where are they appearing?

They have been meeting outside of the Indiana Jones Stunt spectacular after performances. :goodvibes

There aren't any character meet and greets for the Be Our Guest Restaurant. :goodvibes

Can I request a 5 x 8 personalized autograph book cover that has Ariel on it with Disney Fantasy Cruise May 11-18, 2013

And also has the name Princess Rylee on it?
Thanks!

MusicMouse, I am brand new to this but refuse to spend $40 on etsy for a book. Can u make me three covers?

Pink Minnie mouse for Tatiana
Rapunzel (alone) for Bianca
Merida Brave for Cecilia

Thanks!

I want to print at home on cardstock, what size covers are these and what photobucket do you recommend. They mostly want princesses and classic Disney characters

Hi! I'm making 2 autograph books for our upcoming trip in March.
Would you be able to make a 4x6 cover with the name Shae on the front for princess castle cover.

And one with the name Aidan for the red mickey mouse cover?

Thanks so much!
