Announcement at 10:45 EST for 2014

I really like the new itenerary addtions for 2014. Yesterday I sent my TA my reservation request for two cruises and I feel confident I will get these two cruises and the category I am requesting. I also have my eyes on another cruise in 2014 but I haven't confirmed that yet. I hope everyone is exicted with these new itenerary.

Thanks. That's a little messed up that that is the only way to see the itineraries & dates.

Yeah - I really want to do this in 2015 - DS graduates from HS that spring. We're going to visit DL in CA for 4 nights and then 7 nights at the new DVC resort on Oahu plus a few nights on Maui this summer so it would be a little hard for us to do another really big trip again in 2014...plus with this trip planned for 2 weeks we won't be going to WDW in 2013. I had figured we'd probably do 2 trips to FL in 2014 and then cruise again in 2015. We also still haven't sailed on the Dream or the Fantasy yet 'cuz we tend to cruise for the itineraries. Seems like the Europe cruises are a better value (per night) than the Fantasy cruises. And of course the airfare is less to stay in the Caribbean...but the itineraries are not as exciting as EUROPE!! I hate that they do the better itineraries like the So. Caribbean during the school year. Is there a cruise that repos between Venice and Barcelona? Which date is that & how many nights is it? What to do...what do do.:confused3

If we would move our OBB to one of these European cruises then how much is the deposit? Is it less than 20%? I just bought airfare to CA & Hawaii a couple weeks ago and my washer died last weekend so I'm not really in a position to go dumping a lot more money on a deposit right now. At the moment the dummy cruise date we have is just on a 4-night Dream to keep the deposit reasonable...

If you move an OBB, your deposit should remain at 10%. So you would just owe 10% of the difference between your original booking and the new booking.

We are in the same boat. My DS will also graduate in the spring of 2015, which is why we want to do a big trip over the summer. Airfare is aweful during the summer months though. If DCL does Alaska again in 2015, we may just do that instead. Flying to Seattle versus Venice will probably save me about $4K for the 4 of us!!

I got booked in a 7A but not a secret verandah. Still no idea on price....

I want a secret verandah but i should be happy with a cruise in 2014 after 3trips to the world and one cruise in 2013 (thanks to DVC and PAP):cool1:

But they pretty much have gone back to all Vancouver sailings

Often times cheaper to fly into Seattle and rent a car to Vancouver than flying direct to Vancouver. There are also busses that take you up to Vancouver as well.

We flew into Seattle and took Amtrak to Vancouver. Terrific ride and incredible scenery. We did it back to Seattle after the cruise and stayed a few days. Saved us several hundred dollars. If you belong to AAA, you get a discount.

Yes. I just moved mine to December 2014 and only had to pay another $57.33 to cover the 10%.

Never thought about Amtrak. I'll file that one away for future use.

Dumb question alert ...

What is a secret verandah?

It's a verandah that has a slight obstruction. That way you get it for a cheaper price than a non-obstructed verandah. Because the obstruction is minimal it's worth it to take the discount.

Scott and Kevin could finally do that photo walk :)

(Yes. Hard work indeed - thank you. He spend every waking moment at the computer yesterday; he even ate dinner in his office! He'll be back there today fixing a few coding errors....Glad you like it!)

It's just the June 14 med cruise (12 night). Not labeled as a repo.

We have a serious conversation to have tonight.
We are debating WBTA or Southern.

Would love to do both, but bumming around San Juan for 3 weeks might be hard.
Although San Juan on the Eastern was great and we loved the B2B.

It's just about what is still left when we go to book.
