Glad to hear you are feeling well again! This year has been brutal for so many people.

Hi Brook. Yes the flu season was so bad this year. I feel bad for the little ones around here. There are so many sick right now.

Well I am still at work (1:30 pm) right now. Banks & other businesses are closing early & we have not heard anything yet. It has not stopped snowing at all but still not at the heavy stage yet. My boss just came over to see if we had any customers & there were no one so I am hoping they make the call soon!!
Even DH company which NEVER closes for anything is closing at 2:30. Keeping fingers crossed!!!

Hi Erika!! Thank you. Yes it was bad & I am on medication that brings my immune system down so I catch everything.

So as the snow is falling I am FINALLY going to do an update!! We closed at 3:00 & I now am home & in my jammies. I did not realize they now name these snow storms but NEMO is here!! The news just said it (Nemo) has not fully arrived yet! I guess during the night it is supposed to get really bad. May have "thunder snow".

Anyway I had to look back & see where I left off so LONG AGO...

We were at MK and headed back to the resort. I must have taken these on the way out

So we headed back to BC and relaxed then headed here for dinner...

See Cody yawning in the background I think we were keeping him up.

While we were there someone ordered the Kitchen Sink so I watched the CM make it.

I don't remember what we had & cannot find the receipt but this was Cody's dessert

After dinner we headed back to MK for the parade & fireworks

On the bus on the way to MK we saw deer!!!

I remember this night being windy & COLD!!! I have never brought pants to wear in April but wish I had them on that night!! I had my sweatshirt on & hood on my head as we sat & waited for the parade to start. Some pics as we got into MK

Thinking of you also!! Hope you are staying in tomorrow! I am anxious to see what it does overnight.

I bought stuff to make a nice hamburger macaroni soup, some toffee bars & pudding pie. I just hope we have power!! We did a full grocery shopping trip last night & our freezer is full!! They are predicting some will loose power for days.
Has the wind been bad there??

After the parade we got hot chocolate in Casey's & waited for the fireworks.

On the bus on the way to MK we saw deer!!!

It's neat to see deer on Disney property. It's such a peaceful scene in the midst of the chaos.

I plan on taking a couple of pairs of sweatpants 'just in case' in March. I hope not to have to pull them out of the suitcase.

I am a collector of these cute Precious Moments figurines but have not bought one in a LONG time.

Jill has several of the Precious Moments figures, too. They are so cute!

Well we did not loose power last night & we have about a foot and a half on the ground right now & it is still coming down. I took a few pics on the ride home yesterday & then some this am.

This was up against my living room window. We have long windows and the snow is up past the windows

We did not get tooooo much more last night !!I can see my carKyle is out snow blowing the driveway our driveway !!He also has 2 or 3 jobs to do in the neighborhood !!That boy likes to earn money !! No he doesn't get actually paid for doing ours But believe me he gets money

What a difference from yesterday morning to this morning. Today the sun is shining & snow melting off the roof. DH thinks we got 20+ inches. You can actually see the tar of the driveway today. Yesterday he was outside snow blowing for 3 1/2 hours!! Very glad we did not loose power as we had a fridge & freezer full of food!! I made a hamburger tomato soup yesterday & made some treats today. So now I am going to do another update!

So this day was Tuesday April 24th. We headed to DHS

We have always walked from BC to DHS but decided to do something different & take the boat over this morning. AH what a beautiful day it was...Seeing these pics makes me want to be back there so bad.....

As usual we headed down Sunset..Ryan ran to TSM to get FP's & we waited at RNC. Cody waiting

Ryan came back with a return time for TSM of 11:15. So we rode RNC twice

Then we checked in at the hotel next door

After our ride through the movies we went over to Star Tours

It was a great trip as always. After that is was time to use our FP's for TSM.

Even though our accuracy was the same my DH beat me pretty good!!

After our spin around TSM it was time for our ADR at Mama Melroses. We love it there.

I had to try one of the Butterfinger cupcakes. It was wonderful!!! Looking back at my receipts we got 3 of them. The boys each got their own & Jeff & I split one.

We headed back to BC and took some pics on the way out of DHS

glad you survived the storm WITH power...same here..thank goodness! and my husband was in New York on business that weekend!!! I asked my mom to stay over, so it was her and I trying to get thru the 20+ inches we got...it was not fun


I don't know if you remember the conversation we had about your husband's 'That metal show' T-Shirt? Well, I got my husband one for Christmas..he loved it!
He wore it to a motorcycle or car show in Boston back in January and Eddie Trunk was there!! He commented on my husband's shirt! They chatted for a bit...I guess they won't be filming new episodes until May...

Your family must be excited that Hockey is back!!
