**April 6, 2013** - Fantasy Eastern Caribbean to San Juan!

Hope everyone is doing well!

We have officially decided to leave before the crack of dawn on April 5th to drive down for the cruise. We are looking at things to do in the area for the afternoon. We looked at Kennedy Space Center, but it closes at 5pm. We will probably get in around 1pm or 2pm, so I don't think it would be worth the money to go there for just a short time.

My youngest DD was just talking about the manatees at WDW the other night, so we may head to Manatee Sanctuary Park for a little bit in the late afternoon before heading out for dinner.

I'm kind of sad that no ships will be leaving the port that day because we are planning to have dinner at one of the restaurants that overlooks the channel. Oh well...we are still excited to just sit and relax for the evening.

I love seeing where everyone is from on the roll call. On our last cruise in March 2012, I swear the entire ship was from Colorado and Oregon. We met so many people that lived just a few blocks away!

Can't wait to meet you all :).

Disneywwjrb is in stateroom number 6594. Did you know that you can contact your state representative and request complimentary tickets to the Kennedy Space Center? They have a certain number alloted for each state each month. You choose the date and there is also a return ticket good for 7 days from the first use. Our rep's office gave us a confirmation number and we pick up the tickets at the gate. Good luck. :genie:

For those previous pirate cruisers, I have a random question about security. My son has his Jack Sparrow sword and fake gun that goes with his outfit. He got it in the Pirate's League at Magic Kingdom last year. Will they allow this on board? I wasn't sure how picky they are when screening the bags/luggage.:confused3

I think you will be ok if you put them along with the costume in your checked luggage, not your carry-on.
I am not 100% sure, but I know I seen the swords for sale on the ship. pirate:

Really? I was not aware of that. I may look into that. Thank you very much!

I received a message from lsenquiz ..... she will no longer be with us on this cruise and has been removed from the FE list.

The FE list has been updated.

As soon as all the cabin #'s have been received, I will create a jpeg file of the FE list for whoever wants to save and print it. :)

I picked up my order from Bows By Melody yesterday (Thank you so much, Mommynurseof2!!)

I may have gone overboard (LOL), but they are so cute!

Has everyone gotten their stateroom assignments yet? We booked my DFIL in a category 11C, but couldn't assign him a stateroom at booking. His was just assigned at the end of last week. He got a handicapped-accessible room, which I was extremely surprised about. 11C is still available to book, so I'm wondering if someone who actually needs the HA room books that category, would his stateroom change?

Just curious since I would hope that the stateroom would be available to someone who needs it if they book that category.

We had that happen to us on the Magic a few years ago. We were given an accessible room and loved it. It was huge! We were assigned the room with about 2 months until sailing and never had it change. I would think with it being so close to the sail date, you will get to keep that room. Another family at our table were also given the other accessible room on a different deck.

I'm so excited to see which ones you got. I love Melody, her prices are very reasonable! I need to order an OTT Rapunzel bow. I've pretty much gone overboard on EVERYTHING :scared1:

Wow! That's great! It's just him in the room, so he's going to have a ton of space!

I had her do two OTT bows to match a couple of my DDs' dresses from Gymboree that turned out great.

I ordered the OTT Cinderella bow which is gorgeous! I ordered 2 sets of the small Minnie Mouse clips that are just the black ribbon made into a Minnie head with red/white bows. Finally! I ordered two headbands with flower clips to match another shirt the girls are going to be wearing.

I thought my DH was going to flip at the total cost, but it's so reasonable, that he was pretty happy.

She does a great job and she is so nice, too!

Congrats jmb910 on your future little one. :cloud9: My daughter is also 4, will you be putting your 4 year old in the kids club? I'm hoping there will be another little girl for her to play with.

Thank you so much! We are so excited. I can't wait to eat all of the yummy cruise food and not feel guilty about it ;).

We are definitely putting our 4 year old into the kids club. She loves being in there. I am also hoping they let our 2.5 year old in. She is fully potty trained, and I have heard they sometimes let the younger ones in depending on the capacity and how they do. She will also be just 2 months short of her third birthday, so she is almost there.

So your daughter will hopefully have 2 other girls she can play with :).

My youngest will be about 2 weeks shy of 4 on the cruise. She will be heading to the kids' club quite a bit, too, so there will be one more little girl to play with!

My oldest is planning on going to the kids' club as well, but she is older. She is 10. She won't be 11 until July and I'm just worried that, since we aren't traveling with anyone her age, she won't have fun in the older club if we tried to have her go there instead. She will probably go to the younger club. She does really well with the younger kids.

Congrats on the little one!! What a good excuse to eat anything you want! :thumbsup2
