I am obsessed with returning to WDW. We came back from our first trip in November and I have worked out that (being realistic) we can't afford to go back until the Summer of 2016.:sad2:

It was the best holiday I have ever had and I want to repeat the experience. I have already decided that we would add a trip to Universal, Seaworld and Busch Gardens next time.:thumbsup2

I started planning my 2012 trip in January 2009, so that countdown was loooong. This countdown starts today and currently stands at:

Nothing wrong with you.
It's addictive, there's nothing quite like it!

It's just a shame it's so many pennies.:rotfl:

But will it be as good if you don't meet me again? :rotfl2:

Perfectly normal, nothing wrong with you. Dr wayneg.:goodvibes

Lol Wayne - the amount of times you go to WDW, it would be a miracle not to meet you again.:rotfl:

True. I am aiming to save £7000, which is what it cost last time. As we won't be able to go in October, we will save on MNSSHP and MVMCP but I would like to do Universal etc next time. My heart is set on OKW too, so no cheap deals for me :(

I kinda know the feeling.

Been planning this upcoming trip (like you staying at okw in a 1 bed villa can't wait :goodvibes) for over two years and that has felt like a lifetime :confused3.

But now im down to under 4 months, actually 110 days today we go to gatwick :cool1:.

But I know that we will be wanting to go again when we come back but the cost of going all the way out to Florida with two kids can be expensive. We won't be able to do it again for another 3 years ourselves but hubby has told me that when I do come back I should come back on these boards and start planning to keep me motivated and happy.

It seems silly as we haven't even done this holiday in june yet and im thinking about how sad I will feel when I come back but I know I will so better to be prepared. I can sympathise with how you must be feeling.

I think once you have been bitten by the Disney bug that's it :thumbsup2. Just think all the planning will pay off and although the first year or so may seem like a long time the last year will fly by, plus you never know what may happen in the mean time and you could win some money (lottery etc :cool1:) and then could get there quicker. :thumbsup2

We came back from our last trip June 12' and realistically we wont be going back until August 2015:sad1: Its so hard sometimes, its like an ache! we even do dummy bookings:sad2: Its only now that i feel i can start DISing again(oh this sounds so sad).I used to walk the dog to the edge of the Manchester Airport runway and watch the Virgin flight take off,but i cant even do that anymore.
Basically most of us here sympathise :flower3:

It's never too early to start planning :goodvibes
I love to read others TRs to give me a little Disney fix in between trips :cloud9:

We last visited Sept 2010, and I'm hoping we can make it back in Sept 2014. Money is very tight at the moment, but in Aug 2013 we suddenly become £500 per month better off.......guess where it's all going!!!!

Relax, I've never met anyone who doesn't come back plotting and planning their next trip! :rotfl2:

We are off to WDW in October and every day I log on to the WDW website just to see another day drop off the countdown! We may not be able to go again next year (lots of personal issues going on that may affect us financially) but already, we're trying to work out how we can find a way to go. As soon as the 2014 holidays go up in April, we'll be on there, pricing it up and trying to figure it all out.

We've already decided that we should probably upgrade our tickets to AP's in October (because that's one less thing we'd have to pay for if we can go in 2014!) My philosophy is there is no harm in looking and planning how you can make your next trip to the magic happen!

It looks like I'm in good company ;)

The kids would like a beach holiday in the sun but that would easily cost £2500 for a family of 5 in the summer holidays. Spending that on going to Spain or Greece would feel like wasted money. Financially, we are an 'either / or' family. We can't afford to have it all ways and we will be holidaying in a caravan in the UK until 2016. Until then, I will be reading trippies, doing countless dummy bookings and watching the Disney ads wistfully.;)

I know what you mean! I lived in Florida for a year two times, and I've been on holiday 3 times now, and I still can't get enough :cutie: Our last one was sept 2012 and I didn't think we could do one in several years, mainly because of our upcoming wedding next year. But we both want a small budget wedding, and we both want our honeymoon in WDW. So we've been making a budget and are saving where we can, by having swapped to cheaper brands in our groceryshopping etc, and we've worked out that we can have our WDW honeymoon :dance3:

We've saved a lot of money by using a site called www.mysupermarket.co.uk. So I would recommend looking into that to help the savings :goodvibes Basically it's a site where you can do online shopping in ASDA, Tesco, Sainsburys etc, but I use it to find offers and cheaper deals as I prefer to go to the store myself. I'll just fill the basket with the items I want, and it'll tell me if there's a similar product that's cheaper or if they have a multibuy offer. When I'm done filling the shopping cart, I'll just write down the products I've ended up with, and go to ASDA and get it.

Welcome to the Wdw addiction, its a terrible but enjoyable habit!I seem to be obsessed with going back for a few months then it wears off and then comes back again... We agreed we def wouldn't be going again after the last trip and then a moment of weakness a few months back and we're off in 88days lol

Well if there's something wrong with you then its wrong with me too lol. We were there in May 2011 and going back in 81 days, been counting down pretty much since I found out I was pregnant with DS in June 2011 (yes DS is a Disneymoon baby lol) so its been a long wait and worse still is knowing that we won't be back for a few years after this trip. Its a bittersweet obsession to have isn't it!!

Well count me in with that obsession as well ....... I cry as we drive under the arch for the last time heading out to the airport and then I'm planning as we're sitting in MCO waiting for our flight home :rotfl2:

I'm just waiting and hoping for those 2014 prices (and discounts ) and I shall be devastated if I can't book for an Oct 2014 holiday

We go this October and I know that realistically we won't be able to afford to go back until 2016 after this year :( I'm already working out rough prices in my head and thinking of going at a cheaper time of year in 2016 just so I can afford it! Looks like we've got the same disorder haha x

We go most years and every year say we won't be going again - cost, lots of other places we want to go etc. And then every year, we book :lmao:

We need a support group for our affliction.;)
Or perhaps the Dis is just that.:confused3
