City, Sand, and Savanna - Link to new trip report

And for those who want to still look, as happened to me you will have ZERO doubt that you found it.......when you actually find it!!! :goodvibes

Is she reflected in the jelly?? Is she sitting-in with the band ala Ferris Bueller?? :hyper: "Danka schoen, darling, danka schoen..."

Is she reflected in the jelly?? Is she sitting-in with the band ala Ferris Bueller?? :hyper: "Danka schoen, darling, danka schoen..."

Or is it the little ball of butter??? :ssst:

I think Dan may find it in the shiny chocolate icing of Gram's dessert (eclair maybe???)...........:rolleyes1

By the way, I honestly think I found yet another legitimate one in a different picture that nobody has mentioned either............ :)

Much less obscure than the obvious one you were referring to as being missing from everyone's answer. :thumbsup2

What a lovely afternoon the ladies had (and again they all looked so lovely). I don't drink tea so I've never even considered doing the Tea (plus I could never get Mark to do it with me), but those sandwiches and goodies look awfully tempting.

Glad you had some pool time despite the rain.

wow you guys and your reflection answers...:sad2: who tries to clam reflections as answers. :confused3

anywho...enjoyed the update, seems like something that girls would really enjoy especially your age...i cant wait to book noelle and candi in the tea with the princess one they have.

since everyone was wrong with there answer of 3 even though glenn gave marv a point anyway so he didnt cry over it...here is another one...her finger is on the bottom of the plat to keep it from falling off the table even though grammy has her hand there.

it is on the bottom corner almost out of the picture but there.
Here’s a picture of Gram’s desserts, I believe. Judy thought that the item on the left was an éclair, but the item on the right she said they all got and loved -- it was a swan, and was a pastry that was kind of like a cream puff. She thought that the filling was raspberry mousse or something equally delectable.

Nice catch, but no. Not Judy's finger. :sad2:

And you know this HOW!!!?????:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:I was gonna say the butter, but seeing as you said it even if it was right Glenn would give to you cuz you're his favorite:rolleyes::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:thumbsup2 on the missing reflection.

It seemed like a nice day all around for not-so-nice of a day.

Might as well go to the pool in the rain. You're just gonnna get wet anyway. And great idea about working up a sweat in your little race.

I love the pictures of the ladies. The tea looked very nice, but as I have 2 boys, that is about the closest I will get to one. So thanks to Judy and the gals for sharing the experience.

And by “running”, I mean an all-out sprint. I’m not sure how it started exactly, probably James started jogging and I ran to catch up to him and he stepped on the gas in order to stay ahead. But however it started, before long we were running full-speed, barefoot, down the carpeted hallways, hoping that we didn’t run into anyone.

Isn't this usually when a couple of workers step out carrying a plate-glass window?:confused3

This chandelier would look nice in our house, but we’d probably get tired of having to walk around it all the time.

I can't think of a single room in my house where this would fit.

Unfortunately, the keyboard was locked.

No Chopsticks in the Grand Floridian! :snooty:

Here’s a picture of Judy’s sandwiches.

23 bucks for that?! Clearly I'm not the target audience for the tea.

Wouldn’t Judy have been surprised if she came back and James told her we smoked cigars!

(cough) Hi Mom! (hack)

Marv pm'd me people, and I have to agree, it looks like there's yet another.

They had a really nice time, and made some memories in the process, so I think it was a great afternoon. :thumbsup2

Yeah, it wasn't ideal pool time, but I'm glad we got some in.

anywho...enjoyed the update, seems like something that girls would really enjoy especially your age...i cant wait to book noelle and candi in the tea with the princess one they have.

Don't worry, it won't be too long before you and Candi are saying to each other "remember when...", like Judy and I are now. :confused3

No, no, no....Gram was using both hands to hold her plate over for Judy to take a picture, so that's her thumb. Good try though!

Before today, Marv would've never thought that he was my favorite.

It seemed like a nice day all around for not-so-nice of a day.

We did all right...I'm not sure how many more nice days we could pull out of crappy-weather-days though.

Might as well go to the pool in the rain. You're just gonnna get wet anyway. And great idea about working up a sweat in your little race.

For some reason, getting rained on is just not as enjoyable as going swimming. It defies reason, but it's a universally accepted fact. I think.

I love the pictures of the ladies. The tea looked very nice, but as I have 2 boys, that is about the closest I will get to one. So thanks to Judy and the gals for sharing the experience.

Tell the boys that they when they pour some milk into the teacup it'll look like a mushroom-cloud explosion. Then they'll be pouring cup after cup, you watch. ::yes::

Am I really going to have to explain the reason that has to be Gram's hand and not Judy's??? :scratchin

I tried, but he probably won't accept it. :sad2:

Isn't this usually when a couple of workers step out carrying a plate-glass window?:confused3

Oh yes, we dodged 2 of those actually, plus 3 wedding cakes, a priceless painting, and a ladder. I just forgot to put that into the write-up. ;)

I can't think of a single room in my house where this would fit.

I'm sure it could dress up your front lawn! Just put it next to the pink flamingo.

No Chopsticks in the Grand Floridian! :snooty:

"But that's a priceless Steinway!"

"Not anymoor."

23 bucks for that?! Clearly I'm not the target audience for the tea.

Aw c'mon, you get a swan-shaped cream puff. What more do you want? :confused3

(cough) Hi Mom! (hack)

Yeah, either that or "Mom, check out these smoke rings I can make!" :sad2:

I have always wanted to do the Grand Floridian tea/ I thought it would cost more, but it doesn't look too bad. Maybe DD and I will try it next trip.

In the teapot !!! I see Judy in the Tea pot !!! Honestly I think my eyes are popping outta my head from oogling each pix !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:And I stil wanna know how Marv's knows ;):rotfl2:

Great Update! It sounds like had a good time at the pool, and mastered the art of the pool slide! :cool2: Those pictures of GF are great! I love the elevator it looks so fancy! Actually everything at the GF looks fancy. I really want to have tea there now. I'll have to wait till I have a daughter or till I convince my mom to come with us one year, because there is no way I can convince DH to do this with me.

I can't wait to find out where the reflection Judy is. Clearly I need to have my eyes checked because I don't see any of them!!

Marv invents the reflections and then convinces everyone they are there :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm going with 9 then !!!The piana has a greenish reflection which has to be Judy!!!
See Glenn, I told you somebody would incorrectly say that green reflection in the piano top was from Judy's dress............. :rolleyes1

The Jam Tart makes me wish I could find replacements for my old Tart Tins !! I just know I;m gionna hear something from Marv on that!!!:rotfl2:
Rosie, I always knew you were an old...........oh wait, that was a "T" wasn't it???

Get your mind outta the gutter......:rotfl2:
Sorry, didn't mean to get in your way..........

You think Marv would make a tart comment to you Rosie? He wouldnt dare! ;)
Who? Me??? Not me..... :sad1:

Hmm, maybe Marv would dare to make a tart comment to Rosie.
Okay.....Okay..... :guilty:

And you know this HOW!!!?????:rotfl2: I was gonna say the butter, but seeing as you said it even if it was right Glenn would give to you cuz you're his favorite:rolleyes::rotfl2:
:woohoo: I'm Glenn's favorite!!! :cool1:  :sad2:

No Chopsticks in the Grand Floridian! :snooty:
Sad isn't it??? :headache: Always thought the GF was supposed to be some high falootin' joint..... :confused3

23 bucks for that?! Clearly I'm not the target audience for the tea.
But it's fancy shmancy.......uh,.......... that!!!

Marv pm'd me people, and I have to agree, it looks like there's yet another.
::yes::

No, no, no....Gram was using both hands to hold her plate over for Judy to take a picture, so that's her thumb. Good try though!
Not to mention it is a left hand and since Judy is to Gram's left, and she is taking the picture with probably her right hand (since most camera's have the button slanted towards right-handed users), that would be one heck of a contortion Judy would have had to pull off to reach across her self, avoid the arm of the fancy shmancy chair, and turn her hand over in that direction to hold the plate.......while taking the picture. :sad2:

Before today, Marv would've never thought that he was my favorite.
Well I guess if anyone has the right to feel that way, it might be Rosie...... :rotfl2:

Wow, you really should be nicer to Rosie every now and then......:rolleyes1

I tried, but he probably won't accept it. :sad2:
I tried too, but he probably won't accept that one either.......

But being a lifeguard, isn’t “go to the pool” your answer for everything?

You would think but until recently I steered away from the pools. Too much like work.

Now lately I am RUNNING AWAY from pools especially my own. :scared1: :sad2:

You did. With all the morning rain, it wasn’t a surefire guess so props to you.

:cool1: I will take props.

I thought it stunk. I brought that mug all the way down there, passing the gift shop, the only other drink station mind you, and then find that it’s closed.
anim_banghead.gif

And then you feel even more thirsty since you know it is closed. ::yes::

That sounds like something that any lifeguard worth her salt would blow the whistle for!

Perfectly legal.... and virtually undetectable if done right. :thumbsup2

Nah really - not lifting anything up really just becomming more aerodynamic, or hydrodynamic???

I swear, that chandelier would hang all the way to the floor in our house! It’d be so funny to have to walk around it. “Dear, do you think this is too gawdy?” “Nah.”

Expain that to anyone who visits - yeah we LOVE the chandelier, please use the back door since you fit through the front.

Sorry, didn't mean to get in your way..........

 Hey you pushed me off the curb. ;)

See Glenn, I told you somebody would incorrectly say that green reflection in the piano top was from Judy's dress............. :rolleyes1

Of course you did !!!That's why you are his favorite !!!:rotfl2:

Rosie, I always knew you were an old...........oh wait, that was a "T" wasn't it???

The word is "Seasoned ":rotfl2:Sorry, didn't mean to get in your way..........

Who? Me??? Not me..... :sad1:

Okay.....Okay..... :guilty:

Mr Innocent:rolleyes1

:woohoo: I'm Glenn's favorite!!! :cool1:  :sad2:

Se he's admitting it :lmao:

Sad isn't it??? :headache: Always thought the GF was supposed to be some high falootin' joint..... :confused3

Huh!!!!:confused3

Well I guess if anyone has the right to feel that way, it might be Rosie...... :rotfl2:

Wow, you really should be nicer to Rosie every now and then......:rolleyes1

I second that emotion!!!!:goodvibes

I tried too, but he probably won't accept that one either.......

No one ever accepts my explanations !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Running through the hallways sounds hilarious. Really getting that cardio in there aren't you?:rotfl:

I love ‘maroomkie’. I wonder how many other 'authentic' names you could come up with like that...

That is such a lovely photo of the girls enjoying their tea! Definitely frame worthy!

All that fancy food looks delicious! I just love the swan so much!

It's just not high tea without the pinkies out. Good thing Marlene had that covered :thumbsup2
