Split stay question!

We are doing a mini split stay, with our first night at the BC CL and then another 6 nights at the poly. The first night I am booking as a room only and using the 35%discount code. The next 6 nights I booked as a BB offer with free dining.

Our plan is to not buy park passes for the first day, and just stay at the BC that day, swimming, and relaxing and then going to the boardwalk at night with the kids. The next morning we would like to make 800 am reservations at CP and take disney transportation to MK and not actually go to the poly until our PM break.

My question is, how do I get my KTTW cards with our dining plan and ticket info? Can I get them at the BC front desk even though our stay is at the poly? Or do I have to take transportation from BC all the way to the poly and then check in and go from the poly to our reservations at CP?

I am SOOOO excited to try out the BC! I would have loved to stay there the entire stay, but with 4 kids under 6 being on the monorail makes more sense.

Have to go to the hotel which you are staying. So you have to go to poly to get your poly kttw cards.

You have to check-in at the Poly to get your keys. If I were you I would hop in a taxi from the BC to the Poly and go check-in early that morning while everyone else is still getting ready. Then meet them all at the entrance to MK. :thumbsup2 That is the easiest way!

Or you could get a bus from BC to MK then boat or monorail to Poly. But if you choose that option you might have an issue with making it on time, since breakfast is at 8:00 AM. Lets say you want to meet the family in front of MK at 7:40 AM, that means you'd have to leave the Poly by about 7:20, which means you'd need to arrive at check-in around 6:45-7:00 at the latest, which means you'd need a bus at the BC at 6:15 or 6:30 AM and unless it's an early morning MK day then buses might not even be running yet.

We're trying our first split stay in April at POFQ and Boardwalk. Super excited to try both resorts out! Just curious to see how the new wristbands will work with a split stay. Do you get 2 bands? Hmmmm.

The bands are supposed to be usable for multiple trips, so you will probably have the option of either keeping the old one or getting a new one.

As of now, they haven't actually started issuing MagicBands (just modified KTTW cards) so it may still not be an issue in April.

Well...I meant if you're staying at 2 resorts on one trip won't all of your room info need to be on2 bands? I hear they're trying them out in the spring so we're in wait & see mode for April. :)
