I have watched some of the analysis on Nancy Grace and HLN etc and it seems like the general consensus is that the judge is allowing her rambling on and on due to the fact that it is a death penalty case, the judge does not want there to be any appearance of limited areas of defense that can be used in an appeal case to overturn a guilty verdict in this case.
As for why the prosecutor is letting her go on and on without objecting, some people think he doesn't want to have the jury think he is worried about what she is saying or that too much objecting can turn off people/juries. Other people say it is just that he is letting her talk and talk to catch her in more stuff she can hang herself with.
Bring on cross examination is all I can say..
