Anybody interested in seeing a BEO for 150 people?

Also, we are officially moved to Italy for our DP because of the large group size. When we were in EPCOT a few weeks ago, one was set up and the CM making sure nobody went in (this was before it started) let us go behind the ropes and see what it looked like. I'm IN LOVE.

Yes please. I would like to say when my time comes it won't be that many people but I'm not do sure, so I would love to see it.

This was the first round of the BEO and we still have some changes to do, but this is what we're starting with.

I can see why you said to never open that when you're driving! I also stick by my Facebook comment that you should've kept on going to the liquor store! That is definitely a hefty BEO.
The videographers you booked have amazing videos, from what I have seen with other DISbrides. Are you using the Arndt's for your wedding too...can't remember!
Good luck dress shopping. I am going this week too, and I also have pictures of what I want to try. I think it helps to have an idea to start with. Can't wait to see what you pick :)

Yea, I should have done that. Part of me doesn't want to post it because it's so much, but I know it helps people see. I had a hard time finding BEO's of large groups when we were in the planning stages. We are still cutting some stuff, and massaging up the menus a bit. My guests are going to leave looking like stuffed sausages lol. :rotfl:

I do have the Arndt's and I love them so much. We've only seen the sneak peek of our engagement photos, and just fell in love with the pics. They did a really great job of making us feel comfortable in front of the cameras, and it definitely shows in the photos. I like them so much that I wish they were just guests at our wedding instead lol.

Where are you going shopping? I've done the "Add to Favorites" thing on both David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo's website, and am printing those out to bring in with me. Plus it's the Cinderella trunk show at the AA in Houston this weekend, so I hope to try those on as well! Good luck to you as well, I'm sure you'll find something amazingly beautiful!

I love the Arndt's work, DF is obsessed with getting the DFTW album. It is the one thing he seems to really care about. He's a weirdo, but he's mine. I keep showing him the pictures but he's not budging!
I did the save to favorites too. I'm going to David's but I am not really sure if I am buying right then and there. I didn't see anything that blew me away, so I thought maybe seeing them in person would help. But then it could be there is a dress in my PJ that I have had my heart set on since we got engaged. It's a Demetrios dress in the Cosmobella line. I am going to a trunk show on March 1st for it. If I have no luck with that dress, I'm going to AA. With AA, I love the Rapunzel dress.
The blue dresses are so pretty. I'm so jealous you get to try them :)

Thank you for posting your BEO, I am curious to see how the changes you will make will impact it. Please keep us updated :)

Good mornings, ladies! Let's see if I can answer these before I have to head to my clinic.

I'd love to know the changes you're making to your menu! That's my favorite part!

The majority of my guests are chiropractors who eat extremely weird. Like no grains, no sugar, etc. Many of them would consider this to be a "vacation meal", but I wanted to try to accomodate them as much as possible. So my menu probably looks a little different than most menus you have seen for Disney. I can't even begin to tell you how extremely accommodating and knowledgeable Disney was in this process! They were so great coming up with suggestions and really knowing their ingredients. I was super impressed

Pre-Reception
Antipasto Display with Crisp Bread Sticks
Warm Brie and Carmelized Onion Tartlet
Caprese Skewers
Looking to add duck egg rolls in rice paper

Buffet
Casar Salad
Pan Seared Mahi Mahi with Lemoncello Butter Sauce, Crispy Pancetta, Tomatoes, and Basil Caper Relish
Free Range Oven Baked Chicken breast with a choice of lemon butter sauce or forest mushroom ragout
Grass-Fed three peppercorn and whole grain mustard rubbed beef strip loin with choice of caramelized red onion compote or gorgonzola cheese fondue with horseradish cream
Martini Action station with- mashed boniato sweet potatoes with coconut milk and choice of topping and grown up truffle macaroni and cheese with lobster meat
Olive Oil Grilled Vegetables
Focaccia, Ciabatta and Baguettes with Olive Oil and Butter

Dessert Party in EPCOT
Boston Cream Cupcakes
Caramel Ganache Bars with Sea Salt
Key Lime Meringue Tart
Fresh Fruit
Assorted ice cream novelties (to include Mickey premium bars and fruit bars)

Like I said- my guests will be stuffed sausages! lol

Aw that's a bummer especially because the Arndt's are so much cheaper and you'll know exactly what you're getting! I'm sure the Disney Photography will be AMAZING though.

I hope to get a dress this weekend because I live away from my parents, so it's not the easiest thing in the world to get us together (especially with my new clinic and I'm trying to build it right now). The Rapunzel dress is very beautiful! If I get one of the Cinderella diamond dresses, I'd be ordering it in white- I don't think I could do the blue, although my mom loves it. I've just always seen me in white for my wedding day.

Will do. It actually came in about 4k higher than what I posted, but I took some stuff out when I posted it here. We were getting nervous about our rehearsal dinner being too large for Ohana's, so we inquired about availability of the GF marina to do a private catered event, and they threw that in there. I also took out the tacky tourists, which were $1800! We still have a lot of work to do with our planner, and we're going to see about prepaying for less drinks because we're not big drinkers, and also cutting down the size of the dessert party some.

Your meal looks WONDERFUL! Maybe I will sneak in for some snacks before I head over to my party :rotfl: No one will notice if I'm wearing my dress right?!

Everything looks great! I know that there was probably a lot of sticker shock, but it really looks like you are getting a lot of bang for your buck!

I can't wait to see how everything comes together!

By the time your ceremony is over, we'll be on our way to our dessert party- we're just a hop skip and a jump away from there, so go eat everything that is left!! :-) Getting close to the 200 day mark, Sarah!

I bought a dress!! :cheer2:

Not putting it on here in fear that Nick stumbles over, but you can PM me if you want a pic.

Thank you for posting your BEO, it really does help a lot. Even though you're having more guests, I feel like, if we end up with approximately the same amount per person as you, then we'll actually come out right around where we want to be. It may be muddled thinking, but it makes sense to me. :rotfl2:

So exciting that you found your dress!

I tried to comment on your dress on Facebook but every times tried to, my phone would lock up! You looked so pretty!!! Was it different than what you planned on? The dress I picked was so different than what I thought I wanted.

Thank you so much for posting your BEO. It's so helpful as I plan my 125 person wedding at the same venues!
I also loved your wording in your STD and hope you don't mind I took some sentences!

That totally makes sense in my head too! I just read your PJ- such cool ideas. I love the multicolored idea!

Thank you! It was totally different than what I planned on. I don't love lace, so that was different, and I expected to have more of a ball gown. It wasn't on my list of dresses to try on, but she brought it out and I couldn't get over how much better it looked on me.

Glad it could help! Feel free to steal anything you want- I stole so much from other Disbrides that the wedding is hardly my own!

This just in...

We have changed pretty much the whole wedding! Moved to a 7:30 ceremony, our Illuminations party is now our cocktail hour, and we are having our reception in the American Adventure Rotunda. Switching from buffet to plated. Aaaah crazy times 5 months before the wedding.

Amazing!! What made you change everything???? I LOVE the AAR! I can't wait to see your photos. I can't wait to hear the story behind your changes. Will it change your BEO a lot?
