...and other "best-articles-of-clothing-ever-invented".

Sooooo, what's not to love about yoga pants - easy to wash, look great, comfortable as all heck. Who's WITH me on this? Or, do you have a fave article of clothing that you just can't part with?

I love my fleece pajama pants and fuzzy warm socks. For daytime wear I love my windpants and flip-flops.

my UGG boots and my UGG slippers! They are the most comfortable 'shoes' I've ever worn!

Yoga pants are great....around the house or at yoga. :thumbsup2

Yep. Or if you are going to the grocery store on the way home from the gym.

I love them for the gym. But when you start wearing them with regular tops and shoes/boots (i.e., not sneakers) I'm not a fan.

Best clothes ever: Levis 501s or 517s, J.Crew perfect shirts, Frye boots, black slim fit lightweight ribbed turtlenecks. That's all I need.

I wear them to the gym or around the house, but I can't bring myself to wear them out in general. Maybe if I were built like a supermodel and could get away with making them look cute instead of sloppy, but I'm not, so I can't. :laughing: They ARE comfy though!

I asked my DM for yoga pants for Christmas. I thought I'd get those cheap comfy lounge things from Walmart.

Nope.

She got me $80 real yoga/exercise pants. DH says this is a sign I should start jogging again. . .and I kinda agree!

Love LOVE LOVE my yoga pants! I have a drawer full of them!

....not picking on you or anything, but I hear that alot. Why do people say they are sloppy? Mine are a nice chocolate brown (not even faded one bit), and go all the way to my shoes - they're not capris. Also, I wear them with a shirt the covers the wide band at the top. AThey actually look kinda cute and not messy at all!

Maybe she means they look sloppy on overweight people? :confused3 I've seen some large women out wearing them. Not my look, but if they are comfortable with that then all the power to them. Not something I would do, at least until I hit my goal weight. ;)

My banana hammocks!!! :banana:

:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl:

I guess I'm the lone dissenter here. I HATE YOGA PANTS. I HATE THE PERSON WHO INVENTED STRETCHY PANTS AND ELASTIC WAIST PANTS. Before all this was invented you KNEW when you put on a few pounds because you couldn't zip your jeans. Now, fuggetaboutit! :sad2: :rolleyes1 ;)

I didn't mean to imply everyone who wears them looks messy. I personally am just too self-conscious in them to wear them out in public besides at the gym. There's too much 'give' to the material that makes them just not ideal if you carry extra weight, they don't 'hold anything in' like a pair of jeans or tailored slacks. :laughing: Same reason I don't wear leggings, except under skirts or dresses. I dress to suit my body type, not highlight its flaws! :lmao:
