what others rave about and you just dont get it

Spaceship Earth and The Great Movie Ride:goodvibes
Oh yeah...and the giant turkey legs...or whatever they are. I get sick seeing people eating them...YIKES!

Agree about the Turkey Legs. After I saw them I HAD to have one. I did not know they were smoked and although I do enjoy some foods that are "smoked" the flavor on the Turkey leg was bad...really bad.

'Ohana. To me there is such a thing as too much meat! And just when you think you might conquer the heap on your plate, they bring more meat. Those guys with the skewers just kept popping up and seemed confused when I said "please, no more!"

Hollywood Studios! There are a few attractions we enjoy but overall, we don't like the park. We spend one day here, even when we spend 2-3 weeks at WDW. We also don't really see the fuss of TSM. We actually prefer the Buzz ride at MK.

BBB. We don't have kids in our party but I just don't really like the "look" especially the hair! It always looks so hard and uncomfortable and serious. If the girls and their families are happy then that's all that matters. I just don't see the big appeal, not after seeing the after product.

If you haven't tried them - you really don't know. I never have seen one that is *slimey, dripping, or meat hanging everywhere*. Little exaggeration maybe? My dh & I enjoy sharing one, but not the kind of your description. :confused3 They're not for everyone, just as any of the other snacks aren't. That's why we have so many choices. ;)

We smoke our Thanksgiving turkeys every year, as that's the way we prefer them.

Not an exaggeration....maybe not worded correctly. They look "wet" and slimey to me, and people are pulling the meat off in strips...ugghh, I dont have great words to describe it (sorry).
I agree that everything is not for everyone, but I thought that is what this thread was for...to tell what one person does not "get" that everyone likes. Hence the reason I posted the yucky looking turkey legs;) And nope, I will never try one...cant get past the "look" of them:)

Boring as we call it

And Adults on Its A Horrible World

Basically can understand Kids enjoying it and heck even mums and dads with there kids enjoying it but its the adults who go onto the ride by themselves and love every bit of it and take a billion pictures even tho they already have a billion pictures already i find it disturbing to be honest

Dole Whips
Fantasmic!
BBB
Most of the rides - LWtL, SSE and POC are really the only rides I "HAVE" to ride. The others are - meh. I don't go for the rides. I go for the atmosphere :)

Peter Pan's Flight. Sorry- I don't get the allure.
I absolutely will not ride it without a FP. Just not worth it to me.

I'm really torn on the BBB for that reason. I'm sure my daughter would love the experience but I can't see her lasting more than 20 minutes in that hair. My niece had it done on our first trip and she made it an hour before they had to take her back to the condo and let her shower. The hair gel/extensions combo was hot, sweaty and itchy.

For all of you hating on Duffy, I hope that you read his book first. The premise of Duffy if you buy one is to take photographs of him everywhere you visit ( like a travel gnome or Flat Stanley). That is what Mickey did in the book. Minnie made the bear for Mickey, and he took pictures of the bear for her on his voyage.

Huh. We have a different Duffy origins book.

Mickey was lonely in the MK. Tinkerbell pixie dusted his stuffed ebar and he came to life.

BTW, if you really dislike Duffy, stay away from TDL. He's HUGE there (figuratively and literally).

epcot.

Oh and Disney food, I only ate 1 thing there our whole last trip that actually tasted good, it was a pastry. Granted I only ate the one pastry as I don't eat much sweets. The meals I had there were less then par.

I'm with ya. O'hana was great back in day but not anymore. I love the dessert still tho but can make that @ home myself.

Jungle Cruise - My family LOVES it but I hate the repetitive lame puns and the eye-rolling, slightly disney-bashing attitude of the skippers. Just too snarky for me.

Turkey Legs - I don't mind the idea of a smoked turkey leg, but I wish they didn't serve them so that you see people walking along gnawing on them. I guess it just offends my sense of decorum, but some people go at them like a dog on a bone, and it just isn't appealing to me.

Fantasmic - The first couple times it was great, and I will ALWAYS love the music, but the show desperately needs updating, and we don't even bother with it anymore.

Duffy - Not at all unique; everybody has a bear. Plus, the hidden Mickey on his face creeps me out.

:cool1:

I love watching little girls rock the second and third day of a BBB hairdo. They start to look like tiny demented killer ballerinas, and it's absolutely adorable.

Downtown Disney.

I am a cheapskate, so the whole shopping thing doesn't appeal to me. Perhaps if they had some outlet stores, but they don't. The lego statues were pretty cool, but that's about it.

Have her do The Pirate League Empress or Mermaid package! Much more comfortable, TONS of fun and a lot cheaper! :)

If I am honest its a small world kind of freaks me out lol.

BBB

Turkey legs

So seeing a girl dressed from the BBB eating a turkey leg on its a small world would have me in therapy for months lol.

Illuminations. It's REALLY boring and it doesn't really make sense.

As for Fantasmic, I think DL's version of Fantasmic is 100x better and I think it's because of the viewing distance. There's no stadium for Fantasmic as at DHS, it's right on the Rivers of America and you're really close to all the action. In DHS, I feel you really need binoculars to see the characters.

Turkey Legs for me as well.. they just look gross and people eating them tend to look like cannibals. (They don't sell these in WDW, but I feel the same way about people who pay $6 for a giant pickle and eat that while walking around)

Don't like downtown Disney - feel it's a waste. If I'm not at a park, I would rather be relaxing at the resort.
