Nice to hear from you Paul. My back is killing me.

You should stop down in the summer. I'll take the boat out, you can fish and I can drink like a fish. :lmao:

You're on! :thumbsup2

I may partake in the drinking a bit too, you know, just to pass the time... ::yes::

Paul, I think my house is on the way and you could pick me up. Just saying.:rolleyes1

You know that CT is south of us, right? :confused3 How would your house be on the way in that scenario? :confused3

I'll pick you up on the way still, just curious. ;)

:lmao: NO TOUCH!!!!!

Gift Auction tomorrow for my local High School Marching Band, hope to win a nice stash of prizes:confused3, last year they did have Disney passes, I'll bring my little flashlight and expect each prize like Dave Hester checks a locker before putting my ticket in:lmao:

Ok back from the gift auction, they didn't have any Disney tickets, I did win 1 item, a Birthday party for 8 kids at the Imagine That museum (est. value $229) not bad for a $40 investment, it's a few miles away but my son and his friends will have a Great time:thumbsup2 (That's what it's all about)

Looks like another one is coming up on the 1st it's a Sandy benefit so they should have a ton of really good stuff, I'll have to bring some extra cash for this one:rolleyes1

Hope you don't get mad, but I'm gonna clog up the thread for a minute with some pictures from the blizzard.

From the side of the road where my mailbox is to the 'new' road is about 10-15 feet. I doubt I'll be getting mail for a few weeks.

They canceled school tomorrow. Some of the cities around us still have roads that aren't plowed yet. We are supposed to have freezing rain in the morning then rain. It is gonna be a mess out there because all the storm drains are covered. I am thankful that we never lost power.

Looks like he was having a blast! Great pic!

Make sure you check out the igloo tomorrow. The penguins might have taken up residence in there. :scared1:

The penguins have mobilized.

This is funny considering I have no idea what you 2 are talking about. :lmao:

Nice job with the auction. Time to rake in the goods with the next one! :thumbsup2

So are you all dug out now:confused3, when I was a teenager we took full advantage of the snow making a ton of cash shoveling, we would work as a team of 5 and get driveways done in no time, at the end of the day we would have a couple hundred bucks each:thumbsup2, not bad for the 80's but people will pay if you do a good job and can dig them out quick so they can go to work or at least try:rotfl2: You just don't see it too much anymore teenagers willing to do a little work to make some money, but then again today's teenagers at least around here sleep way too much:confused3

Nice job with the auction. Time to rake in the goods with the next one! :thumbsup2

There is a side note on these gift auctions:confused3, since 98% of people at these are women and 2% guys (most are seniors), the women tend to try to make conversation with you (especially the older ones:lmao:) well today I was checking out the prizes, we had not been able to find seats (mainly because everyone was up putting tickets in, so you could not really tell if any seats were available, coats were everywhere), a women starts making small talk with me about the prizes, I mentioned that after this table I was going to search for a seat for my wife and I, she quickly said they had 2 seats no one was using at their table so we went and dropped off our coats:thumbsup2, what a great table it was they had a ton of food that they insisted we help ourselves too:banana:,

TIM... great pictures!!!!!. the snow is fun when your a kid and dont have a care in the world. :lmao:
we had a storm like that a few years ago. after that, i went a bought a snow blower. im getting to old for that crap.:lmao:
now i cant believe i busted my hump for years shoveling.glad the power stayed on for you guys.:thumbsup2
