Let's Cruise Pkg Memory Box

I have debated ordering this:
"Let's Cruise Package
Item 2170

Commemorate your cruise with this decorative memory box and desk set. Designed to hold your cruise mementos, the memory box also includes a mini photo album and Captain Mickey picture frame. A 5-piece travel desk set completes the package: stapler, staple refills, tape, and LED alarm clock."

I think DD would like the memory box. Not so sure about the rest of the package though. Two questions: Can you buy this memory box by itself at the gift store? And, has anyone purchased this package and can you tell me if you liked it?

The package is the only way to get the memory box. They do not sell any at the gift shop. You can get photo albums and scrapbooks but they are not the ones offered as the package in addition to the memory box. We bought the Let's Cruise last spring as the Happy Birthday one was no longer available. We also appeared to have been one of the last to get the Wedding/Anniversary box back in 2011 as they do not offer that one anymore, either. I am still deciding if we want another Let's Cruise or if we will be getting the Congratulations box to be different, although I much prefer the graphics on the Let's Cruise box. ALso considering the Memories and More package as a gift for my MIL & FIL (40th anniversary on the cruise) and BIL & SIL (10th anniversary on the cruise).

ETA: I forgot to answer if I liked it! The box and photo album are great. I'm a collector of things, so I always use a memory box on the cruise. I have every single Navigator, ticket, flyer, drawings DD did at the clubs, etc. in each one. The little album is great to have a talking point set of pictures without seeming like a crazy packrat lady pulling out the memory box at a dinner party, ha. The frame and desk set and clock are still unopened, but I've only had a real desk for a couple of weeks so that may change. Not sure what I'd do with another one. But, again, it's the only way to get the memory box.

It's not a little box. Unless they changed it, it's the same size as ours. 11 in x 13 in and 2 1/2 in deep.

Yeah, I'm not sure where you got the idea that it's a little box. It's anything but. It holds full size sheets of paper and other things.

I did order it for her today, I know she will love to have a place to keep all her mementos from the cruise, especially since she will be doing an independent project for her 4th grade class when we get back... I really don't want to think about that phrase, "when we get back"

We should be getting ready to set sail this time next Saturday!!!!!

I didn't want you to be surprised by the size in case you were expecting something smaller.
Have a great time, just remember to leave room in the suitcase. We like ours we have 2.

You can't order it from the Internet; you can only see what it looks like ( a teeny tiny picture) and what the price and item number is. To actually order it you have to call it in or fax a completed order form. It's ridiculous.
