Disneywwjrb are from Aiken, South Carolina. Another southern mom, and I'm excited about the creativity running around on these posts. We went to Disney last week and my teenaged boys wore stuffed Stitch hats every day. You never got to old to flaunt your love for Disney, it seems!

Hi Cruisers!

I know I haven't been waiting for this trip as long as many of you ... but I'm giddy with excitement about this latest milestone!

To celebrate ... I've found this image (it has been used before) but thought it was a good one for us to use to help identify each other during our DISmeet onboard, as well as helping those participating in the FE exchange?! I was thinking everyone could download the image ... then use it as they'd prefer: a) Make stickers to wear that first day, once we are on board and meeting together, or if you're so inclined, make a t-shirt?! b) make a magnet for our cabin doors ... especially helpful for FE participants? I've figured out how to personalize these graphics on my own ... so I could work in the next 60 days, to add names for each family, even individual names, whatever you want!

I love the logo, very cute! On past cruises we have worn lime green leis to identify all the people for the meet. We have usually met in the lounge area since there never seemed to be a whole slew of people there. Can't wait to meet you all .

I'm so ready for this trip! My FIL has decided to join us for the cruise. My DH asked him casually one day when he was on the phone with him and he decided to jump aboard. He booked the lowest inside stateroom category since it's just him in the stateroom, so he's got a GTY. I'm having fun checking it every day to see if his room has been assigned.

I placed my order for bows this week, so I can't wait to see how those turn out!

I may have talked my DH into leaving a little earlier than we planned, so we may be able to have dinner in Port Canaveral. It all depends on how my DD is doing in school at that time and if her teacher is okay with her missing a day.

Thanks Liz! A button is a great idea too ... anything to make it easy for everyone to be able to create at home! Again, I could add names, and home town, even DISname?! So we can match up familiar names to faces!!

Always fun to have grandparents along! My parents came from AZ for our WDW vacations when my kids were little ... wanted the kids to have that memory with them! My dad passed away a year ago, but he would have NEVER stepped foot on a ship! Maybe I'll be able to talk my mom into coming one day!?

Unfortunately we won't be leaving until school gets out on Friday ... it wouldn't be a problem for us, but our friend's daughter just can't miss her last class (perfect attendance will get her extra points on her final grade ... hard to intentionally pass that up!) I'm a little worried about the traffic heading south at the later time, but nothing else we can do! We have hotel reservations at the Country Inn and Suites. They have a Cruise Package, includes breakfast plus parking for the week of your cruise WITH a shuttle service to and from the port terminal! We discovered it in 2008 and it's a great deal!

I love the idea of lime green leis! It's something light and easy to squish into luggage, which is a plus for those of us flying in. I also LOVE the logo you designed, Lisa. I think it would make a great sticker or shirt, for those so inclined.

I, as a first time Disney cruiser, have no idea where to recommend. I am just going to be a follower on this cruise.

When we were on the Dream, we held the DisBoards meet in D Lounge. I assume there is one on the Fantasy? It's on Deck 3. We had the whole place to ourselves since the entertainment hadn't started yet in there, and very few people even walked by . We met at 3pm and visited for about 20-30 minutes, then left to get ready for the lifeboat drill.

Duh on me! Totally forgot about the safety drill when I posted that earlier! No one will be able to hang around for too long! I've only been on the Magic twice, and they had lines out the doors of Rockin' Bar D; folks signing up for Palo. Guess I assumed other lounge areas were also being used?! I'm up for anywhere! (and have to keep reminding myself there's still time! It's not next week ... yet!)
