My wife and I are spending 7 nights in WDW. Right now we have the boardwalk inn water view room booked for 4/15-4/20. We need to choose a resort for 4/13-4/15. Grand Floridian? Polynesian? Contemporary MK view? Port Orleans Riverside? Swalphin? Old Key West? Art of animation?

Let me hear your suggestions!

I would choose the Poly because I think it is a beautiful resort with the trees and pathways and the beach. Plus you have the monorail and the boat launch. Full disclosure though - I just stayed there so I am still on that last resort high.

GF because it would be a splurge for us. Plus, if I was already staying at an Epcot resort, I would want my other resort to be near a different park. I would pick GF CL TPV.

We would choose the Polynesian, without a doubt. Check out my sig line though, it's our favorite! Club level Theme Park View can't be beat! :goodvibes

poly CL, MK view...Youll LOVE it...Beyond Great ..

if its not really a splurge you're after..., I happen to think POR is a great moderate that is both lovely with the meandering walkways, the options for inside/outside bar for adults, Boat to DTD, romantic carriage rides, and leisure pools in addition to the main pool area to just relax and perhaps veg out after all the parks...., and a restaurant on premise...preferred room only...

whatever you choose! pixiedust:

I'd choose GF because it would definitely be a splurge! However, I just stayed at AoA and it was a fun place. If you're looking to try something different to try, and aren't just looking for something luxurious, I'd say give AoA a shot. After all- its only two days if you're not in love with your stay!

So tempted by the grand floridian! The poly only has club level available so it might be toooo much of a splurge for us. Contemporary Theme Park View vs Grand Floridian seems to be what I'm leaning towards!

boardwalk in water view...I am not a resort changer, I like to check in and settle in for my10+ days. For me, changing resorts is never worth the inconvienience

Why wouldn't you just stay at BWI for the week?

Got major pixie dust last year and spent 6 days at the Poly in a TPV room. Best view EVER. I will miss that place :(

Love the GF. The views, the lobby, the atmosphere! Just beautiful! Stayed there years ago. Can't wait for GF DVC so we can stay again! Have a great time!
