Hahaha, I'm sorry, I totally laughed at the Tiki Room thing. Matt grew up LOVING it, but hasn't insisted that we go see it yet. Maybe when we go again and we want some AC? But that didn't sound like a ton of fun! You were nice and probably wise not to rub it in Brandon's face though, hahaha.

I've never seen Pirates closed either! That is a mega bummer, it's one of my favorites to go on at night! Which I know sounds weird since it's indoors but I love MK at night plus Adventureland, so basically it's just fun.

PEOPLEMOVER! I've always loved this one a lot but on our recent trip I wanted to ride it over and over again! Seriously. It's just got everything.

Haha I'm sorry about Buzz! I love that one, too! Matt is meh about it, but rides it because I always want to. I just love shooting the laser, though half the time I do bad, then sometimes I'll randomly hit one of the 100,000 targets and do well! I need to do some studying of those targets before our next trip!

Winnie the Pooh is one of my favorites ever.

OH THAT ICE CREAM SANDWICH!! When I read it just now on your TR, I told Matt we need to get that next trip since MSB will be open again!

Sometimes you just hit a wall and your plans to stay late don't work about, but midnight is darn good! We've never gone when the parks are open later, so I've only ever stayed til like... 9 or 10, hahaha. But there is nothing worse than when your feet are just HURTING and all you want is to be back in your room and not walk anymore.

I need to see what time we actually left on my photo time stamps, but it was awful in tomorrowland and we gave up. I think in the first hour. I know I wasn't feeling well too, so maybe that magnified the crowds in my mind.

Omg I totally get your fear of losing things on Space! I always hold onto my bag for dear life because of course it's too big to fit into the tiny little bag holder!

That ice cream sandwich looks really good!

Great update! I love MK EMH. There is something so great about MK at night (or in the day, or any time really lol). I am not sick of seeing the castle pictures, I could look at them all day!! That cookie sandwich looks delicious - and huge! It's too bad that you didn't get to stay until 3am, but it sounds like you had a good night, and your body could use the rest!

Thanks! MK EMH are always so much fun! We always get really tired and never end up staying very long, so i was impressed with us staying until after 1am this time!

I love that cookie sandwich, it's just so yummy! I'm glad there are other places to get one now, but I'll miss it at the Main Street Bakery!

I took DH to see the Tiki room because I felt like it's just something you had to see at some point. We agreed it's terrible but it was necessary.

Me too!!! I love the Peoplemover SO much, I could spend hours on there! And then you're right, the next few hours on Soarin'! Perfect!

Mark said to tell you that the reason Pirates was closed is because you were being punished for saying mean things about his Tiki Birds. He loves that corny show and I grudingly go once a year with him to see it (and it is a good spot to cool off for a bit).

We didn't do anything EMH's at night in December because they didn't coordinate with our schedule so I don't know how the crowds were. I do know that we got alot done on the party night though.

You got great shots of the iced castle.

I did feel really bad for that show (I'm weird, I feel bad for unpopular attractions) when I was sitting there, being tortured by the awful songs! I suppose I can see how it would be a nice place to escape the heat in the summer for a little while!

Yes, parties are usually an awesome time to get a lot done! The party we went to was sold out, but we still did a lot of things that night! It was so different from being at a sold out MNSSHP!

Thank you! I was directly under the castle for most of those shots, and Brandon was just standing there, bored out of his mind, then I look over and I see another couple doing the same thing! A girl taking tons of up close pics of the castle, and her boyfriend/DH just standing around, waiting for her!

I could have stayed til 3am if my feet didn't hurt so much! And if we didn't have to get up early the next day! Oh well, I'm sure I'll do it someday! Whenever I take my solo trip in the summer and the parks are open late!

I love going on Pirates at night too! And the Haunted Mansion! And I don't know why, because they are indoors...maybe because it seems more realistic if you leave the ride and it's dark outside? I don't know! I was sad that it was closed, but we ended up riding it later in the trip!

The Peoplemover is the best!!! I just love sitting back and looking at the whole park and hearing those wonderful Tomorrowland sounds! I am so in love with Tomorrowland, it's insane!

I like how the Buzz ride looks, it's all neon and crazy in there, but I just cannot figure out what I'm doing!

Mine too! I always get so sad when Winnie the Pooh has a long wait time, because I love it so much!

YES you guys have to get the ice cream sandwich! I thought I read that it won't be at the MSB once it becomes Starbucks, but I think you can get it at the Plaza? I don't know, I can't keep up with all of these changes!

I wish we could have stayed til the end, but it just didn't work out! My feet were killing me! How did you end up doing with that during your trip? I know we talked about this before, and we both have similar problems! Did you use that soap you bought to soak your feet? I need all the tips I can get, since I'm going in 9 days!

Oh, and I've been keeping up with your DLR TR, I just haven't had a chance to comment! I have to say though, I LOVE your pictures of the castle, with all of the decorations on it! I wish they put garland and stuff on Cinderella Castle too, it just looks so festive!

I know, so do I!! I actually wrap the strap of my bad around my leg, and then tightly around my wrist so I know it's not going anywhere! I never trust those bag holders, I feel like everything will just fly out of there!

Nighttime EMH at MK is the best, and it's even better during the holidays. Your photos of the Castle made me wish I were there with the Dream Lights on! You can never have too many photos of the castle lit up like that.


Sorry you weren't able to make it until 3am, I know that was a goal of yours, but it sounds like you needed the rest. Disney can tire you out, and you still managed to do some favorites.
