MRYPPNS - to answer your question about Trails End.....Yes, they have chicken breasts available as well as legs and thighs. Both fried and rotisserie. And as far as the kids go, there is pizza and Mac and cheese, but no fries or chicken nuggets. But the fried chicken is amazing! It is one of our families favorite restaurants on property.

Great to see the Dine with an Imagineer update!! The soup and salad looked great. Sad that the filet was overdone. I hate when cooks ruin meat...it's cruel and unusual punishment!

Can't wait to see the updates from DLP! That cup of porridge from Starbucks was too cute!

"My lunch was at the Market House Deli on Main Street."

"Cheese, pesto and sun dried tomato bruschetta (it was around 7 Euros)."


"This was really good. The pesto and sun dried tomatoes added great flavor. It's a really nice place to stop for lunch and it had a great view of Main St."

'Whilst waiting for the parade I picked up a cappuccino and a wonderful 20th anniversary chocolate cookie. Mmm - delicious! The coffee in Disneyland Paris is actually pretty good and the cookie was great!"

"I sat outside in a little courtyard and the sun was shining which is very lucky for a February day in Paris."

"I am staying at the Hotel New York so I popped into the "New York City Bar" for a pre-dinner drink. This was a glass of the 20th anniversary Merlot and it was excellent. It was served with nuts and olives."

"It's a really nice bar, good atmosphere and friendly staff."




Then Linda's dinner was at...

"Earl Of Sandwich is in the Disney Marketplace (essentially Downtown Disney) and is directly opposite my hotel. The food is every bit as good as in Orlando - I really enjoyed this. I even practiced my French when I ordered it." ;-)

"We split the shredded beef pita for one entrée and the fruit salad for the other. The presentation of the fruit salad in a half pineapple was so fun, and it was a huge amount of cool, refreshing fruit...just what our refined sugar-filled bodies needed!
I would happily order both items again!"

Apple Blossom Dessert - apple pastry served warm with vanilla ice cream


"My pics from dinner at the POR quick service somehow vanished. All that remains is this photo of the apple blossom.
We've eaten several of these and expect to have at least one more before we leave Friday." ​

Grand Floridian Cafe

Panko crusted Lump Crab Cake - Carrot, parsnips, and celery root slaw, chipotle tartar sauce


elleavon said, "I started with a crab cake. No one wanted to share. Lucky me!"





"Griff had the New York strip. He said, "It was good, cooked right, smashed potatoes were awesome." I had the Grand Floridian burger. Obviously, putting lobster on a burger is a splendid idea."

Grand Floridian Burger - Angus chuck burger, buttered poached lobster with red onion marmalade, crispy prosciutto and arugula on a Brioche bun with chips

Grilled Pork Chop served with black eyed peas and arugula



"Hannah had the pork chop, which was tasty, but she didn't like the black eyed peas and arugula it was served on. Our fabulous server, Martin, happily brought her some brown rice instead. This was the best service of our trip."




Then for their dessert...

Dessert Sampler - includes Fresh berry tart, Boston cream pie, key lime tart, lemon cheesecake and a chocolate Mickey

Good morning everyone!

I received an update last night from elleavon!


She had just finished having dinner at AKL's...



BOMA

"First plate: Macaroni and cheese, tomato and eggplant salad, spinach with quinoa salad, artichoke lemon salad."

Roasted chicken, carved roast sirloin, some kind of beef, and lamb quiche

elleavon said, "I was pretty cautious, not having any idea what I was eating. Everything turned out to be pretty good. My favorite was the carved sirloin with 4 dipping sauces. None of them was too hot for me, and I'm kind of wimpy when it comes to spicy food."

DISNEYLAND PARIS



Here was Linda's next update, "Mid morning snack was at Salon Mickey."

"Salon Mickey is a private club for Disneyland Paris shareholders. It's located next to the entrance turnstiles.
You have to knock using the brass door knocker to get in - very cool."




Here's a couple of interior pics...

"Once you enter Salon Mickey you are offered a choice of pastries and cookies. There is a fridge with juice and water and coffee, tea, cappuccino, and hot chocolate are available - all complimentary."

"I had a cappuccino and this yummy pan au chocolate. It's actually filled with a chocolate/hazelnut filling (a bit like Nutella) and was delicious with a capital D!"

"The hostess insisted I take a cookie for later. I took a quick photo and popped it in my bag.
I haven't had it yet but it sure looks good."

"Walt seemed happy with my choice of pastries."

Pizzeria Bella Notte

"This is a very nice counter service restaurant that specializes in Pizza, Pasta and Salads. I was struggling to find an places with non-meat options so when I saw that they had a vegetarian pasta, I hopped right in."

"Isn't the box cute?!"

"Not a great pic but it tasted better than this photo looks."


"This is Fusilli Napolitana - 7.30 euro. Basically it was just pasta with a tomato sauce. I was a little disappointed not to see any chopped veggies in the sauce, but I have to say this was actually very tasty and the sauce was really tasty. The portion size was just right as well." ​
