I like the change. One thing not mentioned in this thread is that the paint a supposed to be more reflective making the busses safer at night.
~Thanks for posting this! At first glance, I hated the bus, but now I see how it's all tied together with the history of the monorail, so I'm just indifferent to it! I hope they complete the look by painting the monorails, too! When I think of Florida, I like to think of sunshine & tropical colors. I guess that's too cliche' lol, because the new colors are in stark contrast of that notion, which is probably the point.Kind of early 60s retro. Classic red, white, and black Mickey colors.
Scarlet and Gray - - fantastic choice!!! Go Bucks!!
I really liked the zany look the buses had...

~LOL! This is too funny. Did the buses really look this bad, lol?!?
We could go back to this! I remember when the current busses were coming out. They looked awesome compared to the old reddish stripe.

Back in the 80's and early 90's people didn't care or complain what the buses looked like because, you know, it's just a bus.
~Thanks! This is super cool, I love this! Wow, we really have it good, today!Yup. I remember those buses quite well. You can even see in that picture the less faded square of paint on the line above the front wheel where the old Route Flag was placed.
As a bit of cool history....
the Early 80's route flag chart
And then an Early 90's version....
As you can see, in order to get to the MK Everyone used to route thru the TTC, even resort guests. It wasn't until the early 90's that the MK Bus loop came into existance and resort buses started dropping off at the front of the park.
~Or is it? I think you're right, lol.Back in the 80's and early 90's people didn't care or complain what the buses looked like because, you know, it's just a bus.
