I am confused about TIW. One area said, a AP holder and DVC member can get one. Another said if you are DVC member just go to guest relations services to buy one.

We are DVC member but not yet AP holders so we are wondering if we can get TIW or not.

Yes, you can buy one. I believe for DVC members they are $100 dollars and give you 20% off most restaurants.

Yes, DVC members can purchase one, and currently the price is the same for DVC members and passholders at $100, or $50 for a secondary partner card. However I do believe they must be purchased in person from guest relations.

Actually, DVC members or Florida residents may purchase the TiW card for $100. If you have an annual pass, you may purchase the card for $75.

Thanks! I was taking my info from the TIW website (quoted below) so perhaps there has been a change or perhaps their website is out of date!

"Join Tables in Wonderland now!

Prices went up on 12/1/2012. FL Residents now pay $125, AP & DVC Members pay $100.

Looks like I missed the price increase. Sorry, Becca.

Thanks to both you and Michael for the correction to my correction! :teeth:

OP, also remember that you have to spend over $500 to save anything with TIW. Personally, I love it!

Spending 500 is easy to do at disney

I totally agree. Don't forget that TIW is typically good for up to 13 months so it's really easy to get multiple trips' use out of them. We just returned from our 4th trip and used it every day. Even saved 20% on a half gallon of orange juice, a dozen eggs and 2 cupcakes at Artist's Palette.

We got ours last June and used it that trip then again in nov then jan and it will be used in April as well.

That's huge-can you hit the bar at ESPN for drinks only and get 20% off?

Since the ESPN Club offers the TiW discount, yes.

Thank you. Kids are 21 plus now so we tend to head over there later.

Thank you everyone!

Our trip is in Dec and no plans (yet!) to go back in 2014 and 2015 (we are going to Asia & Australia) so it may not be worth it for us unless we often eat at 2 TS restaurant.

If we dine at California Grill and got expensive entrees plus 1 alcohol drink each for 4 adults, is that $200 already? Never been to California Grill.

Without a doubt that will come to $200 easy at CA Grill with 4 adults. Also remember there is an automatic 18% gratuity put back onto the bill. I like to think the TIW card saves me the cost of tips. Which in and of itself can be a huge savings. DH and I tend to do at least 2 signature meals a trip and we have been none to imbibe an adult beverage or two at the various bars around Disney. Over the course of a trip it is very easy to get up to $500 spent on dining and drinks. We can also almost always get at least two trips on a single TIW card.

We were actually able to get the discount on Grand Marnier Slushies in the France Pavilion on a previous trip.

Not sure if that was a fluke or not, but you never know! It doesn't hurt to ask!

:thumbsup2

Okay, a bit confused. I know with the DDP, everyone in your party must be on the plan. I was checking TIW out and though I read that the card was good for up to 9 members in your party. This seemed to make sense since they are giving a set discount. Did I read that wrong?
