BWI club level idea

I am only interested in club level if we get a boardwalk view. Is it possible to upgrade at check in to club level? If so perhaps front desk could inform us if boardwalk view room is available for club level and we could decide then? It's so annoying that there is no club level boardwalk/crescent lake view booking category!!

Couple of things here:

1) You can ask at check-in, but you run the risk of them being completely booked.

2) I think the lounge has a BW view, so even if you got a garden view room, you could still enjoy the view from the lounge. We did this at CR, booked a lake view CL room (that was all that was available via AP discount) and enjoyed the MK view from the lounge.

When is your trip again? That will help determine how much luck you'll need to upgrade at check-in.

It can be done but the desk cannot carry over any discount you may have so the new room would be at rack rate.

Honestly, someone at the regular front desk may or may not know if a boardwalk view club level is even available as they don't typically deal with any room assignments and may not be aware which rooms have the view.

The booking category of CL Deluxe room will guarantee you a Boardwalk View at CL.

This as for regular cl BWI you pay one price and may get a pool view a garden view or boardwalk view. All those views are the same price but cannot be guaranteed on which view you get. I stayed deluxe boardwalk as you are guaranteed bw view and it is a much larger room than the standard rooms and sleeps 6 plus one under three

This is a great idea if the view is that important and you would have the extra space. If I remember correctly there are 10 of these. If you want to be close to the lounge you may want to request 4th floor we have stayed on the 3rd floor and loved the huge balcony our room had.

The lounge at the BWI has a Epcot view only. No Boardwalk view. If they have it be prepare to pay the difference :)

If you want a BoardWalk view...why don't you book one? In CL, there is no guarantee, and my understanding is that there are very few CL rooms that face the BoardWalk. Why don't you book a BoardWalk view, and then you know you'll be happy?

I did book a boardwalk view room, but it's not club level.

Unfortunately no deluxe club level rooms are available for our trip (April 13-20, 2013). There is NO chance in heck I'd ever pay rack rate for club level, that's just insanity unless they are serving diamonds along with the champagne.

My dream has always been a boardwalk view room, so it looks like club level will have to wait. Bummer though because it was onto going to be $200 more and would be well worth it!

We were just at BWI CL a few weeks ago. It was nice but since view is so important to you I would just stick with what you have. There is a nice lounge called the Belle Vue Lounge down on the lobby level for hanging out and having a drink, they also serve continental breakfast there. Really that's all you're missing out on anyway.

In CL they are either Epcot/garden view or Boardwalk views. The view is a request as they are the same price unless you get a deluxe room or a suite. They can request an odd number room they she/he will get a Boardwalk room. There are plenty of Boardwalk view some not as great as some :)

I know you were joking about the diamonds but they don't serve champagne at the BWI CL. I don't think they serve it at any club levels at Disney although not sure about RPC at the Grand Floridian.

This is an outrage!!
