Chris & Danielle SeaBreezePoint/Attic Wedding June 2013! :)*Updated Dress Pics*

Just caught up on everything and just had to say wow I am in love with it all! I am a hopeful UK Disney bride to be with visions of a vintage / peony theme too, so will be following along with your plans for sure!

And from one graphic designer to another (well to your future DH!) all your stationery is amazing! :) happy planning and all the best x

Thanks for following along! I shared your comment about our stationery with the DF and this made him so happy! He gets a little frustrated with it at times and when he hears comments like this after all that work it really makes him so happy!

Hi! I've been trying to catch up on all the pjs and now I'm caught up on yours! Your proposal story is super sweet and I love your engagement pictures! All your DF's work on the stationery is amazing. It's so cool that he did those!

I am a fan of garden roses and peonies too but our date is in October so garden roses it is!

Loved reading so far, can't wait to follow more!

Thank you for following along! Def make sure to ask disney about the flowers because you never know what they will say! It seems like at times they tell different brides different things.

Newbie here. I have been on the disboards for about 1 year here randomly, and an AVID Disney fan. But recently the idea of a Disney wedding has become more than just a dream for me (hoping for 2014!) so ... you are my for PJ to follow and subscribe to!!! :cool1:

Anyways, I am looking forward to following along with you and CONGRATS!popcorn::

Awesome! Thank you so much for following along with our plans! You should def go for the disney wedding! I mean to everyone on here it feels like we are all doing the same thing but for your guests it is so unique and exciting! I know all our guests are super excited because it will be like a vacation for them. On top of that everytime I mention where I am getting married to people they think it is so cool and different! :rotfl:

Hello Ladies!

Well we have not gotten a lot done recently. I have been pretty busy with my new job and have been sick with the flu. NOT FUN! First I must mention that I am kinda upset with our DFTW coordinator and the florist. I talked to our florist Rosie the last week of november and she told me it would take a couple weeks to put together some pricing for me and that she would send some pictures so I could choose a vase for our reception centerpieces as well. Well that was about 6 WEEKS AGO! What the heck? I have not heard one thing from her! UGH!
I am also waiting to hear back still about our menu for our reception from the chef's and from our wedding planner and we have been working on it for like a month and a half! We did want to change things a bit but I wrote her on monday this week asking her if she has heard anything and have not heard anything back. I mean she could at least write back and let me know she hasn't heard anything right? Maybe I am just being crazy but it is frustrating trying to budget for your wedding that is almost 4 months away and still don't know the prices for ANYTHING!
Has anyone else had issues like this or is it just me?

June 17th
-we will do a quick service lunch today and then we will hit the road to go back home :worried:

I guess I should not have said that we finalized plans since most of our nights we are still not sure about. I am actually proud of us though because any other time we go to Disney we make it a habit to plan to go to the park everyday and we end up running around the entire vacation. Then we come back feeling like we need a vacation after our vacation lol! But since this is our honeymoon we want to make it a point to really enjoy each other and have time together to relax and reflect on getting married.

We are so excited! Although we do have quite a way to go still to save money. But anyway we will be posting pictures of our programs soon and hopefully posting our BEO soon!

Wow just got caught up on your PJ! :wave2: I love your stye and theming, really soft and romantic! Your engagement photos are especially beautiful.

I am planning a Sea Breeze Point wedding for 2014 and I love your ideas, I really can't wait to see the finished result! Not long now, you must be so excited.

Will definitely be following to see what happens next - all of your individual touches are fab!

Hello Ladies!

First off I have to thank you all so much for the sweet comments about the work we have done on the wedding so far. I love seeing everyone following along on our journey and I love seeing your plans coming together as well!
Wedding planning is not easy but you ladies make it easier with all of your support!

So tomorrow is my birthday and I am uber excited because my wonderful DF bought us VIP tickets to the Bridal Extravaganza in Atlanta tomorrow which means I get to meet DAVID TUTERA! I love David so much that I might even be one of those freaks that cries! HA j/k. But I will for sure put pictures up for everyone.

On to the fun stuff...while spending the day with the DF and my parents last weekend my mom and I bought necklaces for the girls as well as matching earrings. They were a little expensive since they are Ralph Lauren but I thought that they went with our vintage theme really well and I wanted to buy them something a little upscale.

This is my Maid of Honor's Necklace. Her's is two strands and my bridesmaid is one. And these are my Maid of Honor's matching earrings while my bridesmaid will have the matching pearl studs. My Bridesmaid is a junior so I figured that would suit her well.

The DF also ordered these duffle bags for the guys which we are working on getting monogrammed for them. We thought that this was an interesting and different type of gift for them vs. the usual flask, watch etc. We mentioned before the shoes we bought all the guys and we will also be gifting those.

I am also putting some snacks and drinks in their bags for them as a little welcome since all of our other guests are getting welcome baskets.

In other news I couldn't figure out what to do with our hour of photography that was included in our package. Since we are bringing in our own photographer our wedding coordinator told me to call the Disney Photographers and schedule a portrait session for either before or after the wedding. So after some heavy pondering I decided to schedule a portrait session on the 8th after my makeup & hair trial with my Maid of Honor who has been my best friend my entire life. We have never really had professional pictures taken of us since we were about 2 or 3 years old so I figured that would be really nice. We will be taking our pictures at Port Orleans Riverside since we both like that resort and used to stay there a lot with our family.

I also just had my second phone conference with Rosie the florist that went pretty well. We cut our cost down a little and made a couple changes and as soon as she sends me our official BEO I will post the prices to give you all an idea for your own budgeting. I know in the early stages of planning it really helped me to look at other couples BEO's. From looking at those and gathering prices together you wouldn't believe that the budget I set for my floral was a mere $20 off of what our total was. HA! and the best part was that we were $20 UNDER budget!

I still have not heard anything back from our wedding coordinator which is no real surprise. She only really contacts me when she needs stuff from us which sucks but I am trying not to think about it too much. I guess it is just the breaks with an Escape wedding.

I am about to order my bridal sash and shoes and possibly pick up some goodies at the bridal show :) I will fill you all in again soon!
Happy wedding planning!

Hey ladies I promised I would update with report on the Atlanta Bridal Extravaganza.

Well the DF and I got up at about 8 this morning since check in starting at 10. We made some breakfast at the house and then headed out at 9 so we had time to park and get in line. During our vip check in we were given goody bags from The Knot and then we were led into the area to buy David's books for the book signing. Chick-fila was also in this area serving breakfast and other goodies.

We did not wait long for them to usher us into the Bridal show. Here are some pictures of some wonderful floral and inspiration that was on display at the show. I figured I would take lots of pictures to maybe help you with your weddings.

This would be great for a little mermaid themed wedding. I kept thinking of flounder with the pops of yellow!

He is signing my Disney Weddings book he wrote here and was explaining that he was going to be down in Disney next week for the Disney bridal show which I knew and I was sad to let him know we could not make it because of work and everything. But he seemed excited that I was a Disney bride and he was really great about pulling Chris in for a picture as well.

We had a good time!

Happy birthday! :bday: looks like you're having a great time at the bridal extravaganza!

I love the necklace and earrings you got your bridal party, so pretty! I'm sure they'll love them :goodvibes I think the gym bags are a great idea for the guys and they'll be even more awesome when they're personalized. I agree with you completely that it's better to think outside the box with their gifts and not give the traditional flasks etc.

Oh goodness!!! Where to begin? I just love EVERYTHING!!! Your dress, the invitations, your engagement photos. It's all lovely and perfect and you will make a beautiful bride.

Congratulations!!!

My hubby and I also wanted to have a reception at The Attic because we love the Boardwalk so much, but we keep hearing it's a nightmare to book there when you are not a DFTW bride. So we are opting for something at the Swan where are ceremony is being held. Oh well, maybe for our 25 year vow renewal.:rotfl:

I can't wait to follow your planning straight till your big day.

Hello Ladies!

This is kinda late but I hope everyone had a great valentines day! There has been a lot going on for us with the wedding recently. First off we just switched planners from Kathleen Reynolds to Kristin Kimberlin. I hate to sound like a complainer but I felt like with Kathleen we were not receiving good customer service and the experience we wanted through Disney. It was going on two months that we still had not heard anything about our menu and it seemed like everything we wanted she shot down quickly. I have heard of other brides having the same issues with her and others who loved her so I am not sure why we had issues with her but moving on...we are so thrilled to be working with Kristin!!! She is amazing and has already figured out half of the things we tried to work with Kathleen on in a matter of a week! YES this girl is amazing!

Our first concern was we were going to have to move our reception venue to St. James which we were not thrilled about. The Attic is not great with our guest count because we have exactly 20 including the DF & I. Which means 4 of our guests would be stuck outside in the heat while everyone else is seated inside. I did not really like the sound of that and the amount of tables was never mentioned to me so I started freaking when I saw a picture of the attic and only 4 tables on the DIS a couple weeks ago. But we decided to put the two kids that will be attending the wedding together at a smaller table located in the space and then Chris & I will hopefully have a sweetheart table added(I have seen these in other pictures). I just could not let go of the Attic. It has a great view, most people cannot access it unless they have a private event, and the space is so great itself that we will not need to add a whole lot of decor.

Now we finally settled our Menu with the Chefs. I don't know if I have mentioned this or not but I am Celiac which means I am VERY allergic to gluten. So it was important to us that our whole buffet be gluten free. The chefs were not great at working with us on this :( At first we wanted to do a brunch with gluten free mickey waffles but they told us they could not do this due to the waffle makers being used with regular waffle mix. This doesn't really make sense to me because I am offered gluten free waffles every place I go on property. Not sure about that one but after being told that we decided to go for a lunch buffet. Here is our menu!

Cocktail Hour
Strawberry Soup from 1900 Park Fare serviced in martini glasses
Cheese & Grapes Display
Sparkling Cider served in champagne glasses

Buffet
Oven Roasted Baked Chicken Stuffed with Prosciutto, Spinach, and Fontina
Carved to order Ham with Honey Mustard and Pineapple Compote
Bacon Cheddar Mashed Potatoes
Seasonal Vegetables
Brown Derby Cobb Salad with Red Wine Dressing

Drinks
Peach Iced Tea garnished with Peaches and Strawberries
Lemonade
Water
Coffee

and then we will have our cake of course but I might add a dessert station or something else not sure yet. But then Chris and I made these wedding tees for the girls and I with iron-on's we ordered from Etsy. I think they turned out really cute!

6E18F646-6626-4B44-A03C-AE6B366BA995-1904-0000020CEEA1BD4F_zpsd93ee48f.jpg

Not a great picture...sorry!

Also we have a lot of stuff in the works that I will post soon. We just ordered our guest book and my bridal sash from Etsy which will be here soon. I will also post pictures of my shoes! We also have started working on our reception that we will have at home when we get back from the honeymoon so I will be posting the info on that as well. We are also thinking of having our own little dessert party the night of the wedding but not sure what to do yet. We didn't want to add one because we are already spending a lot. We were thinking maybe buying our guests ice cream at the Beaches & Cream and then watching the fireworks together near Epcot. But that is not sounding great to me. Any ideas anyone?

Thank you for following along! Honestly it has been a little bit of a nightmare! But I feel like the space is so worth it for some reason lol!

I agree with you completely. We've since booked The Attic for our luncheon and so far all is well. Our catering dept rep is just awesome. I bug her all the time and she doesn't seem to mind.:rotfl2:

Just jumping in...I'm an Escape bride doing SBP and the Attic but I'm in April...so soon, ahh! We also have Kristin as our planner.
