Main Street Bakery Reopening?

I know the MSB is being refurbed into a Starbucks, but I was wondering, is there a specific date for when it's going to be open? All the articles I've found say either early or midsummer, which isn't very specific, and my family is going to be down there June 14-22. We're big MSB fans and we're hoping that our favorite breakfast on property will still be there. Thanks so much!

Since it just went down I don't think a specific date has been listed. Probably as they get closer to wrapping up they'll drop a date or week.

Can someone tell me if this will be an actual Starbucks location or will it be more like the counters inside the Barnes and Noble stores which it serves starbucks coffee?

I don't know how to compare it to either of those. The theme will still be MSB style and it will offer SB drinks/snacks along with MSB goodies. To what extent? No one really knows.

They just did this type of thing over at DCA if you want to check that out and get a feel for what will probably be happening at WDW.

My oldest has an interesting question about the Starbucks MSB... will they accept Starbucks giftcards as payment like the Landry's locations do? He got one for Christmas and is trying to decide if he should hang on to it or not.

I know that target and barnes and noble do not except SB cards in s. Florida so I would guess not. But I doubt anyone will know for sure until it reopens and someone tries it.

I've heard May 18th from various sources to.
I remember the date because I am there until May 16th, so will miss the opening by a few days. I don't care for coffee or Starbucks but would like to see it opened.

The DLR location doesn't accept Starbucks giftcards. We don't know about the MK location however it's a reasonable guess that they won't.

When WDW put this out, there was a major upraising agianist it, mostly becuase guests were afraid they would not be able to get thier long time favorite MSB baked goods.

Disney put out a new statement confirming that the MSB baked items stay and Starboucks would be selling there coffee and specaillty drinks.

I was one for those in favor of the MSB goods staying.

Good to know about the Target not accepting Starbucks Gift cards at the stores there. Here in NC, we can use are Starbucks cards at the Target locations.
