Supposedly the announcement of the new ititneraries is going to be on the 11th. Platinum & Gold bookings on the 12th and everyone else on the 13th.

Yep. This. ^^^^^

I like the 9-night Alaska itinerary - except for Tracy Arm. However, knowing how Disney prices new itineraries, that will be a very expensive Alaska cruise.

Based on the schedule for the Wonder and Magic into May 2014 - I still think it will be the Magic that returns to Europe, and the Wonder that goes to Alaska, The Wonder can have a major dry dock in Victoria, just as other cruise lines have done.

Re: dates being released while onboard that happened for us in December. Those at the future cruise sales desk are happy to book for you, and you can book on gold/platinum early day as well.

This might work better than expected! Need to decide on a TA right away to be able to book on board the way I want it and put down the TA name. This time I'm using AAA but only cause I caught a gift card special in addition to the photo package. With another TA I'll have a better OBC specially if I go for a 7night.

Now need to decide on which cruise (dream or fantasy) and if it'll be a xmas or new year's cruise right away then - I will assume 2013 opening day rates even though they'll be higher...

You aren't kidding. I couldn't even book a standard run-of-the-mill western Caribbean that included Jamaica in Aug 2014 because of the crazy pricing. $5800 for 2A 1C in a 5E, or $5200 for an 8A or $4200 in an 11C. People have booked because I priced it again this week & the 5E is over $6400 or $5800 for the 8A. Really? For a 7-night western Caribbean? I usually get TWO 7-night cruises for $6000. Ugh.

I've heard about what's coming & some sound amazing, but I am sure they are going to be pricy. Big time. DCL certainly has a history of it......

I'm glad I have very good sales resistance when it comes to paying DCL's bloated prices.

Any word on what the FANTASY and the DREAM will be doing in the last part of 2014?? Would love for DCL to continue with the San Juan stops since I didn't get to take one of those cruises. I'm so tired of Nassau!! I love Castaway Cay but wish DCL would find some new and EXCITING ports of call!! Anyone know yet?? Can' wait for the 11th!! It can't come soon enough! Hope I won't be disappointed like I was for 2013!

Don't expect much for the Dream - the 3 & 4 nighters are DCL's bread & butter. Departure dates may change, but those ports won't.

There is some exciting stuff that if its true, will be fun!!!!! Stay tuned!!!

Since Xmas and New years are on a Thursday, they'll have to swap the 3n and 4n - or would they do a 5n Double Dip? I don't think we can pull a 7n as family even if I book inside.

Now, wonder if New York will be back?

Oh - see a 5n Bahamian Holiday cruise...

I hope we see something new and interesting! The "new" itineraries are often very expensive because, like the 12 night Med, they only do a few of them. We also know Alaska will be in the summer, major peak season so... I'm steeling myself. Ouch!

Regarding holiday cruises: those sailings are sometimes longer. 2012 the Wonder did 6/7 nights out of Miami for Xmas and NYE.

DCL switches the 3 and 4-night cruises at Thanksgiving so there won't be a departure on Thanksgiving Day. They could do the same for Christmas and New Year's.

I truly hope all of you are correct. I leave Feb 14th for a cruise and I was hoping to book 3 more while on board including Alaska 2014!!

I need a suite though, will they be sold out in 3 days? (If it comes out on the 11th and I book ASAP on the 14th?) I don't think the Wonder has many suites.

I don't see Hawaii listed at all. Was hoping the might start offering a one way Hawaiian Cruise that was less than 14 days and could be combined with a stay at Aulani.

My daughter is hoping for that too. She really wants me to take her on a cruise to Hawaii

A one-way would work at the beginning and/or end of the Alaska cruise season, but it would have to begin or end in Canada or Mexico. There would be no LA-Honolulu cruises.

You're such a tease :) :lmao: Hi - btw :wave2:

Thanks for sharing what you could and I'm eagerly awaiting too. We're still very interested in Alaska and a 9 night would surely be more, however at least it would make the flights from the East Coast seem more "worth the money". We also would love to try the classic ships so I'm hoping for something in the summer of 2014, even though we have the Fantasy booked for Spring Break. I have another dummy cruise to move so let it begin!

Has anyone who has seen some of the schedule in advance noticed whether the Dream is doing a 5 night Double Dip schedule over Christmas or New Year's next year please?

We did a 5 night Double Dip on the Dream over New Year's 2012 and want to repeat in 2014.

Thank you very much!
